Wonderful, caring, attentive, and informative staff. As pleasant as an experience you can have when your baby isn't well.

The folks are Banning Veterinary Hospital were kind and professional. They were recommended specifically for their dental care. My small dog had 20 teeth extracted 4 days ago and he is doing wondetful. Yes, I would most certainly reccomend this clinic 100%!

I first used Banning Veterinary Services on an urgent care basis. I was SO impressed by Dr. Tower’s help that I knew I’d gladly drive the 23 miles from my home in Palm Springs to take my little guy, Rex, to see her. Amazingly the urgent …

I was referred to this animal hospital. My dog needed to get spayed and being new to having a puppy I was scared about her procedure. The staff at the facility was great about booking an appointment for me and was friendly and professional. …

We have taken all of our pets to Banning Veterinary Hospital since 1989 when Dr. McGown was the main veterinarian and owned the hospital. From Dr. McGown to Dr. Ryan Westbrook to Dr. Greenhouse and most recently Dr. McCloud, all of our …

While camping with our group in Banning I noticed our dog Gabby had a lump below her jawbone and was not acting herself... took her to the Urgent care on Wednesday night and she was diagnosed with an abcessed tooth...Dr. Greenhouse gave her an antibiotic shot and a shot for pain and scheduled her for Surgery the next morning... Would highly recommend this Vet as the treatment we experienced was professional and thorough... And all the staff was very nice... Thank you for taking care of our Baby girl... Would definitely go back if needed...

Don’t waste your time you’ll sit on hold for 45 minutes and if you have an emergency your pet could be dead by then

Have went here for many years prior it has went down hill severely in that time. I took my dog here three times in three months for lumps and bumps. I was told all clear every time. Dr Ryan, instead of doing further testing just told me his dog had so many lumps and bumps it was weird to even touch him and not to worry. The very next month I make her an appointment yet again because I was still uneasy about the lumps -made an appointment and sat there for nearly two hours and had prior commitments so I had to leave. They act like no one’s time is important but theirs they double book appointments and don’t care how long you sit. I Came back 4 days later with a new appointment this is now the 3rd visit in three months. This time time they finally tell me she has lymphoma and the lumps were cancerous when I become angry they try to tell me it basically comes up overnight and wasn’t cancer the two previous times I was there. I find that incredibly hard to believe. At any rate, I was told she has a week or two to live Nov 17th.. luckily it is now the middle of January and she is still with me thanks to a very competent oncologist vet in orange country. I would never take another animal to this place they are incredibly unorganized, unprofessional and rush things through. By time they told me my dog had cancer it was now stage 5.. should/could have been caught in the previous 2 visits I went out of my way and paid them for. It’s quite a kick in the gut feeling knowing I tried to take my dog in at the first sign and it took them three visits and cancer getting to stage 5 for a diagnoses.

I took my 9 week old puppy in for vaccination. Vet put her on a series for new puppy’s. Explained everything that puppy needs & timeline. All appointments were booked at time. Love this place.

I've had really good care for all my dogs from BVH for years. Very happy to have found them. Nice clean place and very good doctors and employees all around. I drive 45 minutes to get there because I trust them with my pets! :)

Dr. Greenhouse is the best. She has been my dogs vet for 4yrs and I like how she takes the time to hear us out during our visit. Never rushing to get us out. The only thing I don’t like is the phone wait time. I call the office and it takes forever to get someone on the line.

I have thought long and hard about giving this poor review, but finally decided to. We had to have our dog Dex euthanized in February because he had lymphoma. When we went in, they put us in a room. The vet and assistant came in. They expressed absolutely no compassion. The vet gave him the euthanasia medicine, then told us we can stay as long as we want with him. They left the room and the assistant came back just a few minutes later To take him away. We were so upset and devastated by his loss that we couldn’t even think to ask for more time. I felt like we were basically pushed out of the room. No apologies and no compassion from them whatsoever. Even when I went to pay the bill, I was crying, and there were still no apologies or compassion from the lady that took our money. I have had dogs my entire life and have had many euthanized, and have never had an experience as bad as this one. We asked that he be cremated, and all they put on the box with his name. No date of death, no nothing. Pretty sad for a veterinarian office that gets really good reviews. I am still devastated by his loss, and this experience doesn’t help that.

Please tell Dr Johnson the twitchy tiny Yorkie she sent home even though I told her that wasn't normal died in your parking lot in the middle of the night. We couldn't find an emergency vet to take her everyone was full, or Drs in surgery. We called from a list of 20 or more The infection was making her hypoglycemic and the Dr insisted she was as stable as she'd get. I kept asking is there anything I should do to help her. Her tiny little body steadily twitching in front of us. "Oh no we've pumped her full just take her to your vet in the morning" Your Dr has ruined my life and let my tiny baby die horribly in my arms. I'll never forgive her. The other vet had at least told us he felt if she wasn't much better we should take her to an all night hospital before he left her in Dr Johnsons hands. He would have at least told us she wasn't strong enough and where to take her. He would have helped us keep Lilo alive. This will never be ok, she was our child. She deserved better than Dr Johnson. Sincerely and heartbroken, Stacey Smith Also a way of contacting someone for help instead of just an answering machine could have saved her life!!!!!!!

