Serenity Cat Hospital Bakersfield, California

This is my first time here so happy I found her, she’s the most gentle Vet I’ve ever experienced with my 12 year old cat. I was worried about what type of procedure was gonna be needed to resolve the problem but she was able to resolve this problem with just a office visit, Thank you so much to the Dr and the girls in the office for your kindness and help with my Mia, I highly recommend this office and they will be the office I use from now on for my fur babies. Thank you again for your Kindness and help.

I cannot thank Dr. Cherry and this staff enough. My cat needed emergency surgery and after spending 600 (not including $2300 estimated surgery costs) at another vet for diagnostic, I didn't have much money left for more. Other vets were more concerned about profit and money. Thankfully this staff cares about these animals. I brought my pet in the next open buisness day for emergency surgery and they were able to complete it for $635 including medication. I am so thankful I found these caring vets otherwise my cat would have been euthanized for no reason. Thank you so much! I'll never go anywhere else for my cats needs (:

We had a wonderful visit with our new kitten. The receptionist was very friendly, and the vet was very informative. She explained everything she was doing as she performed the examination and treatments. She was very loving to our kitten. We will continue to bring our kitten to Serenity.????

Dr. Mattias was wonderful! Very gentle & kind with my cat, she is usually very shy & was at ease the whole appointment. The doctor explained everything she was doing in a simple & easy to understand way as well. Pricing was lower than expected, & the visit overall was very calm & pleasant.

The service at Serenity Cat Hospital is a 5 star service, since they truly do care about your cats issues and they treat your cats with respect and care.The building in general is so cute and cozy! Wow! Have never had a vet spend so much time with one of my animals. She was so kind and gentle with my cat. My cat doesn't really like anyone but me, but she had him purring within seconds. Can really tell she loves cats. Would highly recommend Serenity cat hospital to anyone who wants a great vet at a very fair price. Thank you Serenity!

If you value being treated with respect, getting a call back from your vet, talking with professional staff ( not young girls who are incapable of relaying messages), and you appreciate being spoken to in a Non-condescending tone, Well then, I recommend you Do NOT Go Here!! Today was the last straw! Keep your credit card and your cat far away from this place!

coming here was an enormous waste of time and money. i do not understand why their stars are so high, they were not only highly unprofessional, but simply told me that the reason my cat is having diarrhea and blood in her stool is because of organic food... i don’t know if they know what organic means but i’m fairly certain you can’t chalk up the whole issue to being that my cat doesn’t have as many pesticides in her food??? and then they told me to try feeding her cheese which makes no sense because cats aren’t meant to have dairy lol absolute nonsense

This vet blew me away. Dr Cherry checked my Millie from head to toe. It was very thorough check up. And it was quiet there. (no ????'s) The staff was very helpful and friendly. I think it is going to be worth the drive to go to this little country type pet hospital. Only downfall...not open on Saturdays.

I couldn't be more positive about Serenity Cat hospital. She goes to conferences, reads the journals, and practices common sense -- and high tech care. My cats feel comfortable and safe there and so do I.

Dr. Mattias and her staff are wonderful and really love their jobs. Dr. Mattias is so patient and treats both pet and owner with such kindness. It is obvious she found her true calling.

Omg, I LOVE THIS PLACE...SUCH A GOD SEND. The vet is so knowledgeable & the prices seem to be a little lower than other vets I've used in the past. I love that there's NO BARKING DOGS TO TERRIFY & Freak out MY CATS. Thus fact alone sets this veterinarian apart from all the rest...as she only treats cats. They also have a wonderful gal who gave my cat "The Lion Cut"...& she didn't need to sedate him!! WOW!! How she did that, I don't know, but I was so grateful. She cleaned- up & groomed my poor big, matted, Fur- baby and he looked so cool afterwards. Like a little black lion. ❤❤???? They also sell local honey!!! It helped clear up my allergies. Awesome place, I totally recommend it for your loving kit-kat.❤????

One of my boys is NOT fond of leaving the house. Dr. Cherry was SO sweet, gentle, and understanding with him. I have never been to an office that doesn't just man handle a cat after it gets upset, but even after he was hissing and growling she was still very patient and was able to do the whole exam without an issue! She also loved all over my young kitten. You can tell she thoroughly loves animals, and respects cats for what they are. Getting my big boy's vaccines done here vs. at a vaccine clinic was 10000% worth the extra cost knowing my boys were vaccinated SAFELY and CORRECTLY, and treated with love and respect. Recommend to anyone who loves their cats like family.
