Ruff Haus Grooming Costa Mesa, California

We really love the work that Ruff Haus does, however, the amount of time that it takes to groom our small dog is NEVER consistent. Sometimes, it takes 2 hours, sometimes, she is there for 4+ hours. We almost always get the first appointments in the morning, so it’s very confusing. The other female groomers are incredible and are very kind in-house, however the owner has little to no customer service skills and can definitely come off as rude or stand-offish over the phone and in person. I would love to keep bringing my dog here because the quality of work is decent, but the customer service isn’t great, the timing is inconsistent with no explanation as to why, and the owner could use some customer service work with his clients. Unfortunately, after 4-5 times of the same issues, we are going to go with another groomer.

They have always done an amazing job with our little Maltese, would recommend them 10/10!

I called to make an appointment for my dog, and the guy on the phone was just rude and not helpful. I hadn't been there so I had a few questions but this guy acted like I was bothering him and said do u want to have appointment or not. I chose not.

Just took my two little guys in for a nail trim. It was the best job ever! I will definitely be back. Kevin did a great job!

I was nervous trying a new groomer today. This team did a great job on my 16 yr old Malti-poo and my 6 yr old Maltese. I highly recommend Kevin and his staff- and my pups and I will be back!

These people almost killed my dog overheating him in the back. If you love your animal beware. My dog has never been the same since. The owner agreed to pay for the vet bills to fix him but then stopped after a few treatments.

They were busy. Kevin was able to get me the next day. My dog Mikey and Katie were very excited and happy to see me. They looked beauitful. Great price and professional.

I took my puppy for the first time, and I was surprised, from the Asian guy, he has the worst customer service. And when I pick up my dog , same thing really bad customer service again, and the grooming was terrible. Not happy at all. NOT bringing my dog here ever again

I have 2 large black labs and 1 small dog and they do a great job with the nail trimming. He takes the time to cut and round off the nails and the price is good.
