I have been going to Del Mar Heights Veterinary Hospital for over 20 years. They are responsive, professional and truly care about the animals they serve. I highly recommend them for your pet.

They are so pleasant and thorough. The doctor calls after seeing our dog to check in. Highly recommend them.

We are somewhat new to Del Mar Heights Veterinary, but that didn't stop us from falling for them! The staff is super helpful and friendly and Dr. Bahr is a true animal lover. Maximus loves going in and getting showered with attention, even if it ends with his allergy shot????

Our dog Ty has been going here for about 12 years and they have always taken great care of him. The staff is friendly and professional and all three doctors are very kind and knowledgeable

Great staff and service. Had made a last minute appointment. We were in from out of town. Our dog came down with Kennel Cough. We was feeling better by the next day.

We recently moved to CA and picked this clinic because it was closest to where we were staying. We have since moved thirty miles away but we will continue to drive the extra miles because we are so happy with the care our dog has gotten there. From the desk staff to the techs to the Doctors- all are professional and friendly. They are knowledgeable and I never feel hurried when asking questions or voicing concerns. Highly recommend.

We have been taking our dogs to Del Mar Heights Veterinary Hospital for over two decades. The doctors and staff are wonderful, caring, and helpful. I can't recommend them highly enough!

I had 2 cats: 17 and 18 years old. Both passed away recently, and I adopted a new kitten, and I chose Dr. Baer and Dr. Heiss as his veterinarians again. My 17 years old girl had diabetes that Dr. Baer and Dr. Heiss were able to manage it for many years. I am not sure if this hospital has the best prices for their services, but they always respond when I have questions, and I can't think about anything negative that I would experience for the last 17 years.

You did a great job, especially considering the situation we are all dealing with. Thank you! We trust you to always take care of our cats.

Doctors Baer and Heiss are the best! We switched from another local vet, who seemed to be constantly running up tests and visits without offering treatment alternatives. Since coming here, our dear dogs are in excellent health and getting great care. Our dogs love coming here, prancing into the back and sitting on the scale to be weighed. At check out, they know how to ask for cookies.

First class service and staff!

I'm on vacation in Del Mar . Our lab Hank was coughing a lot . I called and Janette had me come in immediately. She along with Monica and rest of administrative and technicians gave my dog excellent care. They are very professional. DR Jackson was very detailed and immediately made the correct diagnosis. This is a great office

Very disappointed in service here. Brought my cat in for a procedure only to have to repeat the procedure a day later. Del Mar Heights had no interest in providing me with any sort of compensation despite knowing their procedure was not succesful and would have to be repeated. Stay away. Save your money. Go somewhere that will do things right and stand by their work.

Dr. Bear has been our vet for 30 years. We drive all the way from El Cajon....they are that good! Monica is so friendly and helpful! Totally worth the drive (although my pets might disagree).

Brought my kitties there paid $120 for them too take their temp and tell me the weight, I thought i would get alot more for the amount i spent, i spent another $52 to get a fecal test they told me to bring a sample really fooled me they didnt find anything but my kitties are pooping blood? The vet had no clue its not normal to poop outside litter boxes. I couldnt afford to send both samples. Got a call telling me they found nothing in the sample thank god i didnt have enough to send both. Spent $172 for absolutly nothing. NEVER AGAIN very disappointed i expected alot more for all the money i spent!

What a fantastic place! We were traveling with our dog who deteriorated and had to be euthanized. Everyone we interacted with was professional and sympathetic. They were great with our kids who were struggling with losing their dog. I could not recommend them highly enough! They are great!

I've been bringing my dog to DMHVH for her entire 14 years, and they have expertly seen her through a wide range of regular check ups, teeth cleanings, illnesses and emergencies. The doctors and the technicians are all such professionals and it's evident they care very much about their clients, both human and animal!
