Banfield Pet Hospital El Segundo, California

I don't know why I still pay for Vet's services. When I had my Cat there last weekend for check up I specifically asked to see her Vet which is Dr Hudson. I was given another veterinarian to see my cat She had been having issues with me petting her left side, I had to ask for them to take x-rays for me And of course they were sent off off for someone to read them I did get a call by get a call 5 days later Telling me they saw nothing on the X-ray but suggested I put her on gabapentin for her pain .... for 1 she is not pain and 2 If they thought she was in pain why aren't they suggesting to do more tests to found out why.

I did not get to see vet with my dog. They took her in and I got a call from the vet. The vet was nice but I would rather see her with my dog. Everything is very expensive.

This location has serious issues with answering the phone and is almost always booked out 2 months. You can be put on a wait list...but you need someone to answer to do that. I've also noticed, they have machines that say they are closed because they turn off the phones early. I went in last week to pick up medication, they were open, noticed the phones are muted. This location needs to do better.

I made an appointment for a day and I just got a call from an extreeemely rude employee saying they don't have availability on the day I had confirmed and that I have to call other locations to see availability. He seemed like he reeeally hated his job. Would probably give 0/5 stars. You should check on him, I don't think he's okay lmao

Changing my earlier review. Besides some frustrations, my pet's made a better recovery.

Paid using pay pal, parked, went in masked, was welcomed, pressed the button to bring my order up. Checked order, perfect! Left for home happy that my pet would be happy.

Nice and convenient in-store vet inside Petsmart!

We scheduled an appointment for our 12 week old puppy online with Banfield of El Segundo and received a confirmation. A day later we were called because the online scheduling wasn't up-to-date and they needed to switch our 4pm appointment to a 9am appointment today. That was water off the ducks back. What infuriates me is that we dropped off our puppy at 9am and we were told that the doctor was delayed but the nurses would look her over. It is now 1:15pm and the doctor STILL hasn't seen her. This puppy's first experience with a veterinarian is sitting in a crate for over 4 hours without her humans present. I can't imagine how anxious and scared she is and it infuriates me that a place that should be looking after animals is neglecting them. This is unacceptable, unprofessional, and cruel to our dog. Don't go here.

Kind of over priced for a Walmart feel of veterinarian care. Needed a second opinion on a case where I couldn't trust them anymore.

I love this location I think they are so on point I may miss the mark with so many other things going on. I am especially happy to go to this location.

Great pet treatment. Fabulous staff. Kinda pricey tho.

They are always kind and understanding and take good care of my pets. They call to remind me of appointments and check up after visits to see how things are for my pets. Have been a client for about 8 years or so never had a issue with flea meds or visits and care for my pets.

They were so nice and sympathetic. Our dog had cancer and it was like saying good bye to a family member. They did everything they could to help us through it and respect our beloved dog

So nice and reasonable. Took care of my dog without any complications and with pride and compassion. Socks thanks you and so do I. Keep up the amazing work. The place was clean and pets were actually well behaved. I didn't need to take meds to fix a headache when I left and I still had money in the bank, need I say more?

This my friend's dogs vet. But when in for his scheduled appointment we where told told the place was closed and we should have gotten a call yesterday. However, we received no call to cancel or reschedule. Highly disappointed.

All 3 of my fur babies are patients here. Everyone from receptionist to drs are friendly, informative, and very understanding. I would absolutely recommend Banfield to anyone with a pet that they would want well taken care of by a staff of good people.

Incredibly rude, insensitive, unorganized, unreliable and unprofessional.

Dr Hudson is the best. He is conservative in his approach and is great at explaining what is going on. Our kitties like him too.

A visit to PetSmart for some puppy toothbrushes turned into an impromptu visit with the vet for some parenting suggestions and recommendations.

Love the Staff and the Doctor was exceptional.

Wow! This was our first time at this hospital. Audrey and Jasmine made the check in and check out process extremely easy. They took great care of my 13 year old dog and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Kira Didkovskaya was very thorough when she called and so sweet. I definitely recommend this hospital.

They close at 6pm even though online the hours state 7pm. All the other Banfields have updated their hours online so as to not make people waste their time showing up to a close Banfield!

Dr. Gilman and Dr. Smith are the absolute best vets I have ever been to. Their kindness and compassion is off the charts. I never feel rushed when asking questions and they are always so willing to talk to me and explain everything for as long as I need. I have a hard time leaving my cat alone but I know she is in the best hands when I do. And I can’t leave out the vet techs. They are all so wonderful and some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. Special shoutout to Amanda who is always the best.

I don't leave a ton of reviews, but wanted to give a shout out to the staff at this particular Banfield. My dog was on the Banfield pet plan from age 9 to 18, and this group took care of him in his last 4 years. The staff were always caring and compassionate, professional, and helpful. Particularly in the end, I was so thankful for their care for Toby and their support for me. THANK YOU <3

Dr Hudson and the staff at Banfield El Sugundo take great care of my fur babies. 100% the best place. They always make you feel like yours are one and only.
