Club K9 Castro Valley, California

I've been going to Club K9 for 16+ years for both daycare and boarding and recommend them highly.

Our medium sized goldendoodle goes to Club K-9 almost everyday for the last 5 months. With all-day play, he comes home tired and happy. We love that he is known by name and is well-cared for. It's also great to have curbside drop-off. Our dog has boarded there at least 4 days each month. We're on the unlimited daycare plan and appreciate the free baths that Club K-9 offers.

I have been bringing my two chihuahuas to Club K-9 in San Ramon since moving to the Bay Area in 2018 and cannot recommend them highly enough. I do not need to worry about my boys when they are there. I can go away for days knowing they are having more fun at daycare than they ever do at home. Whenever we pass under the 580 on the way to daycare, one of my dogs gets the widest grin on his face because he knows exactly where we are headed. ????

We were flying out of town for the holiday and couldn't take our 1 year old puppy. We found Club K9 and scheduled an introduction date for him. He hadn't had a lot of interaction with other dogs up until this point. I was a little worried he might not do well. I was very impressed with the staff at Club K9, very professional but at the same time, very friendly and welcoming. The visit went great and we confirmed his week long stay. Over the stay we were encouraged to call and check on our pup, which I did every other day. The staff was ready with detailed updates on how he was doing. It was very reassuring. The pick up and drop offs were also very effiicient. A well oiled machine! At the end of his stay, I could tell he had a great time with all the other pups.....I would highly recommend Club K9 for not only boarding but also for daycare. In fact, I will be taking our boy for a daycare soon as he had such a good experience.

We couldn’t be happier with Club K9. We trust them whole heartedly to care for our babies. They hold themselves to the highest standards and it shows. Each and every staff member is wonderful and treats our dogs like their own. The facility is beautiful and kept in immaculate condition. Our dogs never want to leave. Best facility in the Bay Area, we have tried multiple!

I have a 3+year old golden retriever, Zelda, who get very excited when I tell her she’s going to play with the puppies. She is so happy at Club K9! Sometimes I think she’s rather be there than be home with me. As a dog owner, and a woman who can be very busy in her business and personal life, it’s a comfort to know I can drop Zelda off and know she will be safe, happy and engaged at the times I can’t be with her. Thank you Club K9 for making me a better dog mom.

We love Club K9 and so does our dog. The drop offs and pick ups are always fast and easy which is helpful because we are usually heading out of town. The facility is big and clean and the staff are wonderful. We always get detailed reports and have peace of mind when we are away. I would highly recommend them as we have been so pleased.

We have three dogs and have been going to Club K9 for over 10 years. Our dogs love going to their Day Care on a regular basis and occasionally overnights. Can't say enough good things about them and their services.

I was referred to Club K9 by a co-worker after I received my new boxer puppy in March of 2020. Once he received his puppy shots and could go out in public I took him to the Club to run and play. On his very first day, when I went to pick him up, he jumped out of the passenger window and went right back to the door. He did not want to leave! It has been this way for the past 1-1/2 years. The staff treats each and every dog as if they are their own pet and it shows in the behavior of the pets. I am sure every single dog believes that they are a "favorite" . And believe me they are!! I have boarded my puppy more than once for overnight stays just so he can spend more time playing with other dogs and also when I have had to go out of town. He comes home happy and clean! Yes - for long stays the pets do receive a nice fresh bath so when they are returned they are as clean as can be. I don't know what my life would be like without Club K9. I live in a one-bedroom apartment and this facility has given my wonderful dog the best place to run and play and doggy socialize. And it is true that do socialize. My guy does have a favorite and I am told he is very excited when that dog is at the Club on the same day! You can't beat the price of leaving your pet at 7am and picking up at 7pm for only $40. My pup knows when we are on our way to the Club. He can smell it in the air. I am now careful to keep my windows rolled up to wait for the staff to come to the car and take him away for a fun day of play!

Club K9 can always be trusted with my pup! They have excellent staff, service, and facilities!

An incredible doggy day care!! The staff is outstanding and extremely friendly. The play yards are very clean with plenty of space for running around. The price is reasonable and provides value that I’d have to pay up for at other places. Highly recommend Club K9!!

