These people clearly care for animals and do a great job with your pets. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to board your pet.

This dog boarding has good and some bad reviews. I was hoping that it was just a few ppl that complain about nothing but that was not the case. I boarded both of my dogs there and when I can to pick them up they seemed sedated and scared. I asked the employee how it went and they said they were really good. I asked about their dog beds and they brought them out and they were saturated in urine. Both of our dogs are continent so I asked why they were so saturated and they couldn’t answer me. I will never bring them back again

My dog was brutally hurt after I took it to this place not recommended at all, all the workers that work there are very ghetto and trashy they smell like smoke and smoke outside the facility I had. Also the lady that lives in the trailer has her dog ran over a couple of weeks ago so that’s not very safe. Taylor is the worker I spoke to she was very disrespectful and there was another women that lives in the trailer “Shannon” also very trashy and looks like on drugs.

I cannot say enough good thing!! My family was displaced due to the fires and needed a safe place for our two babies. They took such great care of them and were very affordable. Highly recommend and will be bringing the pups again for play dates or vacation boarding!! Thank you for treating my babies like family.

There aren't enough ways to rave about this business. We were evacuated during Caldor Fire. No places to stay because we have a cat and a dog. GVP opened their doors to us and to Kona and Bear immediately. Of all the stress we went through being evacuated for 17 days - my precious fur family health and safety were never an issue. They treated my animals like family and were absolutely amazing to us as well. Responsive, friendly, professional, caring... I could go on and on. When we picked up today Kona had a fresh bath and toenails clipped and they both looked fantastic. When a business takes care of people like this in an emergency, imagine what their every day service is like? I would recommend this location to anyone and everyone.

When I picked up my dog at the end of his visit, the staff pointed out that he had a hotspot on his paw. As it turned out, he had a foxtail lodged deep inside his paw. Additionally, he had foxtails in two of his other paws, though not as deep. In brushing him out, I found foxtails all over in his fur. The foxtails in his paws required 2 visits to the vet, one paw had to be lanced open, prescription painkillers, a round of antibiotics, and a sizable vet bill. I understand that a dog playing outdoors will naturally run the risk of encountering foxtails; but as foxtails are well-known problems for dogs, it would make sense that a dog boarding facility would make an effort to manage the growth of foxtails on their property. Nope, it looks like he completely rolled around in foxtails all week. EDITED TO ADD: When I communicated with the staff regarding the above issue, they were very apologetic and clearly outlined the steps they would take to rectify the situation for my dog as well as for the future. I will likely try boarding with them again when the foxtail situation is taken care of.

They take excellent care of my fur babies!

My male dog is 9 lbs. i took him here for the first time for grooming. The next day as I was holding him my husband and I noticed a 1” open wound that had to have been a cut by scissors. By no means could this have been done by a razor. As well he never has had hair anywhere around this area. As appalling as this was to find, we realize accidents can happen, That NO ONE even mentioned this or apologized just put the fire on the stove! For these reasons if you care about your dog I would NOT recommend this shop!

Great place for our loving pets to come have a good time and also excellent groomer on staff.

Very cheap but fantastic service. Way better then petsmart or other large companies. I take my dog their every time we cant bring him when were traveling.

Used them twice. Our dogs come away happy and it is nice to not pressure friends or neighbors to watch them when we travel. Will be bark ... I mean back!!!

Amazing place to board your dogs! We bring our two dogs there scooter and Lola they have been going there for years and they LOVE going there. The girls there are amazing with the dogs! Scooter can be shy with people but not there, they are family to him! Definitely recommend!

Daisy lives going there. Great for daycare and boarding. She always runs to their door!

Place needs a facelift and more modern accommodations for pets like Dogtopia @ Hazel & 50 next to Spaghetti Factory.

IF I COULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS I ABSOLUTELY WOULD!! My dog was VICIOUSLY attacked by SEVERAL dogs while we boarded her here for our move. I was NEVER notified of any issues, EVER. She came home and after a good bath I noticed 10-15 severe puncture wounds. I took her to our vet in granite bay to mark out on a body scale map EVERYONE of them. The facility tried to "play dumb" about it initially. Then they refused to talk at all with me. FINALLY I was contacted by the Owner Lucky. Lucky apologized profusely and told me I wouldn't be charged for this utter NIGHTMARE. ... but they DID try to cash my check & then slander my name on my Yelp page stating "your check didn't go through anyways". (THANK GOD I put a stop payment on the check as soon as I noticed her wounds. IDK ANYONE who would pay to have their dog abused and then left in the dark about it, on top of it all). I had initially thought the facility/owner's apology was sincere after talking with the owner. CLEARLY IT WAS NOT! Now talking with lawyers in regards to this real life nightmare. I WOULDN'T TRUST THEM WITH ANY DOG!! (Any animal at all for that matter) Absolutely DISGUSTING how two faced they are at Green Valley Pets/Kennels and how they'll say one thing to you but do another. THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN INDEFINITELY.

Never been to this place before but the ladies working the counter (i forgot their names) were very helpful and made my doxie feel at home. You can tell they really love animals! And his haircut looked great! I will be going back

They are SO awesome! have never felt safe leaving my pets until now. They are nurturing and caring and great! LOVE the new staff!

I had an absolutely horrible experience while boarding my three dogs at this facility. Almost $900 later I picked my dogs up and they were traumatized by their experience there. I paid for private play per dog which is an additional fee per dog per day in which I was not itemized with times or proof. My dogs smelled horrible as if they laid in their own feces during their visit. Two days after I picked up my pups all three of them started vomiting. The vomiting became worse and I had to take them to the Animal hospital which costed $1000. As far as I'm concerned they took poor care of my dogs and would not recommend them to anyone. Additionally, during their stay I called several times to check up on my dogs and nobody answered or returned my calls. For the cost of boarding my animals I expected better customer service.

We now take our cat Phoebe, aka: Smelly Cat for baths when our dog, Sugar goes for a bath & grooming. They both come home feeling clean & pampered! The staff absolutely love animals & are so kind & sweet. Our dog & kitty come home looking fabulous & feeling loved & spoiled. Just the way it should be! Thank you everyone at Green Valley Pets for such awesome work & it's very affordable. They also have great rates on daycare & lodging & go out of their way to meet yours & your pet's needs. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️????????

My teacup poodle, Sugar was there for grooming. It's the best job any place has ever done....and unfortunately we had been to a lot of different groomers. Not only did she look beautiful and they did everything we like, but her eyes that normally have a lot of discharge stayed clean after, for weeks. Someone had told me poodles just have that discharge, I think she didn't have it after the grooming at Green Valley Pets because they are exceptionally clean! Thank you Claudia, and all your people that make your place so great to bring my little Sugar too!!! And if I can ever get my husband to go some where, I won't hesitate to bring Sugar to stay!!
