No wait, vet was very communicative. Rates seemed standard.

Excellent team. Provided a same day appointment and were thorough and timely. Not to mention their fees extremely reasonable.

My dog had a double ear infection and skin infection. Besides a 5 hour wait, the vet was very thorough about explaining what was being prescribed and why. The rates were pretty standard for an animal urgent care center and not too outrageous.

Definitely the worst place to take your pet too. One of the vets that walked out was so rude I didn't trust her to take my dog in for 4 hours and I go home and wait until they ready for me to come back . Also they don't tell u price they say it after and don't give ur pet until you pay. And guess what over hundreds of dollars for a creme and examination lmfao what a joke

I brought my dog in for a partially broken dew claw last week because I didn't feel comfortable cutting it off completely by myself though it had stopped bleeding and was already 1/2 way torn off. This happened once before, and I took him to Banfield to get the rest of the broken nail clipped off (it was broken at around the same depth), and it was quick, easy, and painless according to the vet there. I was surprised that on this occasion, the vet called me while I waited in my car to tell me that he needed to administer local anesthesia, for which I incurred a heftier bill. Understandable though, I thought. Two days after I got home with my dog still limping and seeming down and in pain, I unwrapped the dressing in order to change it and saw that there was a raw bald patch of skin adjacent to where the broken dew claw was that wasn't there before I brought my dog in. The broken dew claw was not bleeding at all, and in fact looked completely healed. Rather, it was the nick that was about 1/4" in diameter–basically exposed flesh that was bleeding and oozing and causing my dog an immense amount of discomfort (as I could tell from his continual licking of the dressed wound). He's still recovering and I am so upset and disappointed that this happened. I get that mistakes happen, but be honest to your patients and their family. This was a horrible mistake by the vet who tried to just cover it up. DO BETTER.

Love the fact we could get right in. Had to drive 45 mins as they were the only vet willing to see our dog. Vet hospitals said they were too busy. Vets said they were almost 2 months out. We were seen within 20 mins of visiting animal urgent care without an appointment. Prices were average. Care seamed above average. All friendly people and our dog who hates the vet seamed comfortable. If there is any future need to go back this is the first place we will try. 45 mins away or not.

I felt compelled to write a positive review for I believe God blessed me with Dr. Linney. I've dealt with Vets for over 20 years and only came to this location due to an emergency as my primary vet was closed. The staff was so welcoming and comforting. Dr. Linney was by far the most knowledgeable Vet I've ever encountered and his ability to articulate the prognosis was amazing. He provided me with a thorough explanation as to what's happening with my little guy and my options. Unfortunately, with all his underlining conditions at his age, it was best to let him go so he can be at peace and no longer in pain. Dr. Linney helped in so many ways I can't thank him enough. He was so compassionate and professional. Moving forward, I will utilize his expertise and comfort for all my dogs in the future. Thank you for comforting me during such a hard time and helping my dog in so many ways. God bless!

Turned me away, after I was sent there from another vet (w/out even viewing my cat) telling me they were full. Only have them 2 stars because when I asked where else should I go, the woman brought a paper with several referrals. Very distressing & time consuming going from place to place. Starting in Hollywood & ending in Pasadena finally 4 hours later.???????????????? My best advice, buy the best pet insurance you can afford when your pet is young.???????? Thereby saving money as they get older. Ask at your work if they have a pet insurance plan, this can be much more beneficial! I wish you very Good Luck!????

Out of all the urgent Care/ 24hr hospitals I called or visited this place by far sets a standard. First time I've left after a pet emergency and felt comfortable with the outcome. Doctor educated me and took time with my dog. Definitely recommend before going somewhere else

Brought my two kittens here last night after a terrible experience over at Banfield, Dr. was very knowledgeable, and found the best course of action to treat my baby's very badly injured tail and referring me to a few surgeons who can aid in follow up care. She is now much more comfortable and on a better path to recovery, I definitely recommend this vet, you may have to wait a while, but that's just what happens at an urgent care. If you have a pet needing urgent care I highly recommend this Vet.

This place has a bunch of shyster thieves. They tried to change 1500 worth of testing for a kitten that had a sniffle. They take advantage of young new cat owners. They are the worst horrible people, do not take your pet there.

Went for sick puppy with runny stool. Completely useless. Even though we were there before they opened and signed in like we were supposed to, we were refused service because they were "filled".

Our pup.had a nasty eye infection and within 30 minutes of arriving, she was checked in and inside. Vet called us to discuss diagnosis and treatment. We agreed and.she was treated. We picked her.up within 3 hours with meds. She is SO much better. Thanks to Animal Urgent Care!!

