Compassion, Responsive & SO Caring. We were at our beach house this past weekend and our 16 year old dog - Lucy unfortunately took a turn for the worse. I knew in my heart I needed to make the decision I didn't want to face. Lucy has never been treated by North Fork Animal Hospital but they were really my only hope. Being a Saturday, they were booked solid BUT Allison & Dr. D'Amato told me to come when we were ready and to call when we were in the parking lot. They treated us with soo much compassion and care from the moment we entered the compassion room. I can not thank them enough for making a difficult day a bit easier. I will be forever grateful.

Caring people I take my ferrets there as they are 1 of few on longisland that will see sick ferrets. They specialize in treating the little buggers

The veterinarians and the entire staff are wonderful. They get to know you and your pet and are compassionate when hard decisions must be made. They seem to be excellent diagnosticians, and are available when you have a question.

I drive 40 minutes to bring my furry family members here. The Vets and staff are the best... period.

We couldn’t ask for a better vet to take care of our new puppy. Dr Cabral is so incredibly caring and attentive as well as patient and understanding with two new puppy parents. We feel so fortunate to have her and the staff at NFAH caring for our puppy. They are amazing!

My dogs have been patients of north fork animal hospital. I have had dogs my entire life. I have been to many animal hospitals. But the receptionist's and the doctors are the most compassionate and caring individuals I've ever come across. I made you a most amazing job fun answering all your questions you can call them anytime you need to ask a question. north fork animal hospital is one of the best veterinary hospitals I know of, Compassionate,and super sweet staff that really care about your pet and you,they are affordable and will work with you if your on a fixed income I cant say enough good things about this office and there staff... the total and complete opposite of mattituck veterinary hospital. If you want somone to care about you and your pet and not just your money then dont go to mattituck go to north fork animal hospital located on main road southold

Dr. Mullady was wonderful, and the technician, aka “the cat whisperer”, Nancy, was able to calmly control Danny allowing Dr. Mullady to give him a full exam. Danny has been a very difficult patient with other vets we’ve gone to in the city, but after today’s very positive experience, I am so glad to call the North Fork Animal Hospital our vet for all our pets. I’ve bringing my dog to North Fork Animal Hospital and have always been very happy with the care. I also want to give a shout-out to the women at the front desk. Definitely a 5-star veterinarian group!
