Felt so welcome bringing our kitty here to find out what was wrong. The staff is great and very reasonably priced.

My little Chihuahua, Julio, was in alot of pain & fever from an infection in his mouth, from bad teeth he had before I rescued him & his girlfriend Guadalupe, from TiJuana, Mexico ! 8 yrs ago ! No Vet in Huntington Beach would take him in asap! Except CM Animal Hospital ! Yesterday ! He had dental Surgery, & pain meds, etc.! The Doc was great ! Tks. To all of them who cared about 6 lb. Julio! Now, my new Vet for life ! My regular vet, close to my house, put me on hold forever, twice & I've spent a small fortune there! I won't go back! They're way too busy! Tks to the Happy Dr. With the English accent @ CM Animal Hospital I'm a new patient for life ! Julio's is back to normal now & ate soft food right away! Recouped fast & happy to be home ! Vet care is not cheap, but my k-9's deserve to have top notch care! Priceless! I save money all year for Best Vet care! My pets depend on me! They make my life wonderful !

They are always awesome at costa mesa animal hospital. The girls at the front desk are freindly & understanding & the drs (paladin this time) have alot of experience. Dr. Paladin took really great care of the puppy that needed his attention. Thank you so much for all you do!

Good. Quick for shots

I love this place! Front desk people are amazing! The doctor is amazing! I ran up a tab and didn’t know about it I though they had my card on file and they told me I hate an outstanding balance and they told me “just pay it when ever you can” they never turned away my cat because of that these guys are the BEST. Only place I come too. They always take care of my two guys❤️

I have been going to Costa Mesa Animal Hospital for almost 20 years. The prices are reasonable and the care is excellent. They always give you care options and my dogs and I have always trusted their opinions. Thanks for keeping Bob, Fred, Hank and George healthy all these years.

Dr Paladin is the best doctor. He's so calming and thorough. We travel to see him.. this whole place is great. I feel totally comfortable leaving or taking my animals to them! ????

Staff were wonderful and super sweet. They groomed our foster dog that hadn't gotten a good grooming in a very long time. He looks great!

If I could give it one star I would, Sabrina the front desk clerk is unprofessional, rude, and holds no accountability for herself or the company she works for. She lied about giving my cat her vaccines due to her being mad about being evicted from my house for not paying rent. Then when I talked to the front desk they all act like they never had my cat there. Will be filing a formal complaint that this place does work under the table and does no proper documentation

Horrible customer service provided by the front desk clerk Sabrina, she is unprofessional ill-mannered and obviously not properly trained to do her job. She vaccinates animals and brings in animals for surgical procedures without doing proper documentation, but I guess this is a normal practice for this establishment. My cat was brought in for vaccines and to get spayed yet they have no record of my cat being brought in and Sabrina was the technician that received my animal for vaccine shots and to get spayed

My small dog was bitten by my large dog, and I had to have emergency vet care by another provider who basically bait and switched prices, and provided horrible care. The other provider ran by the County of Orange in South Orange County provided sub par care and lacked any humanity, or kindness in how they treated me or my dog. Mind you my dog had multiple lacerations including one that was over 5 inches in her neck - she is a chiweeni that laceration alone was from her neck/ chest area to shoulder areas. In fact, in 2012 they the OC emergency Vet missed diagnosed her and almost caused her to be paralyzed permanently. I in fact had 3 vet bills as a result that time. The OC place, a second opinion who referred me to neurosurgeon Dr Berry, and Dr Berry who performed spinal surgery. I was so traumatized by the incident of my dog being mauled by my other dog this last weekend, and had to set up some home protocols for my large dog and small dog before it was safe to reunite them. So thankfully the kind dear compassionate Dr Long of Costa Mesa Vet Clinic took over my dog’s care after the emergency surgery. He saw my sweet doggie and loved her up. He even kept her at his desk and had people check on her during the evenings. He called me every day. And in fact had to repair something the County Vet had done. He fully gave her all the medicine and treatment she needed and had extra staff supporting her. I love that truly he saw me as a hurt human. He saw my dog as a hurt doggie, and he nurtured us both, giving trust and care to the both of us. And yes - he was so kind he did not overcharge or exploit us ( like the initial vet from the County did). I have started using Costa Mesa Vet Hospital during the pandemic for all my animals. And although they are almost an hours drive from my home. I will always seek out these compassionate providers. I have used them probably 6-7 times this last year and always had a positive experience. And in fact I was originally referred to them by a friend who also had a positive experience. Easy in easy out, and nice people

Took our new puppy here to get some shots. Everyone was super friendly and the vet was great. Moco didn't even know he was getting a shot since the doc gave him treats!

The woman at the front desk spoke down to me in every way possible. They are not inviting, not friendly, not service driven. I felt so belittled by her. Their web front door and and Google say close at 7pm and when I showed up at 6:30 she threw a fit that I was there at the door knocking. I recommend asking for concrete details on procedures as they do procedures before asking and then leave you with a large bill. This happened with my dogs tail amputation. No details no information no quote just straight off at the length they wanted and then stuck me with the bill. This has happened to both me and my brother. The doctors do do great work once it’s done. But that front desk needs to be held accountable for their friendly communication skills and the doctors need to communicate appropriately.

We've been coming here for years. Ask the doctors are great & the vet tech's know there stuff.

Really wanted to go into the clinic with my dog but covid prevented this. Anyway they were very professional and came and got my dog called me and then delivered her back. Hopefully they open up soon because I want to go in with my dog and meet the doctor.

Staff is horrible. Especially Carlie! She is so rude, curt and uncouth in the extreme! Anybody riding great reviews here must be friends or family . The vets are just ok. And very handsome! Otherwise I would never recommend this place to anybody. You wait outside for 30 minutes while 10 people are in front of you waiting for the same things. Ridiculous. Go to Laguna Beach animal hospital and see doctor Levin instead

best vet ive ever met - saved my dogs life betty - and did the same for my late lamented wifes dog called scouser who wa san amazing bulldog. both were to be put down i was told yet i took to Ron and he fixed the bulldog for 4 more happy years and now betty is saved! this is the ONLY vet id use. im british and the standards are high and this guy is up there - there are so many shark vets in cali. you can trust ron

Doctor forgot to prescribe pain meds for my small papillon after surgery, and he's been really having a hard time now. I hadn't known about this except I read it after the fact online. Why wouldn't a seasoned veterinarian cover all the basis, idk, but this has to be the hardest thing I watched my pet go through.
