This is the worst animal vet in the world. I didnt appreciate his opinion and i met others who hate this place. He did not help my dog for $250. Needs to have His records look at. I think he is a scam.

I had to bring my kitten here at around 1:00am. He was pretty much unresponsive. The doctor tried everything he could but it wasn't looking good. He was honest and sympathetic. Hopefully I never have to go back, but I trust them if I do ever have to go back

The staff is so friendly, so helpful! Maddie's health is so important to us and she always gets the best of care at desert dunes. Dr Jackman is the best! Thank you for the love and caring you show Maddie.

I won’t go anywhere else, Dr Connor and Dr Jackman are the best, caring and over the top Vets. The staff is outstanding, Amber is a gem. Thank you Desert Dunes Animal Hospital.

This place is amazing and the staff is extremely caring! My dog had dental work almost 4 months ago and their work was great. My dog is 12 years old so I was concerned he would not be a good candidate for anesthesia, but they were reassuring and guided me through the whole process. I trust them to take care of my dog and I know they always do a great job. It is very evident that they truly care about animals and their well-being. I had a mini emergency today and they were able to fit me in even though I didn’t have an appointment. Everything ended up being okay with my dog and he went home with anti-inflammatory pills and pain meds. I really appreciate them for taking him in on such a short notice. The staff is amazing and they will take care of your pets extremely well! ????

The Desert Dunes staff are amazing. Thank you very much for the love, care and thoughtfulness for our pet and us as Maggie crossed over the rainbow bridge this morning. I definitely recommend this animal hospital for taking care of your pets.

Called about the cost of obtaining 7 dog Health Certifications for my international travel. They would Not give me exact pricing for the H.C. unless I go in and pay 80.00 per dog then they give me a price between 80 - 300.00 per dog on top of the original 80.00. They offer a service but will not give you pricing for that service unless I gave them 560.00. Ridiculous.

Ppl very nice, doing their jobs. Well run. These days, you pull up, phone them-- they come out, take your patient & you wait in car till they phone you back to pickup your animal.

Can't even say enough good things about this animal hospital. My dog was very sick and I could not find an open appointment anywhere. Desert Dunes told me they were booked solid but to bring my dog Oliver to the hospital and wait in the car with him I was told they couldn't guarantee the visit but if they found anytime they would tell me to bring him in and I may wait hours. Of course I rushed to the hospital where I waited not even an hour before they took Oliver in. Like always they took such good care of him. The Dr. Called me several times to keep me updated on Oliver These people at Desert Dunes truly love your animal and guaranteed your pet will receive the best medical treatment you can find. Truly amazing I wish I could give this place more then 5 stars. Thank you again to all of the people at Desert Dunes Animal Hospital. Sincerely. Daniel Bell & Oliver

I cannot compliment Dr Eric Jackman & the staff at Desert Dunes enough for the care provided to my beloved “Curly”. Whether it was a minor question or major surgery (torn ACL), the staff was considerate, transparent & comforting. I highly recommend Desert Dunes to all animal lovers!

My wife and I go there because of Dr. Tim Conners. He's from Iowa like myself. He takes fabulous care of our two chihuahuas and our Russian blue cat......Thanks Dr. Tim!

Very Rude Dr Clark , today I called just to ask how much will be for sedation in order my dog get he’s nail trimmed amd haircut Since I being advice dog will need it in order to get a haircut or regular services, Well I spoke with receptionist she said dr can do nails trim and other services But no haircut She said she will ask the doctor how much it will be So Dr Clark come to phone asked told me So you dog needs nails trimmed and gland extraction and needs to be sedated ? I said yes Than he suddenly just reply , oh sorry we don’t do haircuts?!? And hang up on me just plain like that ! ... So I knew they don’t do haircuts by receptionist mentioned . He never respond about my dog needs or Responding accordingly, What type of education is this ? Doesn’t even seems he went for education. Acting as cheap like this .

Lady that answered phone was extremely rude and patronizing. Made me feel like a criminal asking her questions. Hell no! Jesus that was completely unnecessary . Wouldn’t leave my animal a minute with a receptionist like that. Cmon your Job isn’t that hard.

Wonderfully talented and caring staff! They have a great system for dealing with pandemic concerns while still able to provide unparalleled care for your pet. Prices are reasonable and offered services are extensive. You can trust your beloved pet with these folks.

