I had to post this wonderful experience when dealing with a stressful situation. Obviously, if you are going here you have a fur baby like myself. We were struggling to find a doctors office who were able to squeeze us in the same day, which we felt was necessary because our pups eyes rapidly got a inflection and his normal vet had no appointments for several days. We called around to no avail until another vets office suggested this practice. So I called. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We were able to register as a new patient and be seen in a hours time. We are so grateful ????. Next upon arrival we text our place in parking and someone with a great disposition contacted me by phone. It is always great to have a compassionate person who listens to your concerns without abruptness and rushing when addressing a concern. Then there is the Vet, I have to say, we felt so good about the interaction and detailed information, as well as the time spent for our thorough understanding, we plan to switch care for our fur baby to this practice. Great staff, great service, and looking forward to the quality care this practice provides. Thank you for taking great care of my fur baby to all the staff

We've been going to Dr. Mohr for 15 years, and she has provided outstanding medical care and compassion for our dogs and cat. She always thoroughly explains the issues and treatment options, in practical terms which are easy to understand. She is always abreast of current clinical practice and medicine. I wouldn't think of trusting anyone else for the care of our companions. The front desk women are the best there are for efficiency and compassion.

We love Dr. Nicki and the staff here! I have been taking my pets here for over 10 years! Respectful and friendly staff who genuinely care about fur babies and their humans!

Excellent vet care. The meds are way expensive. If that matters to you make sure you ask about the cost when it's prescribed. Otherwise great hours, skilled vets.

Dr. Bosse is an absolute angel. My aussie Hashbrown snapped a canine and he extracted it. He was professional, compassionate and informative. Highly recommend this vet for any emergency surgery your pet may need.

I came here because they had better availability for an urgent need than my regular vet. I received very professional, compassionate, skilled and timely service from each person I spoke to. If you have tried to get veterinary help during this pandemic, you know that they are impacted and it is hard to find availability. I like my regular vet, but service this good and with hours so extended, I’d seriously consider if looking for a new vet. They weren’t cheap, but this is the Bay Area and you often get way less than you pay for. I felt they earned their fees. By the way, they sent me a survey and asked me to leave a review on Google, but the link took me to a Pacific and Santa Cruz Veterinary Hospital, which I detest. I actually left a positive review on their page by accident instead of this one. I have deleted it and put it here now, but I wonder if some of the reviews over there are actually for this place.

I am so thankful for people and places like this family and friends have the same comments through word of mouth as well. What they do truly brings something special to the world of pet owners there for you because this is what they do all day long and especially shout out to Nicole Burns thank you. I can’t believe the efficiency and kindness 24/7 hours of operation is un heard of and hard to understand if you don’t work hours like that. 6 STARS SHOULD BE AN OPTION ⭐️

Wonderful place with great vets. My regular vet is Dr Tammy Abraham and I love her. She always explains things clearly with all options of treatment. She was gentle and caring with my cat. I've also seen Dr Blake Douglas and he is equally as wonderful explaining things clearly. I really value when they take the time tell me exactly what's going on in ways I can understand. The vet techs and front desk people are also great. Always cheerful and helpful. On top of that all they are reasonably priced. Much less expensive than a vet I had gone to previously. Highly recommend them!

I had another vet before being recommended to SC Vet Hospital and I wasn't very happy. I am a new dog mom and didn't know much about what to do at all. SC Vet Hospital spends as much time as I need to talk after the visits and they answer every question. AND they call the next day checking on my fur baby. You can definitely tell they care about animals and I couldn't be more happy they are taking care of us.

This animal hospital helped my poodle mix for years. I felt in very good hands. When it came time to euthanize my beloved Oliver, it was as good as an experience as it could have been. I also experienced high quality phone care during covid times. Especially from the gentleman at the front desk. He is exceptional! I will be bringing my new puppy there ! Thank you ❤️

All my concerns were professionally answered while on the phone. The staff's helpful knowledge of fur balls PopRock vomited deterred me from bringing him in to be seen.

Dr. Kable treated my labrador for a stubborn interdigital cyst. He also fixed her yeasty ear problem for free that she has had since she was a puppy that her previous vet doctors could not fix. He provides excellent communication and advice and calls to check in on your pets after they have an issue or if you call with a concern. He has provided airline travel certificates for my dog and cat and went above and beyond to help get them to us in time for our flight despite a delay from Aphis that was out of his control. My dog actually runs to the door to the garage when I bring her back from the vet to ask to go back!

We just had a great visit to SC Vet Hospital. They are all so kind and responsive to questions/concerns. My dog went in with his tail wagging & came out not minding the shot he got at all.

Dr Nicola Mohr DVM ,continues to be a shining light for the best in Santa Cruz Veterinary Care , at the SC Vet Hospital in Capitola. My 4 year old Boxer /Pit mix is NEVER easy for anyone to handle ,and I always worry ,when he needs Vet care. Dr Mohr is an amazing ,and talented Dog whisperer, with Rocky. Of course we use the muzzle ,and just a bit of relaxation medicine prior to his visit ,but without major Tranquilization ,that I always think will be necessary , she was able to examine him top to bottom, and do the impossible things like trim inner ear hair ,that was causing him to shake his head often ,and quickly get all of his vaccines in ,before he knew what was happening. Dr Mohr and her staff ,know and respect different dog personalities ,so it becomes a positive visit for the dog. They love Rocky ,almost as much as I do ,and for that I will be ever grateful. Thanks Dr Mohr ...Every Dog owner in Santa Cruz needs a fantastic Vet like you !

I have been a client of Santa Cruz Veterinary Hospital for many years. Lately, I am visiting with a cat who is under the care of Dr. Mohr. I have found her to be extremely level-headed and respectful. She has struck that balance of addressing my concerns for my cat without over-treating my cat. She has addressed my questions, and has made herself available for further questions.

Very organized and great service. My appointment went so smoothly. The Doctor was so pleasant when she called me back. Dr. Abraham is the best and so very caring. The technicians were fantastic as well. My dog is in great hands.

I have been coming to them from Monterey for 25 years with all our dogs for all different conditions. They are the best.

My pup is almost 14 and wasn’t BBC feeling too well. 3 other local vets couldn’t fit her in but these guys did. They were super efficient given the Covid situation and were open and honest about my dog’s situation. She’s fine btw! It even felt reasonably priced. All are super kind.
