Each visit is more and more disappointing. I have never had a bad experience with the Drs, but the organization and the scheduling is a nightmare. I will be moving to a new practice.

Everyone was very polite and knowledgable of their job. The food was great.

Fast and great care by all nurses and staff.

Too busy hard to get in. But the only place close to South Lake Tahoe open after 5pm or weekends.

I had to bring my cat in because she wasn't eating, drinking or using the bathroom. Naturally I was anxious and very worried about her. Even though they were busy, they were able to see her very quickly and made the whole process easy and as stress free as possible. They communicated everything they were doing, they were detailed in explaining the costs and their CareCredit options, and they were incredibly good with a very skittish cat. It ended up being nothing major. Over the several hours we were there, the entire staff was friendly and warm. Overall it was a good experience and I wouldn't go anywhere else for my pet's emergencies in the future. I really appreciate them and everything they do.

This is a very busy place and parking is challenging. The staff seemed very friendly and caring. This was Buddy's first visit but I'm sure it won't be his last.

Overpriced , I went to Choices Vet in Reno and they charged me only $60 compared to Carson Tahoe vet wanted $700! I’m not upset though because Carson Tahoe vet is 24 hour

People here were kind and caring about me and my dog.

Highly recommend!! Extremely compassionate, and professional. Was there this weekend for my injured pup, did have to wait 1.5 hours before being seen but I didn’t mind waiting, especially since they were extremely busy and the staff members kept me updated. I find comfort in knowing they triage appropriately.. if I ever were to come in and my pup was in a true life emergency, he would be seen right away. There were others that went before me, that got there after me, but they were in much worse shape. My regular vet couldn’t see him for 2 weeks and I needed him to be helped before then. There was another lady with her pet there screaming at one of the staff members about the wait (while her dog was hanging out the window looking completely fine) and was being extremely rude to her... but the staff member kept her composure and was professional during the whole thing. 10/10 recommend. Thank you for helping my pup!

They never returned my call. They are not a 24 hr.survice. very disappointed when my dog was so sick

It was 8:00 in the evening and my parents 24 year old cat was rapidly declining. They knew it was time to euthanize. We called Carson Tahoe vet to let them know we were on our way over. Missi was very compassionate over the phone. We got there and didn’t wait long in the parking lot before they called to tell us they had a room ready for us. The room was very comfortable and inviting. They took Nermal to the treatment room to place a catheter and give a sedative which didn’t take very long. The whole procedure went smoothly and the vet was so kind and very professional. Definitely recommend this place. The whole experience was painless and all the staff was great!

Our sweet old boy, Gizmo died on a Saturday. They had emergencies yet still were able to talk to us and take Gizmo in. We got his ashes back 6 days later with a special touch. Very kind, very compassionate.

While they were very busy when I brought my dog in for an emergency visit, they took good care of him and delivered a good outcome. All contact with staff happens outside the front door, (Covid precautions continue to linger), but they were kind and compassionate. With my pup hospitalized overnight, it was nice to be able to reach a staff member at 2 am to follow up on a current status.

They where very nice had to put down a very special dog today and they where very professional and some compasion thank you

They are the best! Not only knowlegable, professional vet treatment but they truly care about our family pets by showing them love, compassion and tenderness.

Horrible never had to have a dog sedated to remove a wrap after a couple stitches, not lightly sedated sedated to the point where he couldn’t even walk just to remove a bandage. Rip off

They are always open. My animals like weekends, and super early or late for their stitches. The Staff is also very professional.

great place to bring you pets , after having to have our old dog put to sleep they were so nice, put us in a room that had a couch, doggie bed.. and helped us through a trying time.. after we did the cremation we received our dog back in a beautiful copper urn we picked out in less then a week...Thank You again everyone Carson Tahoe Veterinary Hospital ...you made a difficult situation a little easier..????

Easy to find on carson street

There isnt any words that can explain my appreciation for doctor Lewis and her staff. I took my chihuahua there late Sunday evening. I would tell everyone that she was a miniature yellow lab because thats what siri would tell me.. but anyways my dog Spooky was doing a lot of crying and had a dry nose and wasn't drinking or eating so i took her down there and they figured out that my baby Spooky had a blockage in her stomach and said she was going to need surgery immediately or she wasn't gonna make it. But before surgery they give me a consent form stating if something were to happen during surgery what should be done. Green, yellow and red.. green was do Whatever you can to revive the dog and red was do not do anything and because I really really struggled to get the money together to do the surgery I put red and it broke my heart but I had already sold off everything I owned just for them to start the surgery..but I was devastated and crying my heart out in the parking praying that my baby Spooky made it. So they did start the surgery and the unthinkable happened and Spooky died for a moment but regardless Dr Lewis did whatever she could to bring spooky back. Thanks again Dr Lewis .
