Generally love this clinic, but the changed their hours to pretty much have to take the day off to get an appointment. No emergency services either. Go elsewhere if you need convenience. Star date October 15th, the staff at VCA Aacacia have let me down by forcing me to get an appointment and then missing that time by a half hour.???????????? Star Date January 13th, check in before appointment time after taking a half day off to visit the vet. Nearly 20 minutes later after checking in. Still waiting. I like the staff, they are very nice, but the inconvenience is annoying at best. And definitely no emergency services that I can see anymore.

2.5 stars. You pay way more then the quality of care they give. Took my pet in for a skin/itch problem/check. And they didnt even try to look at him to get an idea of what it may be. Vet automatically assumed FLEAS. Called us in, checked my dogs heart etc and had us wait for almost an hr for a shot and the bill. $50 DOLLARS for just the appointment and $150 for a flea treatment. I was disappointed. Didnt even offer my dog some water, or try to calm him with a friendly touch or words. A Veterinarian doesnt have to love the animals, but at least show love in what you do.

Why the change in hours??? Customer service is horrible and bad management decisions. Most people have to work and this used to be a walk in hospital but things have changed for the worst. I'll be going somewhere else after 15 years. So sad, the management doesn't really care about our pets but only in making money. Shameful!

They used to be the most caring and helpful around, but lately it's been hours of waiting and pestering them just to SPEAK with someone over the phone. Hours of waiting is one thing, but it's clear that the staff are feeling severely under paid and over worked. You can tell, they aren't communicating well, and they are forgetting things.

Every time I call. I get placed on hold, no matter what time! Receptionist says, “Is this an emergency or can I place you on hold?” Also, in 2019, I hand the Senior Plus plan for my Pug that invluded dental. I had it done..fine. In 2020, when the plan expired, I asked the lady to renew my plan, assuming it was the SAME PLAN. In 2021, I was then told her dental was NOT included in the plan! The lady signed me up for the regular Senior plan!! So now I have to pay out of pocket for the dental!! If I would’ve known that sooner.Really?!

Review 1/2! 1 star for their lack of professionalism at times, lack of compassion at times, & mainly for Dr. Scott. I had the worst experience with him last year during COVID when my diabetic 10yr old min pin had an episode & his first seizure. Dr. Scott has zero compassion, has no clue how to speak to people so not quite sure why he's a vet, & he basically told me maybe it's just time for him...... I held back going off on him! My usual vets at the amazing GG Dog & Cat Hospital were so compassionate & kind with me & took care of my baby. He's doing just fine now & only needed a change to his meds. Additionally, I called today to make an appt. I was told next avail is 2nd week of June. I said okay I'll walk in, what Dr is on staff because I will NOT see Dr. Scott, but I was told they aren't taking walk ins because they are understaffed. Wow, said with zero compassion or providing any alternate solution for me. I'm sorry if it's difficult for the staff, because they are usually amazing, but it's also not the clients' faults & that's no way to handle that situation. This is an animal hospital right? I no longer feel confident taking my animals here & I will go elsewhere!

Called with a possible emergency situation with a cT and told to drive to Yorbo Linda or Anaheim to a sister office that might be able to see my cat. They were too busy with appointments and other emergencies. Would not recommend this for anything other then shots. If you have an emergency they don’t care

The parking at this place is beyond a joke. It's a nightmare. We have taken my dog here several times for an ear infection that they never cure. First they have her ear drops that didn't cure it. I already knew they would have to pack her ear after that. They were going to just do drops again. I asked why they would do that again when it doesn't work. So, they did go ahead and pack her ears, but they gave each ear a half dose because they didn't have enough medicine. Obviously that did NOT work. You have to use the right dose! So, we had to go back and get the ears packed again. This was like the 4th time she'd been there. It was the first time they thought to take a culture of her ear. Over a week later they call us and say there is a bacterial infection and that we need to come get antibiotics. Why would it take 4 visits before giving her antibiotics? They also wrote on her paper work and meds that her weight is 81 pounds but prescribed flea control for dogs 88-130 pounds. When we asked to switch it for the proper dose they said no. We have to bring her in to get weighed again. But, they can't see her to fro that for weeks! I sure hope her antibiotic dose is correct. They clearly do not know her actual weight. This ear problem should have been treated properly in the first place. It would have saved us money and my dog suffering. The staff is completely incompetent. I will never allow my dogs to go back to that vet again. Update: After all of that drama my dog's ear infection was once again not resolved. Our new vet informed us that giving her a half dose of meds in each ear before packing them, waiting several visits to even do a culture etc definitely made her infection worse. Do Not take your pets to this vet.