I have mix feelings about this Animal hospital. I have a 9 year old dog with anxiety that needed teeth removed. I am aware how scary anesthesia is and I am an over thinker. I asked a couple times if it was worth putting her under most of the replies were the same "only 2-3 dogs have not made it since I've worked here."  From two different employees one worked there since 2004 and i believe the other one was 2008. I called to ask if I can give baby pedialyte to my pupper they had to call me back I believe it was the manager this was a day and half before the tooth extraction. I made the mistake of asking her what are the chances of my dog making it and with no empathy or care she answered its a 50/50 that shell make it. I asked if she was the vet because if she was I clearly was not taking her but luckily she wasn't. I started crying I tried to hang up properly. That conversation is the reason I am motivated to write this review. At that point I decided I did not want to bring my dog to a vet I have never been to. I called 3 different oral surgeons I told them the 50/50 response that I got from the current vet I was taking my dog to and they all 3 didn't understand why someone would say that. So I made an appointment with a oral surgeon but it was 2 hours away and almost a month away for the appointment which is what I waited for DDAH. So waiting another month knowing my dog was gonna be in pain was stressful. So the day before someone called me to confirm her appointment at DDAH I told her about the person I spoke to and even she said I don't know who would tell you its a 50/50 chance. She was really nice and she helped me a lot. I didn't want to drive my poor pumpkin two hours there and back and wait a month for the oral surgeon . So i decided to shut down my fears because my dog is worth that and much more. I went through with it I was so scared! The week leading up to that was so bad for me. I did not wanna lose her, how could I even tell her what is happening. So when I dropped her off the lady that took her in was very nice. A called just to check on my dog  2-3 times. Finally it was over she made it and I went to pick her up. I felt so relived and the gentlemen that took her out was very nice and he took his time to answer my questions. He kinda laughed at the fact that I called to check on her but I think he meant it in a good way i think... When I went home I forgot to ask that gentlemen one more question. When I called the lady asked me "didn't you already ask him all the questions you needed to?" In a neutral voice. I am guessing they were annoyed by me. I stopped calling after that, I never got to ask why they took out two front teeth that were not loose. My dog ended up getting a allergic reaction in the afternoon so I took her to the 24/7 vet they were so nice and thoughtful. Luckily they didn't charge me the bumps on her face were going away. Anyways that was the first time at this vet. I know that you guys probably didn't wanna be liable if my dog did not make it. I just wish you guys would have been more comforting I wanted to know that my dog was in good hands but no one ever told me that or made me feel that way. Maybe you guys know that she was in good hands but I did not. Some of the employees are kinda rude, but others were sweet. I normally go to Carter animal hospital and they put up with me with kindness they are beyond sweet they went above and beyond when I had to put my hamster down they sent me a letter signed by everyone working there, they made a paw print. Unfortunately due to pandemic they were only open for emergencies and they did accept to take my dog but I didn't wanna take seriously ill dogs the chance to get treated. Either way thank you for helping my old lady out. She still has some plaque but its not a lot I'll work on brushing her teeth. I do appreciate it and the end of the day she is still by my side and that is all I wanted. So thank you to everyone that helped my Pumpkin.

Professional, friendly, caring. They took wonderful care of my German shepherd when he had cancer. My other German had gentle dental and a tooth pulled last week. No issues and she is so much happier. Not cheap but worth every penny for an older dog. No more doggie breath!!!

If I could give them a slogan it would be: Incredible care and compassion for pets and their people!!!! My best furry friend - Lizzee, is fifteen years old and not only is she my best friend, she’s my service dog and has helped to keep me alive since 2005! So as you can imagine, she is very important to me. ???? As you can also imagine, she is getting older and needs lots of care these days! We moved to California from the East Coast in 2018 and we have tried a few different vets and then we found Desert Dunes Animal Hospital. This is the best experience we’ve ever had in her whole life - and we’ve moved around a decent amount. I have been shown so much compassion and excellent care and service since I have started coming to Desert Dunes Animal Hospital. My old furry pal, Lizzee, has had some health problems and has had to make frequent visits and we have been treated like family. We are so grateful and highly recommend their care. Thank you so much for taking care of my senior gal! ????????

I love the staff. They have been so kind to me and my furry babies over the past year and through some difficult times. They have shown me and my pups an incredible standard of care and compassion every single time I call and visit, which has been a large amount this year compared to what I am used to, and I cannot ever thank them enough. Everyone from reception to doctors are so professional and treat me and my dogs like family.

We've been with DDAH for more than 10 years and we truly appreciate the care and treatment plans they have made regarding the health of our dogs. We have a "pack" and the staff DDAH can't be beat. Thank you for the love and care you gave to our little Buddy (he was 16 when he crossed the rainbow bridge last year) and the love and care that you still give to Tucker, Castro, Lilly and Barack.
