I have been coming to Bonsall Pet Hospital since 2002 when we moved to Vista accompanied by our cat, AJ. AJ was adored by Dr Ferguson and his staff because he was such a mellow fellow. He developed gastrointestinal lymphoma and all of the staff and Doc helped me through the treatment and decision to let go. Great compassion was shown at the time of AJ's passing and utter delight expressed when I arrived with my two new babies, Bonnie and Clyde the following week. We made almost monthly visits for nail trims and these two were the opposite of mellow, but loved by the staff just the same. Bonnie had a myriad of health issues and due to the care and guidance of Dr. Ferguson and the staff, we were able to get 3 more quality years added onto her life from the time of her lymphoma diagnosis. Dr. Ferguson retired and Dr. Boehn spent hours on the phone with my husband and me determining the best course of treatment for Clyde when his health tanked during Covid. I was allowed to be with him to say my final farewell and it was very peaceful. We now have two little spunky sisters and the staff enjoys them to no end. My cats love to go to the vet to play and get treats and hardly notice that they are getting a nail trim or shot. Dr. Allison is a gem. I so highly recommend this veterinary hospital.

I took my cat here to establish care and see about how to manage her anxiety. The staff was so kind and gentle with her, and got us on a stress-urinary health specific diet. They also recommend a big cat tree, more litter boxes, and some more cozy places to hide. I did all of this and she is doing much better. Like, I seriously wanna know what's in the wet food we get because she'll eat it and act super chill after. ???? I am so happy with the quality of service and look forward to going back for a checkup (even though my kitty may not). My kitty's name is Annabelle.❤️????????

Extremely helpful staff. I contacted them because I found a dog. They came curbside to scan for a chip. Being new in town, this will be our new vet.

The Doctor is very caring. I wish my personal Dr. cared as much as Dr. Fergeson. Highly recommended.

This Dr. was amazing when we had to put our sweet Sandy down. He explained everything so we we're okay. Very respectful. Always concerned about what Sandy and I went thru.

Have been going to Bonsall Pet Hospital for over 20 years. Caring, informative staff, and outstanding doctor. Wouldn’t take my cats and dogs anyplace else.

Dr. Ferguson and crew have always taken great care of our cats for eight years now.

They don't stick to the their business hours..I work until 5pm, I rushed to get there before they closed @ 5:30pm. I get to the office 11 min prior to close time, and it was already closed. I called the office # and a girl picks up the call and I asked why it was closed if it said on the door and on the internet page that they closed at 5:30pm and she couldn't give me answer.. that is so unprofessional and rude. I really need to buy nothing for my dog..

Dr.Ferguson helped us diagnose our 11 year old sharpei with a rare genetic disease and eventually put her down. He was straightforward, humble, and helpful and was everything we needed during the ordeal. Thank you.

Dr. Furgusen saved my dog twice in her life. He diagnosed and properly treated an illness mis-diagnosed by another doctor. He saved her when someone hit her with a car on our property. The dog I had before this one had to stay in the doctors office for a treatment and when I called to check on her, the receptionist told me she is fine.... She is right at my feet right now. All the assistants that work her are so sweet. My animals get wonderful care and Dr Furgusen is an excellent and pragmatic doctor. There is no where else I would take my pets.
