ABC Animal Hospital Cypress, California

This has been our vet for our bulldog boxer mix for 7 years. They are kind and compassionate and really care for the pets they see.

I went in on the 30th and had to wait over an hour past my appointment time to be seen. They took at least 1 person who came in after us, if not more (not sure how many wait outside with their pets & get called in when it's their time.) The people who came in after us were unmasked. The vet & another staff person were not wearing masks despite the sign on their door stating masks were required. The vet barely listened to my concerns. And did not seem to care to answer my questions. When I put my cat back in the carrier I noticed blood on the floor. I was immediately concerned for my cat thinking he was bleeding. The vet then said it was probably from the dog who had been in prior who was bleeding. I'm sorry but you had a bloody animal in the room & didn't sanitize before the next patient?! I knew I'd have to wait for answers for my cat's issue, but I've decided to get a second opinion elsewhere because this just doesn't seem ok.

Extremely kind, caring people. My rabbit was sick on New Year's Eve and they all stayed late tending to her. I'm extremely grateful to them.

Quick in and out for shots and puppy check up they are very nice in the office

We used to take our dachshunds to VCA, up until a few months ago when we tried to get our puppy neutered and they wanted to charge us an outrageous amount like they do with everything else. So we started shopping around for other clinics. ABC is very close by and the staff is very honest and knowledgeable over the phone. They informed us back when we were getting our puppy neutered that VCA was doing a lot of unnecessary stuff. After our great experience with the neuter, we decided to bring our senior to get some dental work, again they charged a fraction of the cost of VCA and they were very caring and gentle with her. Fast forward to our most recent experience a few days ago. Our senior was not acting herself and it was hard to pinpoint exactly what was wrong with her. They gave us some advice over the phone(which VCA would never do, they would just say “we won’t know what’s wrong unless you bring her in”) and also they set up an appt for the next day. We arrive, and it was our first time meeting Dr. Kumar in person, as during the pandemic most of the time we have had to wait in the car. He was a very kind man and right away he was able to rule out any back issues by seeing her walk around. After noticing she had a fever, we mentioned she gets like this when she has anal gland issues. Which then he checked her anal glands and low and behold that was the exact issue. (TMI sorry) but he expressed them, and right away she was feeling better. He chatted with us and joked around with us a bit and sent us on our way. Again a very nice man, you can tell he has a passion for what he does. The staff is great too, and maybe I am just imagining things but I felt like they were being extra attentive with our case. 10/10 would recommend anyone come here.

Front desk lady is very rude, bad attitude towards people. Cannot rely on anything they say...just felt cheated. I will never go back to this place again.

Our dog is well taken care of if and treated with so much love during his appointments and kennel stays. The staff knows our dog and speaks to him like family. He has had surgery at ABC Animal Hospital and returned home happy feeling much better. The veterinarian was through in his diagnoses and even called to check on our dogs progress. I thought this was a great gesture. My only negative comment is that we have never had the opportunity to met or speak to the veterinarian face-to-face but only had the opportunity to communicate through the front hospital staff in which sometimes the message did not get relayed correctly. Overall this is a GREAT facility for our beloved dog who is 15 years old. We will continue to use their services because we are comfortable and confident in the services they provide our dog. I would recommend ABC Animal Hospital to anyone who want a peace of mind.????Keep up the great work.

Do not go to this place-terrible Vet who didn't know what he was talking about and sent my completely sick cat home saying she was healthy when her Vet referred me to a surgery place because she needed a nasal scope for an ongoing respiratory issue affecting her breathing.

I've been coming here for almost fifteen years. They are very understanding and willing to work towards solutions, both medically and financially. Max, my late cat, received excellent care and lived much longer than predicted during end-of-life complications. They handled both my cats with care, and treat my elderly Mia very gently. Thank you to the staff!

They tried to tell us our cat was pregnant to get more money because we had a city voucher for our spay. She was so loved and cared for and never got outside and just finished her heat cycle as to why we knew she was not pregnant. We asked for a prof and they had none. No blood work to prove, only to say doctor went off the size our the ovaries. They thought she was a kitten even after we said she was around 7 years old. I just don’t want this to happen to others . Know your pet and know their health to prove people wrong that try to take advantage of the system. Don’t hate, appreciate! And love animals always ????????

I love this hospital. The doctor and staff are genuine and don't try to gouge you. I have been going here for years. If I could give them 100 stars I would.

Good doctor. Cat on the mend.

I work here. Lol but i also take my own pets here. I like the dr because hes very thorough and very good surgeon, and very kind and fair. He doesmt lie or waste time trying to add unecessary things to your bill. It may take some time but its worth it in the end and all of us love animals. The kennels are spacious and everything is washed daily, as well as play time wih the dogs in the back.

The best place to take our little Lana. We have been looking everywhere and tried over 45% of these animal hospital and got not where my dog is a small Yorkie and when we brought we here she had no problem going to the dr. But we take her anywhere else and she won’t go.

Amazing place! I thought they were only a hospital yet they provide fur cuts and boarding! Their customer service is superb! Speedy "my dog" will be using their boarding this coming 4th of July for the reason he does not like fireworks!