This was our first visit to VCA Aacacia Animal Hospital and unfortunately we had to put our dog down. However, the whole team was beyond compassionate and friendly. We couldn't ask for a more loving doctor while saying goodbye to our best friend of over 15 years. When we get another dog we will for sure come to VCA in Aacacia.

Dr. Scott has the worst bedside manner I’ve personally seen in a doctor. If you want zero compassion go see him. Our cat was presenting with critical symptoms and he suggested sending her home with a laxative. After a week of trying to get treatment for her we ended up going to another veterinarian.

In response to your request: Dear Kim, I requested the vaccination information to be emailed, for Lola.  However, to this day there has been "NO"email with updated vaccination records.   To my daughter or myself, but when it came to making sure you received your payment you were quick to send a text message.  Poor poor customer service. Extremely expensive , poor customer service including the doctors

Usually always so nice, have been going here for a few years now. A bit pricey but quality care. They mailed us a sympathy card which all the staff wrote something nice after we had to put our cat down. Wouldn't go to any other vet.

I'm not sure if it's considered a feedback. First time myself haking my dog to the to the vet. ( German Shepherd) I don't know about prices I don't care about prices when it comes to my dog. How was told this place it's pricey i thought ???? 300 $400 + for my dog's shots and flea medication and I only paid a hundred and 15 or $20. But the purpose of this review it's not the price it's the way I was treated my dog was treated aunt the information I gained by asking the vet keeping my dog hygiene and doing something about my dogs shedding hair. I I felt well taking care of so is my dog seems. This concludes my review hope you find this info useful thank you.

The staff at the clinic are best ????. We have been going to VCA clinic for the past four years and they have taken absolutely tremendous care of our fur babies. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to everyone who loves their beloved ❤️ pets!

Referred by the shelter. Just amazing vets and staff. Our puppy was spoiled and the most amazing part was $250.00 of care was free!! Veterans no excuses. Bundles of love and joy needing daily routine that will keep your routine in check. #whosavedwhom #dogshumansbestfriend

First time patient here. Had an appointment at 10AM today, arrived, left by 10:30AM. Highly recommend. I did not ask about a FTP deal, they automatically gave me a discount without asking. I truly admire that. Will come back again. Thanks!

They staff was so nice. I was worried about my dog, and they were so comforting and reassuring. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that wants a caring staff to look after their animals.

So we moved to corona 2 years ago with 2 kitties and of course finding a great local vet was top priority. Thankfully my cats are young/healthy currently, and as a result, they infrequently needed to go to the vet at all. We went to VCA for a couple of minor issues here and there (conjunctivitis, vaccines) and were always pleased... clean facilities, professional, helpful, etc... BUT THEN in August I was unexpectedly the foster mom of FOUR abandoned, neonatal kittens in critical shape. This was an urgent medical situation. Dr. G took my positive thoughts about VCA and magnified them ten-fold. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND for me and these babies. He truly, TRULY cared that they did well in life and he truly, TRULY cared that I was trying to help these unexpected, abandoned babies that I found... he understood how hard it was for me trying to do this on my own dime without any warning and he wanted to ensure I was able to do so. He did more than would ever be expected for them (and me). All four babies made it and it wouldn’t have been possible without Dr. G. If you want a vet that is not only great at what he does, but who GENUINELY has a heart for the animals, go to him and you’ll never be disappointed. The technicians are also lovely, caring, compassionate, and pleasant as well! Ps I “foster failed” one of those babies and kept her. Today she is 6 months old and just had a successful spay at VCA as well.

I had to do the hardest thing you can do when you have a pet. My Sandy passed away at home after having her 14 years. I took her to VCA on 6th and they were very nice and very compassionate. I wanted her cremated and I picked her up today. I could not be happier with the service, still very professional and they treated Sandy like a family member, which she was to me! I would recommend their service to anyone who has to go through this tough time. Thank you guys, you did an excellent job!
