We took our 10 year old dog Milkey there to find out why she wouldnt eat so they x-reyed her and did some test $727.00 eorth and they started treatment for pancreatitis needless to say when i picked her up from them she was worst then when i took her she kept getting worst so i called them and was told to bring her back sunday morning when i got there they said they couldnt see her because the dr tested positive for covid zand sent me to bakersfield veterinarian hospital she was crital and they x-rayed her and told me she had cancer really bad and you could see it in the x-rays 4 paws should have seen it to but they didnt tell me about it both veterinarian's x-rays look the same. Needless to say my baby died In my opinion this veterinarian is only out to make money I had to pay $2271.00 for 2 days in their veterinary hospital for nothing they didnt give her pain meds to take home SORRY Veterinarian hospital they dont show any concern for you or your pet I wouldnt have gave any stars if i could leave a review without a star

Do NOT take your pets here! This vet lost his license for a reason. I took my senior cat here as an emergency because no place was accepting any new patients and they absolutely gouged me out of $3000. I brought her in here for diarrhea and an abcess and they ran every unnecessary test and gave me almost 10 different medications for her. She ended up with inflamed intestines from the amount of medication they prescribed and thats just the first $1500. Second half, I brought her back because I'd expect they had her on file, and the Dr. had absolutely no file on her and was trying to run more similar tests. Not to mention he kept her overnight both times and charged $300 for it. She still isn't better and I'm hoping another vet will squeeze her in. Please don't take your pets here.

I went to go get my dog changed for her splint. They did not put a splint they just covered the injury. At first they charge very cheap but later they scam you. Horrible experience. DO NOT GO HERE!

They took my pet in and did a great job. Nicole was very attentive as well as other staff.

4Paws is an excellent Veterinary Hospital. My cat received excellent care. Staff are kind, caring, professional, & friendly. They genuinely care about your fur baby. They are upfront with options and pricing. I will definitely be a returning customer.

I took my dog, Fifi, to receive a Cortisone shot for her skin allergies, but they were adamant that I couldn't see her actually receive her shots for some reason. When the technician brought my little dog back to me I became suspicious when I couldn't feel any wet spots where the technician claimed he used alcohol prior to administering the shots, the other shot being for her allergies. Whenever I have taken Fifi to other veterinarians she has always responded, but after I got her home it was obvious that they ripped me off and didn't actually give her the shots they claimed to have done. They charged me $250.00 for treatment that she didn't actually receive.

Do not forget this vet has a current revoked licence (as of 2021). With its history, I'm surprised it's still in business.

The staff is extremely friendly this is my pets new home.

I took my puppy there for a check up and parvo check paid 150 so parvo came back negative but then they came back with wanting to do all these test that was gonna be around 700 so I call the next day and asked them how was his health as far as his weight they didn’t even check his weight so what is there definition of a wellness check I want to know what I paid for the only reason I came to this place was because everyone else was booked I definitely wrong be coming back!

They are always accommodating. Came in from out of town for a family emergency and they took them right in for boarding.

I had to go here weeks ago because I had no other recourse in getting seen in a timely manner by other vets. I never got to see or speak to a vet. The invoice only listed the tests, treatments and charges. It did mot even list the vets names. I called recently to find out the vets names and licensing numbers. The woman answering the phone claimed she did mot have them and wanted to take my mame and number to have the manager call me. I declined. This is information all members of the staff, not to mention the public, should have ready access to. I now consider this "vet" suspect and shady and will never go there again.

I too my cat 3 times for the same thing, ear infection, paid 3 times for the same thing, and it look the infection still there. Their job has NO WARANTY, TOO EXPENSIVE, AND FOR NOTHING.

I wish I were writing this review under better circumstances but they were very kind and considerate and patient.

This place took in our pup..said he had parvo(he didn't) charged my daughter 1700$ sent the dog home with no after care instructions..he was worse the few following days..took him elsewhere and he had a bowl blockage..I'this place is terrible

During quarantine and a little after, they wouldn't let you in with your pets, I took my dogs to get vaccinated but I am not sure if they actually got the vaccine. I took one of my dogs when he was ill and after 3 hours and 40 minutes waiting in the car for my dog, they returned him the same, another time I took my younger dog to get vaccinated and he was shaking for 2 days without stopping, I call them they said they did the normal procedure and they didn't know why he was shaking, I am glad they removed their license. They have new vets but their prices are crazy high. Not going back.

Pablo my dog is being hospitalized and will be receiving excellent medical care. The medical staff are knowledgeable in their field along being compassionate.

They were very nice and I felt comfortable with leaving my dog with them gave me perfectly clear after surgery instructions made sure that I understood everything

My cat stopped eating for a week so we called to make an appointment to have him checked out. They were very caring when they took him inside for tests & an x-ray. They said that it would take a few hours to get the results. We received a phone call saying that they had the results. The x-ray showed that he had a huge tumor. So we decided to have him euthanized to prevent him from suffering. It was the hardest decision we've ever had to make ???? we had him for 16 years & was part of the family. They were so compassionate and let us have as much time as we needed to say goodbye ???????????????????? I miss him soooo much. We're glad that we took him there.

They we're great. Got us in quick and shud a great job. Little higher priced But worth it. Thank you for taking care of our little Pumpkin.

They actually have a vaccine clinic open later in the day. I think its ridiculous that a vaccine clinic closes at 2pm. Working people have got to work!but this place is awesome! They can take your pet in right away and they all are so nice.

Incompetent employees that tell you one thing on the phone, then something entirely different in person. No accountability for the problems they cause. Steer clear of this sketchy place if you care about your pets.

Place had a bad reputation from previous owners. But the staff now was nice caring and very informative. Thank you