So thankful I founded this place for my 11 years old cat that was really sick. Best veterinarians and less expensive compare to other urgent care places. It Cost $838 for visit, xray, bloodwork, hydration and an injection for nausea. I was quoted $2700 with TrueCare for pets one day before for the same services. I give 5 stars to Animal urgent care vets and staff! All staff was so nice and caring to me and my kitty. Thank you !!!

I had a really positive experience going here. My dog, Lady, started coughing and vomiting this morning at around 4:30 and I was having a hard time finding a good urgent care facility that wasn’t an emergency room. Eventually someone told me about Animal Urgent Care and I decided I would try them out. They were extremely helpful with alleviating my stress over the whole situation as a first time dog owner and were good about communicating what they were able to offer, which I appreciated. They were able to get lady into an isolated room and confirm what she had was Kennel Cough all in one day. So I was very grateful, especially because the only appointment I could get anywhere was in a couple of days. I would highly recommend this place if you need somewhere to take your pet for urgent care. My only criticism is that I wish they opened before noon.

Everyone is so kind and lovely. Ignore the owner of Burbank Jewelry Outlet if he yells at you for parking in the public free parking on the street outside his business. He’s lying and rude.

The system to make an appointment is incredibly frustrating. It will say you have an appointment then they will tell you it's a not a real appointment and you have to get in line hours before they open to secure a spot. I don't know what working people are suppose to do. They do not make it easy or accommodating.

Highly recommend this clinic. Very professional and friendly staff. Well organized work , even in COVID period. The doctor calls and agrees with you on all his subsequent actions. All payments are made after your review and agree.

Our 10. month Gooldendoodle is a kleptomaniac with pica who ingests anything within 6 foot horizontal or vertical range - Animal Urgent Care gave him and us such great care. We arrived about 7pm midweek and after a long day the front office staff and Dr were still cheerful and empathetic and reassuring. They saw him very quickly, administered the emetic and and we were on our way home in less than an hour - also they charge extremely reasonable rates which I really appreciate as we are running out of space on the credit card for such regular dietary mishaps. I really appreciate everyones help when we needed them, and their sunny dispositions made an unpleasant situation into a pleasant experience (for me at least, I'm sure Oscar could have thought of things he would rather do with his evening)

I went to this urgent care for my cat who was bleeding in her litterbox. Quick and excellent care. They kept her for 4-5 hours and were upfront about the cost and asked permission before doing anything that would result on any cost. I went home with antibiotics and pain medicine for my cat, and they sent all their information to my vet once they opened the next day. Thank you for taking care of my baby!

Very impressed with everyone here, the nurses, the doctors, the people handling check ins, everybody was fantastic. It takes a while to see your pet since they don't do appointments, but they give you clear expectations about the timing. Great job communicating. All around, the best vet I've been to.

Came to drop off my cat they automatically charge me $100 on my visa all they want is money I already had told him what my cat had haematoma to the left ear Then they called me an hour later said he’s going to charge them $1200 to treat her I couldn’t afford it and I told him I’ll just pick her up and if they could at least give her pain medication with the hundred dollars that I had given them they automatically said come pick her up you declined your service they don’t care about your pet only about the money save yourself These people are not nice even have a banner right in the front of their door saying they don’t except hostility and bullying well they are bullying they are bullying us with their service fee that is so overpriced and not to help a pet In need

They were able to help my cat and were very informative and reassuring during a stressful time. However, my cat did come home with fleas which apparently are impervious to the over the counter flea meds. Not a fun souvenir.

When I took my dog for an infection it turned out he had an allergic reaction to his food and the vet recommended a special food. Solved the issue within weeks! Great advice from great people.

Absolute ripoff. They wanted $1,500 for simple bloodwork and x-ray. Steer clear of these scammers.

I really appreciated the combination of professionalism and compassion that our cat was given during an emergency visit to Animal Urgent Care. Unfortunately, our cat had a serious health issue that resulted in her needing to be put to sleep but everyone at Animal Urgent Care made it very clear to me that the pet's comfort was the number one priority. Dr. Berman was clear, thoughtful and patient through the whole process...she made a difficult decision much easier. Additionally, while I have been gouged at other emergency vets, Animal Urgent Care charged me significantly less than what I agreed to after the first tests suggested that the condition was already very advanced. I would not hesitate to take another pet here under any conditions, they're wonderful people.
