This is THE best place to take your dog to!!! My dog Sabrina just spent five days there . Linda ( the owner ) is so kind and courteous and very professional. Her staff is very helpful and professional to. I’ve toured several so called shelters to take my dog to and Castaic Canine Camp are the best hands down. I will NOT take my doggie anywhere else!

If I could do negative stars I would.. they are not nice to your dogs when you leave them here! They have teenagers working here that are on drugs yet the owner has yet to do anything about it. Very very UNSAFE and UNCLEAN environment! I would not recommend taking you dogs here! My dog was scared after I picked her up and is flinching at every move we make and she was not like that when we dropped her off! Something needs to change or they need to be shut down!!

I absolutely love linda and the canine camp staff. My dogs go there for day care weekly and for boarding. I treat my dogs as my children and only give them the best things in life, and castaic canine camp is the ONLY place i trust to take …

I’ve been taking my dog Holly here for 8 years. She’s a boxer pit mix who is very social. She loves the entire staff and gets excited everyone I say “do you want to go to camp”. Sometimes she’s there just for a quick weekend trip sometime she says for 3 weeks. Every time she comes home happy and tired from all the play time. She sleeps for days after coming home. I wouldn’t take her anywhere else.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I take my dogs here just about every day and they love it too! I have a german shepherd thats about 9 months old and when i first got her i found it really hard to keep up with her. I work 6 days a week and i never really had much time to work with her and train her properly. And we all know how stressful and hard a puppy can be if it doesnt have anywhere to get its energy out. Especially the training part. From the first day i started taking my shepherd here i could see big changes. From the moment i picked her up i saw that she was covered in dirt and looked happier than ever. My first thought was “she looks like she had a blast here!” Which put a huge smile on my face. She got in the car and instantly passed out. When we got home i sat her down and started my daily training with her. This time compared to my other times training with her i found to be a million times easier. She listened to every command wheras every other time she would always be distracted and i could never get her to sit still. Not this time though. I was so happy with her. Ever since then i have been bringing her back like i said, just about every day. And every single day she has been getting way better. I am very glad that i started bringing her here. I have another dog that is a small chihuahua mix that i had adopted when he was about a year and a half from a breeder where he spent the first year and a half of his life with multiple puppy brothers and sisters. When i took him from that i feel like it really did a number on him. Ever since ive had him he has always been a REALLY shy dog. Always looking depressed no matter the countless amount of things i tried. It broke my heart to see him sad all the time. When i started taking him here at first he didnt really didnt care to socialize with the other dogs at all. I thought “this probably isnt going to work any better than the rest of the things ive tried.”. First day passed and i didnt really much of a change. I figured he was just glad to go home more than anything lol. Regardless, i took him back the next day to try again. When i had come to take him home, little would i have guessed i saw him playing with a couple of the other little dogs. All chasing each other back and forth, stopping, and getting down on their two front legs just to start it all over again. This place has been nothing but the best for me and my dogs. Everything about this place is amazing. I cant write enough about how much this place has been good for my children and i. The staff here is excellent 10/10. Linda the manager is someone who i know has nothing but the upmost love and support for all the dogs who stay here. I am 200% sure that this is the best place for me, my dogs, and anybody else who brings their dogs here.

Our boy has been going to Castaic Canine Camp for over 4 1/2 years. He started there at about 10 or 12 weeks old. Linda and her staff have always treated him like he was one of their pets. He gets the socialization and exercise he needs. He loves his days at Camp and has bonded so well with Linda and her staff. I couldn't recommend Castaic Canine Camp more vigorously. They've been a huge part of our boy's life and ours, too.

In the beginning we didn't feel comfortable with leaving our puppy here but after speaking with a young man that works there we are comfortable leaving our pup there and he fixed the issue that had occurred in the past!

I left my dog here for three weeks. When I picked her up she had lost a lot of weight and seemed sad.... What was concerning to me was her stomach. Her stomach was burnt, blistered and bright red. She had scabbing and signs of puss. I don't even want to know what kind of conditions these people had my dog in. I would not recommend taking your dog here unless you want them to burn up outside in the heat! Absolutely disgusted.

Love this place. Linda and staff provide the best customer service at a very reasonable price. My Husky enjoys his time spent at camp.

Don't bring your dogs here if you love them!!! We had to go out of town short notice for a family illness. I left her with 3 dogs. One is 12 plus and has always hated other dogs - he's 6 lbs. I was assured he wouldn't be thrown in the general population. She promised to keep my dogs together in their own outside area. When I arrived my two little ones were in a pen with about 30 other dogs. He is now limping!! My other little dog lost weight, but appeared fine. My 8 month old border collie whose a happy loving dog wouldn't even walk to the car, she is filthy and was thrown out in a field with two other husky mixes. She was clearly left out all week!!! She has a dog biteon her inner thigh, fur matting ( she was groomed before she went!), and her feet have compacted clay, like if she got wet and had nowhere else to stand. She's so unhappy!!! The owner didn't care when I was voicing my concerns. Tried to tell me that was from playtime outside. It wasn't she plays outside every day all day and this never happens. Update: Got my dog home, gave her a bath, she will not play her favorite game - tennis ball fetch. All she wants to do is lay down. She has cuts and sores on all 4 paws on her pads. Please don’t take your dogs here!! She said da great in the phone but what she says and how your dog will be cared for are very different!! Photos on YELP!

Brought my pupper, Wilhelm, in for a week while I was out whale hunting in Japan. Boy they really know how to treat your dogo with the utmost care and respect. I came back and he was even able to do a barrel roll upon command! 5Stars!

I would give more then 5 stars if I could! I've been bringing my Malamute to Castaic Canine camp since he was a puppy 8 years ago. I recently had a housing situation where my dog was not allowed. I had many people offer to take care of him but he's quite large at 100+Lbs and very active. There was nobody I could trust more then Castaic Canine Camp. I dropped him off thinking I would pick him up in 1 to 2 weeks after I find a place. That 1 to 2 weeks ended up being 2 months! Not only did Castaic Canine Camp take care of him like no one else could but also gave me peace of mind that he was always being taken care of. Owner Linda is absolutely amazing and her Staff is always friendly and professional. I now have my dog back and am a customer for life!

A great place to board your dog. Linda and her staff offer a spacious and very clean place. Never stinks! Very attentive. Dogs are boarded based on their needs; they're not just put in cages/kennels like other places I've seen. She even …
