It seems like they are good choice to go with they're really hard to get ahold of and they are a little crazy

Exactly what you think you’ll get from a large corporate conglomerate, is what you will get. Literally have brought my dog in 4-5 times in the last month to run several tests. Every time, getting called back to run more tests. I pushed back and asked if there was a way NOT to incur a tech fee every time considering they’ve gather urine and blood in past visits and was told yes by one of the doctors. Last conversation was let’s grab urine sample AGAIN to test for leptospirosis even though previous type of exam ruled it out. They said no tech fee and $150 for sample. I get there and it’s like $165+ tech fee. I referred back to my conversation with the doctor and the response was, “Oh let me check with the doctor. She never said she told you that but we will honor it THIS time.” First off, you are calling me a liar and secondly, I’ve been back at least 4-5 in one month while you continue to charge me? Why didn’t you run all these tests from the start? And what is a tech fee anyway? Acting like they are doing me a favor…. Another vet office trying to squeeze every penny out of their clients!

Making a wellness appointment was quick and easy. Staff was professional and caring. Dr. Klaus did a great job answering my questions and providing me with the care I needed for my dog. My dog is pretty nervous going to vets and is always anxious after her appointments but coming out of this appointment she was happy. Definitely recommend this place.

I brought my pet for a nail trim. After $45 check up which I did not authorize meaning they did not disclose during the appointment that they need to perform a check up prior to nail trim, they said my pet did not need a nail trim. So I paid $45 for nothing. Why is this place affordable when they charge fees for services that is not needed? Both the veterinary and technicians were extremely rude. My dog was scared and shaking all day, I am not sure what happened behind closed doors. DO NOT bring your pets to the THRIVE Vet Care. Awful experience.

I trusted this facility with my elderly pit. Appointments are easy and fast, care is absolutely top notch. Today I brought my pup in and unfortunately she did not make it, but everyone there made sure I felt comfortable and they did everything they could for her despite the circumstances. Highly recommend for anyone. Also get their membership, it will pay for itself.

Horrible experience with this vet in particular. Wasted time and money going here and had to go somewhere else after anyway. I don’t think all thrive locations are bad but for this one in particular you’re better off going somewhere else.

I got a pretty rude guy on the phone, I think his name was Steve. I was trying to get a prescription for my dog and was asking who had given it to me. I couldn't tell him cause it was a vet from another Thrive and since they told me they were all connected I'd just call to refill them at different places. So whenever I call this Thrive to get a refill I'd just call it in a get it. I never saw anyone. Now he was telling me I had to make an appointment. I mean he didn't even know who the vets were in the place he worked at. When I told him which vet I saw he didn't know who I was talking about. Totally turn me off to going to this place. Rather travel father away to see someone else than go here and get this kind of treatment.

If you want to protect your dog's LIFE and not waste thousand dollars on vaccination and aftercare. Don't bring your pets to the PETCO THRIVE AFFORDABLE VET CARE. Their customer service reps and Doctors do not care for pets and will inject multiple vaccines to your pet, If your pet develops any allergic symptoms or feels ill because of the vaccines. They will not provide any follow up advice or any guidance to take care of your pet. Leaving you no option but to seek help from an emergency PET hospital. If a vaccine creates an allergic reaction to your pet, the staff won't even ask you anything about the dog ,just tell you to go to the animal emergency center and seek help elsewhere. Dogs have different breeds, sizes and ages and will have different reactions to vaccines. Even though last year's vaccine is ok, it does not mean that this year's vaccine is ok, every time there is a certain risk of getting allergy. In our case, we went to PETCO hospital and now I have to prepared to pay $300 to $2,000 to go to the emergency room to save my dog's life. So PLEASE go to an animal hospital that actually cares and a responsible medical staff that will be ready to give advice in case your pets get allergic reactions after the vaccines. Dog life is very fragile, please protect your dog,DO NOT go to PETCO hospital. My dog carer is Dr Rebeca Del Mar Uribe-Carriga,the company name is PETCO+THRIVE AFFORDABLE VET CARE. I chose this hospital because I trusted the Brand and wanted to protect my beloved dog. But what They're doing is only ordering shots and giving as many vaccines as they can to make money .

I called three times since Wednesday and they told me they would call back. I'm still waiting for a call back. I wonder what is going on ???? Overall this place is not too shabby.

Dr. Klaus was excellent with our pet. He is a very caring vet and I would highly recommend him. I would give them a five-star rating . The office staff in Eastlake was also very nice. The only thing I didn't like was the call center because they seem to have trouble speaking English and understanding what I was trying to tell them.

I don’t know about all locations but this one made me feel like I was bothering them for calling and coming to an appointment. The first appt. I went to with my puppy was great it was a perfect experience. However after that appt my puppy was having side effects from the medicine we were given so I called to book another appt and was greeted by a lady who sounded like maybe they were having a bad day (which is fine we all have those) however she was speaking to me like I was an incoherent child. Now when I get to my appt today. (I was about 5-10 min late so I know I was going to be taken a little late which they told me upon calling of my arrival.no big deal) the First Lady who I spoke on the phone with was kind, she told me she would be coming out to get my puppy. I waited about another 5-10 minutes outside the door, and no one came out. I was left a voicemail on my phone asking “are you here or are you not here” I don’t think there was meant to be an attitude but I took it that way. Not to mention I never saw anyone come out of the building. The whole time I was standing next to this giant plant which sits right next to their door and a watering bowl for dogs. So I called again and said I was still waiting, I had missed their call and that I’m waiting outside. The lady confirmed my phone number, said she was going to get another person to help me over the phone and then disconnected. I understand miscommunication happens, and everyone is working hard in different positions. But the lack of work ethic here was astonishing. I waited a little longer until another women arrived at 10pm and your staff came and greeted her quickly. In the end I left and took my puppy home. I will not be returning. Not one Time did I give an attitude with any of these employees because I know guests can be a pain in the butt and they are just doing their job, but it seemed like I was given attitude from every corner and this is just not professional at all. This was an appt booked due to side effects from medication I was given at this location. Needless to say, thrive had me leaving with my feelings hurt because if my puppy was dying they showed me that they didn’t care.
