Worse emergency veterinarian... Had to put our baby down tonight, was quoted $170. Receptionist asked if I wanted to pay in advance or after the procedure... stupid me said afterwards. We went in and heard our baby crying for the longest time (never heard her cry like that)... they said it's because they had to put the iv in. They brought our baby to us to get ready for the procedure... we asked if the vet agreed with our decision or is there other options? The tech said that the vet agreed and there's not much to do to safe her life but only prolong/causing more suffering. After the procedure, we were asked to pay $255 - justification: we asked the vet's opinion which is equate to examination. When we disputed the "exam fee" as we were never informed that by asking the vet's opinion would equate to exam fee... we were told that "oh, you are going to pay now and you are banned for future visits." We just lost our baby and instead of being compassionate, the tech literally came out and yelled at us (in front of other people). Very disappointed!

10pm My dog was bitten by a pit bull and I brought him to the only hospital open 24 hours a day. I clearly told the nurse that my dog had broken a bone, and he unprofessionally picked the dog up. After waiting for some time, the doctor told me that my dog was fine, only a little skin trauma, and asked me to pick up my dog at 11 o 'clock tomorrow morning. When I got home, it was 2am, but the doctor called me and told me that I needed to pay 8000 yuan for dressing my dog's fracture! And give 10000 above cost operation! I inquired, and the doctor told me that there was no guarantee that the dog would recover if the operation cost as much as $10,000! This is outrageous! I didn't agree to pay $8,000 that night, and the doctor told me to pick up my dog right away! Obviously I didn't agree! I picked up my dog at 10:00 the next day, he was bandaged, and I paid 1300 dollars to this black heart hospital to choose conservative treatment! This is the moment my nightmare really began! The doctor was very unprofessional and did not reset my dog's bone! As a result, my dog's shoulder blade is still misplaced, and the doctor is very unprofessional in bandaging, which leads to my dog meat rotting! My dog was stitched and 7 days later I went to the hospital for dressing change and the doctor forgot to remove the stitches. 3 weeks later the stitches became inflamed and I went to another hospital for dressing change and was told that the hospital did not remove my dog's stitches at all! Everything is terrible! This is a phony hospital!

WE WENT HERE FOR ASSISTANCE WITH OUR PREGNANT FRENCHIE SINCE THEY WERE THE ONLY 24 HOURS VET IN THE AREA. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN WITH THE DISAPPOINTMENT OF SERVICES WE RECEIVED FROM THE VET THAT WAS WORKING THE NIGHT WE BROUGHT OUR DOG THERE. HIS STAFF WAS VERY RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE. DR. KLAUS WAD VERY ARROGANT AND TOLD US THST OUR DOG WAS NOT IN LABOR AFTER WE DESCRIBED ALL YHE LABOR SYMPTOMS SHE WAS SHOWING THAT DAY AND THE DAY BEFORE. DR. KLAUS CONFIDENTLY TOLD US THAT OUR DOG WAS ONLY ABOUT 40 DAYS PREGNANT AND WAS NOT CLOSE TO LABOR. I TOLD HIM THAT OUR DOG WAS CLOSE TO 60DAYS PRRGNANT ALREADY AND WILL BE NEEDING A CSECTION SINCE SHE IS A FRENCH BULLDOG. WE ALSO TOLD THIS DR. KLAUS VET THAT WE HAD BROUGHT OUR DOG TO HER REGILAR VET THE DAY BEFORE AND HER XRAYS CONFORMED THST SHE WAS PREGNANT AND RESULTS FROM HER REVERSE PROGESTERONE SHOWED THAT SHE WAS DUE ANYDAY NOW. DR. KLAUS REFUSED TO LOSTEN TO US AND IGNORED EVERYTHING WE TOLD HIM AND SENT US HOME THE SAME NIGHT. LESS THAN 2 HOURS OF SENDING US HOME,IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT MY DOG HAD HER FIRST PUPPY AND DIED. WE WERE MISINFORMED BY DR. KLAUS AND HIS INCOMPETENT STAFF -MARICELLA WHO WAS TAKING ORDERS FROM THIS VET. I HOPE THERE IS AN ACTUAL REAL VET THAT WORKS HERE. THEY GIVE THIS BUSINESS A REALLY HUGE DISSERVICE FOR THE RESIDENTS AND PET OWNERS OF DIAMOND BAR. I HOPE SOMEONE THAT ACTUALLY CARES FFOM THIS BUSINESS REACHES OUT TO ME REGARDING OUR ENCOUNTER WITH DR. KLAUS. SO FAR NO RETURNED CALLS FROM ANYONE HERE. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY OF YOUR PETS HERE. I ENDED UP TAKING MY DOG TO THE 24 HOURS VET IN UPLAND AND THEY WERE THE MOST CARING STAFF AND PROFESSIONAL VETS OUT THERE.

