I have been to this veterinary hospital twice when my regular veterinarian was unavailable. Both times I was treated with genuine care and professionalism from the front staff, veterinary technical team and veterinarian (Dr. Hoppe). This last visit was to say good-bye to my beloved dog. They were willing to find time for me in their busy schedule and were compassionate through out the entire procedure despite my dog not being a regular patient. Many thanks to Dr. Hoppe and her team for making a painful decision bearable and my dog's last moments peaceful. I would highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Hoppe to anyone who lives in the area.

I met Dr West at Blue Pearl, in Daly City. He handled the passing of my 5 month kitten we had since 4weeks. We had taken her to several vets, and got quite a run around and some did procedures that didn’t need to be done.. Dr West was up front, open, and honest about everything the entire time. He explained every major and minor detail, and broke it down in layman’s terms after giving the industry jargon. While he was unable to save our dear pet, it was clear this man cares for animals, and cares about his patients like no vet we have encountered before. We decided to follow him to this clinic, even though it’s 4X the distance from our usual vet. Having him by our side during any issues is worth the travel time. We have so much faith and trust in him, and the way he handles his patients and visits. Highly recommended! Plus the staff here are all very nice and just as thorough as him :)

Words can not express how thankful i am for the doctors and staff at this pet hospital. Today was one of the hardest days of my life. I had to put my dog to sleep and I could not done it anywhere eles. First time at this pet hospital and The doctor and staff made me feel so comfortable during my heart break. They were very professional, caring and helpful and so much more. Thank you for helping me get through this day. You are all angels there. you don't know how much you helped me. Thank you so much.

I am so grateful to Burlingame Family Pet Hospital, and especially Dr. West and team. We had to say goodbye to my beloved cat on Friday, my best bud of 8 years. Unlike so many other vets I have been to over the years, I actually felt as though I was armed with information, aware of what options were on the table, and despite being the choice I have always dreaded making, I now feel like I did the right thing for my boy. I couldn't have navigated this without Dr. West and am endlessly grateful for the amount of compassion he showed during this difficult time. We will look forward to bringing new pets here someday when we are ready. I wish we had found this vet sooner.

My kitten has been suffering from URIs most of his life and the vet I had been going to had continually gave me the same meds even when I told him them that they were not helping my kitten. So I asked my best friend where he takes his dogs and he recommended Burlingame Family Pet Hospital. My kitten, Shorty, receiving great care and medicine that has actually helped him. He's more playful and his symptoms are not as severe. Definitely will recommend to other pet parents!

New vet has joined the practice as an owner. She was a delight to talk to, while dealing with a very seriously sick dog. As the original owner retires, the office is going to be in very capable hands.

Tiffany and staff are wonderful. We took our dog here as a recommendation from O'Brien Animal Transport in the process if shipping our pup to New Zealand and couldn't be happier. They are prompt, efficient and extremely knowledgeable.

Dr. Merrill is an extremely honest and thorough vet. My animals have been coming here for over 20 years. He is brutally honest with diagnosis. That's what I like about him. Sometimes it good to hear the truth and not have everything sugar coated. His prices are also very reasonable.

The vet was ok and some of the staff were nice. But the place and specially reception area had a terrible odor of being filthy. The exam room was old and did not feel clean either.

If you want your pet taken care of this is the place to go. Everyone cares about your pet. They explain everything that is going on with your baby.

Disappointed that patrons waiting on their dog cannot use the restroom at their business.

We have taken our god here a couple times. The doctor here is very nice, we really like him!

Service is sub par. Go to Sage nextdoor instead. My wife took my dog, but I had to call to see if my dog was ready to go home, even though they said they would call. They said he was ready, but I waited almost an hour to get him, despite no emergency patients coming in and the report they sent to my vet was incomplete. They also didn't have the simple eye drops that they recommended for my dogs apparent dry eye, and when I went to the vet to get it, I had to pay for a comsult, and my vet did a test that revealed my dig didn't have dry eyes at all, but just sleeps with his eyes partially opened, which isnt solved with drops. Goto Sage next door instead. It is phenomenal.

They are the only ones that I trust my dogs with. Helpful staff and has wonderful staff.