To make an appointment it to me almost took me 40min but that's not the reason I'm mad. After she answered I was talking to her to make an appointment when she rudely said they did not have any appointment till next week. So I was telling her to let's go ahead and schedule it for Monday when she just hang up on me. What is wrong with this place!!

My wife took out American Staffie, Sasha, in for a urinalysis her dermatologist insisted on her getting before anymore allergy meds were to be refilled. Banning Veterinary Hospital was the only place she could even get an appointment that wasn't weeks away. We hadn't been to this Vet in many years since their move but plan on using their services from now on. My wife was so excited to be able to actually be face to face with a vet for the first time since covid started. The first question of many was concern for why she needed a urinalysis in the first place, since it was not a common test done for allergies. My wife explained all the antibiotics Sasha had to take on and off for the 4 years we have had her, due to many infections caused by her severe allergies. She explained that she assumed the test was needed to make sure her kidneys were functioning properly. Not knowing any underlying problems she may have had leading up to this, Dr. Ryan asked all kinds of questions about everything my dog has been thru. He took Sasha back to do the test and came back and brought my wife back to where they were doing the procedure. They wanted to show her what they had found on the inside of Sasha's leg and on her belly. It was the first signs of skin cancer. He spent a long time explaining what she will need to have done and took his time trying to keep costs down while giving her the best in medical treatment. He knew his stuff and showed much concern for her well being and that she wasn't having to endure any unnecessary testing. He explained options I was never given before and asked if I wouldn't mind getting him a copy of her records for him. Now this is what I call a great Vet. Thank you Banning Veterinary Hospital and Dr. Ryan for all your concern for our Sasha along with giving my wife a clear picture of what the future may hold for us dealing with skin cancer. We will be seeing you again soon.

They are not gouging us for money, and are doing what they should be doing to get my animal well. I have been going to them now for two years or so, and I couldn't be any happier.

It was our first visit, and I was glad I took my dog there. If he could talk I think he'd say he liked it too. I felt they were knowledgeable and professional. I'd heard good things about the hospital and Dr. Chao, and I could see why.

I've loved the vets and care here since 2007 or so. Horses, cats and dogs. i am happy to hear they are fixing the phone system as that is the only frustration. Happy Holidays!

Hi! I don't live in the area but my significant other recently took her pet rat here, she loves him dearly and needed a very specific treatment. As poor little puffin has a pituitary tumor, which is likely going to be fatal. The skilled veterinarians were gentle with him, treated him amazingly, and prescribed him life saving medicine to extend his life, as well as increase the quality of his life. She had struggled with other vets, unable to get proper treatment and as a result puffin's health continued to decline. Thank you so much to all the staff here! You all do excellent work, and she's made it clear she intends to do her business here from here on. She even was told to call if she had any questions whatsoever. You made her day so much better, in fact you all collectively have helped her relax during a stressful time. From the bottom of my heart as an outside observer, I thank you all profusely. I highly recommend this place for your animal care needs, and please be extremely kind and patient with the amazing staff here. They're worth it in every way.

We had a great experience and most importantly they took immediate care of our little Lucy who was suffering from a collapsing trachea. The receptionist, I believe her name was Jennifer, took us in even though we didn’t have an appointment due to the seriousness of Lucy’s problem. She explained how if we could wait 45 minutes there was an opening immediately saving us $30 dollars. Dr. Barkley quickly recognized Lucy’s issue and explained how we could help her and gave us medication. Lucy is doing much better! We will be bringing our other two dogs here even though it is a 36 mile drive for us. VCA is one mile away and Banning Veterinary Hospital is far superior and worth every mile!!!

Dr.McCloud is knowledgeable, professional, and goes the extra mile to make sure her patients are taken care of. She’s a breath of fresh air , and my dog actually gets excited to see her (unlike other vet visits elsewhere. She loves the doctor! In addition, the place is clean !! Easy access off freeway. Fair prices. So happy to have found them!

I used to go an animal hospital that would be PACKED consistently, therefore their quality of care was rapidly declining every time we went to visit. When I was recommended this hospital, I was beyond pleasantly surprised when I walked in. They're so clean, organized, and attentive. Everyone always wants the highest quality care for their little loved ones and this is exactly where you can get that. They're thorough in their work and I left feeling like my questions were answered and that they truly cared about my furry friend. I'm a forever client!