I had to put my dog of 15 yrs to sleep. He was a member of our family. I'm so happy I found this hospital. The staff was so kind and friendly. It warmed my heart to see the compassion the technician had for my fur baby. I said my goodbye as his little soul left for heaven????❤????????

Took my dog in to get treated for pyometra. They recommended surgery, but messed up. My dog is now paralyzed from waist down. I wasn't able to speak to any doctors, and the nurses brush me away every single time I try to ask a question. They gave me attitude over and over, and lied about the date they gave her surgery and didn't explain why. Watch out on their consent form. They make you sign a paper that states that "they are not reliable if your animal leaves the hospital worse off than they came in". My dog sure did.

I called about 15 clinics looking for an emergency avian vet in the Los Angeles area before I found East Valley. My cockatiel was bleeding from some lost feathers and would not stop preening her wound area and I was really worried she would bleed out. I am so grateful they took her in right away. She ended up being okay so they gave me a discount on the exam fee which I really appreciated because as you all know pets can be expensive. I am so pleased with the professionalism and compassion displayed by the veterinarian and his assistants at East Valley.

If I could rate this zero stars I would. The lack of compassion and communication shown by this organization is appalling and honestly this facility should be shut down. Do better. Money is the primary concern of this clinic.

They saved my rabbits life. No other emergency vet clinics could see us, all were at max capacity on a Saturday evening . I drove nearly 50miles to diamond bar just to be seen. They saw my rabbit right away, ran x-rays, and sent us home with antibiotics. Yes, the emergency room got really busy soon after we arrived, and yes, it took about an hour longer to check-out because of it, but they’re saving lives and that matters more.

NEVER take your pet here. I have never written a bad review despite ANY bad service I have had but this place was so shockingly bad. Please read this. They will overcharge, be as rude as they can, and refuse to let you ask questions. I can't even begin to type out all the issues that occurred while we were waiting over four hours to get my little puppy back when they said it would only take an hour. I know it is an emergency center, but our dog came in a state of emergency and was not attended to quickly. We believe she ingested a bit of her toy and wasn't able to get it through her system, but they wouldn't let us just get an ultrasound. It had to be an x-ray, full bloodwork, Parvo test, and something else and no ultrasound, we wouldn't need that. They would not do less than full bloodwork and an x-ray. Refused to let us go in the back and we warned her she was having diarrhea. Thei bloodwork machine failed and read back incorrect numbers and caused a delay on us getting her. I do not know how that adds up to over four hours. Told multiple times the doc (Melissa Zukle) would be calling us shortly and hours later we finally got her. We are asking questions and were told, "If you are just going to continue to complain and ask questions I will just transfer you back to the office staff." when we were worried she was really sick after not hearing anything for hours. When I asked for an estimate on the further tests, Melissa said it was insane that I expected her to have everything memorized and presented on the spot and how could I expect that. All I was asking was if the treatment plan mockup would be additional costs. I believe she kept my dog in there for longer just because she was angry at us. There was no pets coming or going while we sat outside and we were the first ones in that night. They also forgot the toy we brought in for our dog and I had to make them go back and get it. All the information I provided about my dog on their records was incorrect. I watched them kick out an elderly gentleman who could barely stand because he didn't "call before entering the lobby" rather than letting him call from the lobby because he had trouble standing. When I got my dog back they had charged us for waste cleanup and said she had an accident but they cleaned her up. They did such a poor job I could smell the poop through my masks and we had to drive home with the windows down and our baby in a towel. She had to get a bath right as we went in the house. They gave us an antibiotic that we needed to give for 10 doses, and barely gave us enough for 4 doses. I called and the office staff said, "Sorry we could have administered the medicine wrong since it was so busy." I am so glad my regular vet is back and able to actually help us HEAL our puppy without their involvement. I could continue to list off issues we had with this place. I am just glad it wasn't a really life threatening issue in the end as another review said their dog is paralyzed because of them.

We had to put our Cat/Son of 15 years to sleep. This facility was awesome. They let the 3 of us stay in a private room with a sofa to spend time with our Rocky , he wasn’t alone. I don’t know if this facility will ever know how grateful we are to them for that.