We have been bringing Echo to Club K9 for playdates and for overnight stays. They are AWESOME! Really professional staff - many have been with club k-9 for 10+ years. This is a great play for day care or long term care - we love them!

Dropped my two large dogs off for their evaluation visit. Both dogs had a great time and they came home pooped!! I was impressed with their facility and the people working there are experienced with all types of dogs. Great place to drop your dogs off for doggy daycare or leaving them when you're out of town.

Our Rocket gets so excited in the car when he realizes he’s going to daycare. Staff is beyond wonderful.

We took our two year old Scottie to Club K9 for two nights in May 2021. She came home with an eye infection witch cost us $171 and is now vomiting foamy clear liquid.We. took our other dogs there many times in the past without incident. I suspect the Covid era caused a decline in their business and resulted in lower standards.

Superior customer (human and dog) service! My grandpuppy has so much fun here at day care. The staff is so cool here; they send pictures during the day if our Clam does something especially cute! Love love love Club K9!

By far the best fur-baby care in the region. Staff are super sweet and helpful, happy and kind. Most important, they love LOVE and take the best care of the doggos!!! Searching for good, intelligent and attentive dog care can similarly be compared to finding the right preschool for your toddler. I want the security and confidence of knowing I can trust the integrity of an establishment to pay attention and play with my pup safely. I've been to other places where dogs can be seen just nervously swirling in pods, which I don't think is healthy and is also just an accident waiting to happen. At club K9 I know she is in great hands, will have an amazing time and be exhausted when she comes home. Worth the stay every time LOVE this place and you will too!

I LOVE Club k9! Their prices are amazing and they have so much space for the dogs to play and enjoy their time together. It makes me happy to know that my dog Daisy will enjoy herself and make new friends when I have to go out of town.

Our dog Mai Tai has gone several times over the last few years and she actually looks forward to going. We feel she is treated well.

We used the complementary day care for our two dogs to get a sense of ClubK9 for both day care and boarding. They were so responsive and professional at every step and really care about our dogs, ensuring they will be a good fit and vice versa. Our dogs were so happy when we picked them up and we are looking forward to using them regularly for doggie day care and boarding. I like that they have separate, supervised play areas for dogs based on size, age and play style, and the monitors can help foster positive play and give breaks or separation if needed or move dogs around to a different play area, if needed depending on the make up/fit of the dogs in that section. The outdoors grounds are large and nice. They do a thorough intake to get to know our dogs and I feel very comfortable bringing our two dogs here.

I'm so happy I found Club K9! I finally found a place where I can board my dog and feel good about it.

We love the staff at Club K9 and know that our furry family member has the BEST time there each day. We trust that he gets the best care, treatment, and has a lot of fun. We've brought him there for daily daycare as well as boarding and the experience is ALWAYS consistently amazing!

I love this doggy daycare which is really more like a doggy camp. My dog has stayed here overnight a few times and well we think at least he loved it! He came home happy and pretty tired from all the playing. We just wish though that they don't put them in the kennel that long (from 6 pm to 6 am I believe).

Club K9 is the best! Great staff! Easy drop off! My Husky loves it there! Lots of beautiful outdoor space to run in! Very clean! They are top notch!

Our Springer Spaniel Mac is head over heals with joy every time he knows he is heading out to Club K-9 for a doggie vacation while his humans are traveling. We are totally comfortable leaving him at K-9 for several weeks. We know (and he tells us in his own way) that he is well cared for in all respects. Highly recommended!

Bayou loves Club K9! First, the staff are all friendly, attentive and really get to know and care for your pet. Drop off and pick up is easy - including for boarding. They have it all well organized so you can check-in and out quickly. They can even provide their own food and baths. The best part is that your pet spends the day outdoors getting exercise and playing with other dogs. Whether you are doing daycare or boarding, your pet is outside having fun. There is no complex pricing scheme. Bayou comes home tired and ready for a good sleep and looking forward to his next Club K9 visit!

Amazing staff, caring and loving, and individuals who truly love dogs. The facility is exceptional, it is like Club Med for dogs!

I have been using Club K9 since they opened we started with our Aussie Andy, and after he passed we got two more aussies and they have been going there since they we 8 mos old and they are now 3. they are always happy to go in and happy when they come home, the handlers and staff are great, I always recommend them to other dog owners.
