We found our perfect new family member oj petfinder and filled out a online adoption form. We heard back within hours of submission. We emailed back and forth with questions and got answers quickly. We ended up driving up (about 2 hours away). Everyone we met was super friendly and you can tell they all really care about the animals, their health and well-being and finding them good homes.

ADOPT A PET. THEY ALL NEED OUR LOVE!

We recently adopted from Wags and the only thing I found insane was the prices. I understand they have apparently switched vets, leading them to need to raise prices to cover those costs but never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined the price we paid for our pet. Truly insane and had I thought it through, I definitely wouldn't have rescued from here. Additionally, when we took our dog to their first vet appointment, they were diagnosed with ringworm so add on the cost of meds to the insane adoption fee and that's a "never again" situation for me.

Honestly I didn't go there on Tuesday. Had to drive by it. But I love that place. Im happy that people go out and find them. Poor babies can't speak for themselves. All Gods animals need us taking care of them.

We love our kitten but she has cost us SO much money. The adoption fee of $250 would maybe be worth it if the animals there were actually healthy. We were told our kitty should have nothing wrong with her. She had one weepy eye when we got her but we were told she’d just gotten over a cold so we thought it would go away. It ended up spreading to the other eye. We took her to the vet 2 weeks after adopting her and turns out she has pinkeye, ear mites and worms. All her treatments and medicine cost us ANOTHER $250! We are very disappointed in the integrity of this place.

Helped a friend adopt a shelter dog today. For a sick dog it was a lot of money.

Wow, these ladies are great!! We thought we had a cat that was rescued from Wag's N Wiskers off Craigslist. Megan said bring the kitty in and she would see if she was chipped or spayed. The kitty was not. Megan offered to give our new kitty her shots and chip her which they did. The office had many beautiful cats and you could not tell. It was immaculate in the office...no smells or odors. The walls were covered with cat rooms on the walls, super cool. They really are informative and love what they do. Thanks Megan!!

While in the process of adopting two kittens from wags N whiskers, I specifically asked if any of the kittens in the room (they keep all the cats in one big room where they are all in contact with each other) we’re sick. They lady told me no and that they were up to date on their vaccines. I brought them home and within two days they broke out into fevers and were sneezing often. I took them to the vet that is connected to wags n whiskers where she told me they have a respiratory illness and that they had tape worms. And that they WERENT up to date on their vaccines which I then had to pay for the rest of them! After getting meds I went home where within another week one of the kittens got an eye infection where I then had to go to the vet AGAIN. I got meds for that and then within another week they both broke out in a rash so I had to take them to the vet AGAIN! She then proceeds to tell me they have ringworm. I don’t have any other animals at home prior to this so I knew they got it from wags n whiskers. Since fungus grows slowly, the lesions didn’t appear until a month after I got them. The adoption fee was $250 dollars for EACH kitten. So $500 total and then I spent about another $600 at the vet due to all their illnesses. And this doesn’t include the cost of food and toys. I’m really disappointed because my kittens are great and I wouldn’t change them for the world but it hurts to watch them in pain and knowing the other kittens there are all going through the same thing.

I called to get more information and a very rude woman with attitude answered the phone. She was quick making assumptions and to insult me and tell me to handel my own dogs. How is someone this rude operating such a sensitive service? I've heard terrible things about this place but unfortunately I experienced it for myself

I once saw a dying dog who was covered in flys and this is not a rescue or good Organization. They profit off the poor puppy’s and animals that they don’t care for properly not all the staff are bad but I would never come here again they should be shut down, for mistreatment of animals!!!

I found the staff to be rude and unprofessional. The dog we went to see appeared to be fearful and underweight. The person in charge was rude and condescending. She and another staff member were in disagreement regarding the health of the dog. One person thought she had a heart murmur and was possibly pregnant, but the other person said the dog didn’t have a murmur and was spayed. I didn’t know what to believe. When I told them it might be too soon for us to adopt because it had only been three weeks since the passing of our dog, they tried to guilt us into taking this possibly sick, pregnant dog. Furthermore, the conditions of the place were poor. I was disappointed and disillusioned in this organization, I won’t be returning.

This place is an absolute joke my girlfriend paid $225 for a kitten that was supposed to have a clean bill of health right? Nope it was infested with ringworm and has caused us a bunch of issues and when she called they were extremely rude when asking for a refund. If I could give 0 stars I would this place needs to be shut down they don’t care about the animals only the money. Makes sense why they are charging a $225 fee to adopt a kitten that is supposed to have a clean bill of health. COWARDS

Please don't adopt from this agency! Read the reviews. They are basically a puppy mill with a front of being a rescue. When I spoke to Lucy about my puppy's messed up vaccination record, she cussed me out and proceeded to scream at me as I was walking away.

Kennel cough with one dog was not isolated from other dogs. I was told one price from one person on a dog, then another price from someone else. Having to fill out an application for a dog, giving references and landlords information, I got approved without anyone being called. Why fill out the application??

Do not adopt from here! So overpriced and they treat the animals horribly. I adopted a kitten from here who was sick with ringworm and they did not tell me that when I was adopting her. My friends also adopted two kittens from here and they were so sick with ringworm and fevers. I called to complain that they let us adopt sick kittens and all the lady said was "why did you not take her to our vet for free?" in a rude tone. The lady also responded with passive aggressive questions whenever I tried to talk. I talked to multiple different vets and they were all hesitant and not happy that I said my kitten was from Wags and Whiskers, which shows how bad this organization is. This is a terrible organization that only cares about the money and not the health of their animals. I feel so bad for all these animals. Please do not support or adopt from here!!

We adopted a super sweet kitten here, it's obvious that the shelter takes great care of the animals by how comfortable they are with people. Thanks again Angel for helping us!

I had a good experience with them, considering how much vet costs are and to have it included was worth it.

Staff was extremely rude. They were unwilling to answer simple questions and were very accusatory. I was given a malnourished puppy that when taken to the vet was found to be underweight, had kennel cough, and had intestinal parasites. It cost me a substantial amount to get the puppy healthy. The staff refused to acknowledge they were at fault or reimburse me for any costs despite my taking the puppy to the vet the same day I got her. They told me if I was unhappy then to drop her off but they would not be offering me any sort of reimbursement. The vet told me had I not brought her in she would have died within the week! Why would I bring her back to such a horrific place?! My vet was willing to write a letter confirming the “rescue” was at fault for the poor health of the puppy. It took two months to get her healthy! Be forewarned! Do NOT adopt from these people! They do not properly care for their animals and are extremely unprofessional on all levels!

Rescuing a pet is always a good thing to do if you can. And finding a new family member is always a special occasion. These people do good work and deserve to be treated well, just like the pets they help save. I found the perfect dog for my daughter and my family.

I took my cat in to the mobile clinic. She was there a long time they didn't know what was wrong with her and gave me antibiotics and said if she's not better in 7 days to bring her back. On day 3 she is worse and I called the clinic and they told me to take her somewhere else they think it's her heart. It's not on that they billed me 50.00 for antibiotics that will do her no good and to not tell me that it may be her heart on the day of her visit. Avoid this vet!

A mix pitbull puppy rescue that had kennel cough, 100% hip dysplasia (found out after) both sides all for $600. Fixed at 8 weeks knowing damn well she was very ill. I'll never step foot in there again to say the very least.

I had to take my fur baby in for care. He’s not the friendliest of little guys but they handled him exceptionally well. They helped make a stressful situation less stressful. I would definitely use them again!