I am beyond disappointed in this emergency vet clinic and their lack of care, professionalism, and cleanliness. I will no longer come to this facility and I warn those of you to please not make the same mistake in coming here. I took my dog here last night for a simple ear infection that started only a few hours earlier that same evening. This is not an uncommon occurrence for my fur baby, she used to have chronic ear infections as a puppy. I decided on this vet because we have been coming here for OVER 5 years, we’ve recommend friends and family members as well, and have spent a few thousand dollars here. I called ahead and the estimated time frame was originally stated about 2 hours. I understand that in emergency vet clinics the wait may be longer due it being after hours but the time frame was no where near what I actually stayed. I got there and my dog was taken in. The vet, Melissa Zukle, D.V.M called after some time and started explaining that multiple tests and procedures needed to be done in order to give any medication. Well I know my dog and I know the process in which to take for her specific ear infections. I asked questions as to why so many steps were needed to be accomplished in order to prescribe a broad spectrum antibiotic to hold her over through the night until we could go to her actual vet. Melissa Zukle was clearly annoyed and personally offended that I asked questions. This is my pet, I can ask as many questions as I like to make sure my dog is well taken care of. After I asked if I could refuse the testing she said she would not give antibiotics. So I decided to go through with the testing so I could get the antibiotics. I continued to wait for 3.5 hours while multiple other customers had come, been seen, and gone. When I inquired as to why I was still there the front desk had no answer. I even had a customer come out (that came in well after me) and said, “Why are you still here? I was in the back with my cat and not one other person or pet is back there.” I truly believe that Melissa was making me wait longer because she was personally upset that I asked her questions. In addition, while I was waiting another dog went poop on the floor. I told the front desk and the staff did not clean it up for over 2 hours. How unacceptable and gross for your facility to not care that poop is on the floor for 2 hours! Lastly, once my dog was finally treated and paid for they returned her to me. I noticed she did not have her collar on and had to come back to get it. The vet, Melissa was giving me dirty looks and acting very unprofessional. Needless to say I will NEVER come back here and I will call all my family and friends to tell them the same!

Last week my old man looked like he was having a seizure, turns out it was old dog syndrome. I have never heard of it but luckily this place was open and no one was ahead of me so he was seen right away. Doctor explained eveything to me over the phone and he had to stay overnight. He was well taken care of and was happy to get him back the next day. I had to take him back 3 days later due to stress he was experiencing from the syndrome, but the girls and the doctors were so helpful and gave me all the meds he needed and now he is about 95% back to normal! Prices to me were reasonable, but I can understand it being expensive considering I don't have pet insurance for him, and thats just the decision you have to make to keep them alive. Thank you again for saving my old man!

Last night our puppy broke her foot, we called vet after vet and not one could help us. They were either at capacity or had no one that could treat a broken foot. Today I was on the phone all morning and anyone that could see us couldn’t until Monday! I have never been so upset! I finally called East Valley and they told us bring her right in, no waiting no fuss. Thank you Thank you, you guys are the best!❤️

I took my Theresa-Marie (frenchie) here when she passed to have her cremated. The staff is very kind and patient as I had a hard focusing on the price and had to call back a few times and when it came time for handing my besty over to a tech, She didn't rush me, she didn't sigh or make any issue over my bawling in the lobby. They offer cremation services for $90 I am still waiting for the ashes back, which are supposed to come in a wooden box.

They only care about money they won’t see your animal unless you pay upfront. No option to be sent a bill. They wouldn’t treat my cat with a broken paw because I couldn’t afford to pay upfront

Sad to say I today I learned I lost alex my 3yr old breaded dragon, came to get him evaluated to make sure he had past on. I didn't not have the means to pay for the evaluation but they were gracious enough to do this for free. I want to thank the doctor and staff for being kind hearted and sympathetic and giving there condolences. Thank you guys definitely recommending and will give them my business again

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. They gave back my dog dead and told us to take him to another hospital. To take a dead dog to another hospital, that is the treatment you will have visiting this inhuman place

Questionable diagnosis. I took my dog there because she was sick. After they performed lab work and xray. I was told that my dog had CHRONIC RENAL FAILURE, she had an infection and the vet offered to do surgery, although she didn't know exactly where the infection was. I was told that my dog was septic and she was probably not going to make it. I was told that my other option was to euthanize my dog, that was more humane. I was devastated and didn't want my dog to suffer. I euthanized my dog the following morning. When I review with detail her lab work the next day my dog didn't have renal failure and the abnormal labs were because she was sick and dehydrated. When I called to questioned the diagnosis and prognosis. She refused to talk to me. My case was forward to the board of directors. Even when my dog was euthanized. I was told my dog would go to sleep and she would not feeling anything. That was a lie. They injected the medication to stop her heart immediately after the sleep agent my dog was awake and she just turn her face towards me and looked at me. Worst experience in my life. It's been 2wks and I regret taking my dog to them. I don't believe they are there to help save animals. They should not describe themselves as an "emergency" and animal hospital. This ONLY a clinic at best.

We just got a puppy 3 days ago and she had bad diarrhea. I don't know if it was just bad luck but all of the ER vets open near me were over crowded and said to call back in 6-8 hours but recommended she get seen right away due to her age . Ridiculous ! This was the only vet that could take her . I get here and there was only one other person waiting . And they took my Luna right away . It was a little pricey but I think all of the ER vets are . They were nice, kept me updated on what they wanted to do and answered my questions . I am grateful to them for being there when all of the other ER clinics were not !

Don’t take your pet here! This place is a complete joke. The staff is unresponsive and rude, the doctors are too busy gossiping with the staff to do their job. You will pay a minimum fee for them to call you back in two hours and ask what is wrong with your pet, they don’t even do examinations! I am surprised this business is still operating. The most unprofessional pet service I have ever encountered!! Terrible
