So, first of all I messaged them on their website where there is a button to request an appointment. No response. Then I called and left a message, no response. I called again and left another message and the receptionist called back. I was told I had to pay for my $44 office visit before I got there. That was a little weird but I understood. I got there at 9:45 AM and my appointment was at 10. I was the first one there and the first one to sign in. I waited about 15 minutes in the lobby and then they took me into an exam room. I heard them usher the lady after me, into the next exam room, after me and she was seen before me. I think I waited an hour to be seen. Dr Lopez was very lovely and very good with JoJo. She didn’t totally agree with what I asked for but I wasn’t put off because she made some good points.. After Dr. Lopez left us, I waited for at least 30 minutes. The vet tech came in and I asked if I could use the restroom because I had been there for almost two hours.. The tech said she didn’t know if they had a bathroom???????????? I looked at her very surprised and she said “I haven’t been here that long, so I don’t know???” She came back and said that there wasn’t a public restroom. So, I waited longer and finally went out to the front desk and said I need to use the restroom and I’m gonna have to leave because you don’t have one. The receptionist looked at me , strangely and said “we have a restroom???? I just wanted to get out of there by this time. They brought the prescriptions out and I thought, “Thank goodness, BUT they charged me for the office visit twice. The girl said, “we can credit your account and I said “no, that’s OK, just credit my credit card“. Not a great experience

Loved this place, they were very informative and extremely gentle with my senior cat. Will only be coming here for my other pets from now on.

I was there today 1/9/2022 at 3:05 as a walk in, I did not have an appointment. The girl at the front desk asked Dr. if she could see my dog because it was 3:00 p.m. and they close at 5:00p.m. (5:00 is what I was told) Dr. said I had 2 options, evaluate dog give pain meds if needed or make appointment for the next day and she could do evaluation and lab work or blood work could be done. I took the first option so that she could at least evaluate my dog. I waited in my car, at 5:05 p.m. the front office girl calls me to tell me Dr. Can't see me. I told her I have been waiting 2 hours, she says, I told you you might not be seen. Not once when I was there did she tell me I might not be seen. She asked the Dr. And the two options were given to me.

I booked my appointment TWO MONTHS in advance for my cat to get spayed. I brought $160 in cash and the lady at the desk grabbed it and said she would input it and make my appointment. I trusted her since she told me she would take care of it but fast forward two months later (October) I show up to the clinic and it turns out the lady never made an appointment and she didn’t know where she placed the money. Of course I was annoyed because making your cat an appointment takes FOREVER but I wait for her to call me to let me know when she finds the money. She says she’ll email me about the situation but I show up instead because I need to know where my money is. Turns out, she found the money, but she forgot to make my appointment and two months have passed and I can’t do anything about it. She told me I had to wait until DECEMBER and if my cat is in heat, they’ll have to charge me more?! Excuse me? So I have to wait another two months and I have to pay extra? Listen I understand mistakes happen, but they seriously couldn’t squeeze me in or at least make this a bit more easier? My cat will obviously be in heat and it’s a shame that they handled it this way. I have no other option but to wait since other clinics are booked. I wish I could’ve talked to the vet but he wasn’t in so this experience felt horrible.

I enjoy coming to this vet. Brandy at the front desk is always friendly to chat with, and the staff quickly examines and is attentive to the needs of our pets. Thank you.

I started bringing my feral kitty in here not long after he showed signs of excess dripping from his nose and blowing same. I was told he had feline herpes. The dr. ordered combivent in jected. It helped. At NO TIME was I ever told he also had feline leukemia both of which are highly contagious. Today I was treated rudely by staff( Caroline), since I am planning to move put of my van into a house and my cat is extremely high strung and stressed out and thats not good for a sick cat. I was not received for my appointment and when I called about why. I was told I didnt text them to tell them I was in the parking lot. I would need to RESCHEDULE! THIS IS WHATS IN POMONA!!!! One huge "S-hole"!!!!! Thats my opinion... An Update,: I put my beloved buddy down and it breaks my heart to know so much ambiguity exists in the diagnosis and treatment of my fur babies. Who can anyone trust anymore?

I came for an issue with my cat. 1st I would like to say that I have no doubt as to the technical ability of the vets here, but I am unimpressed with their process of diagnosis/estimates. My cat was given an unnecessarily harsh diagnosis, despite him possibly exhibiting only 1 symptom of illness and being fine in all other respects. They wanted 3 different forms of testing (blood test, urine test, and 3 X-Rays) just to confirm that my cat was actually sick. You don’t drop an almost $800 bill into someone’s lap with little justification just because you think there might be a problem, you have to build up some concrete evidence and present it to the owner. A more appropriate way to do this would be to escalate from one step to the other, start with the blood test first, then urine test, and finally X-ray if everything else is inconclusive. My cat was clearly not in pain, no behavioral changes, young in age. There was plenty of leeway for a more graduated approach. You also should have explored alternative sources to the issue, instead of going for the most deadly prognosis/worst case scenario. So here I am ranting against a vet with a perfectly healthy cat right next to me, only $44 poorer instead of being plundered of $800.

Dr. Sun is awesome and the caring staff as well. Took our dog Coco there because she was not feeling well. We were scared because we are on a very tight budget right now due to the pandemic. She explained everything with understanding and care and no unnecessary costly additions. We finally found our permanent vet. Thank you all at Pomona Animal Hospital. ❤❤❤

I brought my dog down for an exam to remove a growth they quoted me at $1100 and don’t even remove the growth upon going to some other places I was quoted the same price but including removing of the growth Also spaying the animal would not recommend anyone going there and less you have money to waste
