Affordable Animal Hospital Covina, California

My cat simply needs a worm shot and they will not comply they want a full exam before they'll do that. Just for the money. They're horrible people and all as they want is money anything I ask for they want a full exam first. A week ago they didn't want an exam that I couldn't get him there. You guys are just horrible money hungry people. Shame on you

They just want your consult money. The Dr is very unprofessional and hung up on me on the phone. Don’t trust them when it comes to skin growths. And they are not that affordable either. Bogus Doctors just looking to profit from your pet

Says they open at 9am,I’m standing out front it’s now 10:30am and they are not open

Took my cat here there was a accident and she got hurt we took her to get checked out make sure everything was okay they had her for a couple hours they said she was gonna be okay called us to pick her up said everyrhing was good that she’s okay and to take her home and just keep an eye on her didn’t suggest any after care or to get a check up but we decided to take her to a other animal hospital for over night care just in case and when we got there they said the cat was unresponsive and they didn’t know what to do and said we have 2 options we could take her to a specialist but it’ll be over 10grand and that there’s no promise she’ll recover and be okay or we have to put her down. They called affordable animal hospital to ask them to email the notes the doctor took while examining my cat and the notes were completely the opposite of what the staff told you us and it also said my cat was hit by a car which she wasn’t. They’re liars here and don’t really care super unprofessional and I highly recommend to not bring your animals here just because they’re cheap

Besides the very long, hourly waits from the moment I arrive to drop my cat off to the moment I come to pick him up, I don’t really mind, but what I do mind is the false title of “affordable”. I was charged over a thousand for a small surgery and kept on being charged every time I went back for check ups. Let’s not mention the HORRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL job they did for my pets surgery!! I wish I would’ve gone somewhere else. Disappointed I gave these people so much money for a horrible job. I’m afraid my baby is going to pass and they wouldn’t care.

My husband and I made an appointment at Affordable Animal Hospital for a new kitten we adopted a few weeks ago. We were ready to have her visit check up and ask the vet questions regarding our baby. However, when we arrived, we noticed that appointments would be held in the car. This is unacceptable that we were not told that our kitten would be seen in a car and that it wouldn't be a full check up. We waited two weeks for this appointment and had to scramble to find another vet asap. It would have been great if we were told about the facility's COVID-19 restrictions in advance. If we knew we wouldn't have wasted their time with an appointment.

"AFFORDABLE" 50$ for a consultation then 300-400$ for spay (but she isn't sure). They aren't allowed to give you a price because it "depends" 300 is not affordable at all for a spay at all. Other vets around the area can do it for 150 or less. Glad I phoned around.

They are horrible only care about the money not the animal! Misdiagnosed the dogs problem. Left the animal in pain! Not affordable! No follow up called to tell them the dog was worse they never called back, totally ignored me!

It took my cat in to get a little cut on the side of her cheek fixed and she came out with broken legs

I called this place to make an appointment, and was put on hold for 26 min. and 6 seconds only to be tod that they dont have appoontments available until a month later. I don't know about their service, but it all starts at the front desk and its just crazy that they can put people on hold for that long.

Great place, our tea cup chiuaua needed life saving surgery. But they helped us get credit for it and our baby is running around. Thank you soon much.

My cat had surgery to remove part of overy some one else left behind they found it every one was really nice doctor knew what he was doing thanks doc thank you to the staff

Great service. During a difficult time of having to put our beloved pet of 13 years down, they made it a little easier on us during this crazy pandemic and even made time for us to say good bye to him.

I just called for my dog, he just needs a rabies vaccine, they told me that he needs a exam witch it cost $40 dollar + $15 Dollars vaccine, I know my dog is not sick, they just try to make money. Not right.....

My wife and I are super happy with this place. The staff was great and the Dr gave us a lot of information.

I made an appointment for them to see my cat and I arrived like 10 minutes early and was told to wait in my car. I ended up waiting for like an hour and then I came to find out they were double-booking. What's the point of an appointment if you're booking someone else for the same time?

Horrible service. We had our appointment at 4 we arrived there 20 minutes before. An hour went by and nothing. I would call and all they would do was place me on hold. My dog got tired n we just ended up leaving. Would recommend it at all.

They handle my crazy red nose pit very well. Good prices for check ups and vaccinations.

Its affordable, but they always make you buy unnecessary or duplicate meds for the dogs. They almost made me poison my sick dog by double prescribing antibiotics!!! My dog kept throwing up after giving the meds. Well, its because of the double dose. I will go back there, but I will question every med they prescribe from now on. My dog is recovering, but she only gets a single dose until she is done...

They weren't that great with my cat

Good experience with this hospital the two times I have been here. Their rabies shots are the least expensive of all the other animal hospitals in the area and they don’t “make” you pay for a regular consult!
