Doctor and staff seem to genuinely love animals. Charges were far less than expected and procedure was done correctly. New loyal customer.

I needed to get my puppy her parvo shot, and I'm really glad I stumbled upon Dr. Cooke's Clinic. The office staff was friendly and patient, and the healthcare team was very gentle but thorough. I was in and out in no time, and my puppy was at ease the whole time, even while getting her shot. Overall, this is a fantastic veterinary clinic, I couldn't be happier with my visit! Thank you everyone, see you soon for her boosters =)

Staff was very nice, cats were adorable!

Great staff Dr. Cook took time with our little guy and the assistant that was helping him was so caring mad our little guy feel easy when trimming his nails. They found out what the issue was with him, even laid out a game plan. We are very satisfied with the service, and the price is very reasonable. They took a typical blood panel, found out his issue and put together game plan. I was not Shock with a huge price... I would highly recommend Cooks veterinarian to everyone that needs to take their babies to get taken care of....

Receptionist was heartless, show absolutely no desire to help or even look at my dog .

Cat n dog needed attention- shared ear infection, dog has uti. Dog much better now, cat better but will need more ear drops maybe separate rx. Dog is a Walker hound so ear trouble is basically perpetual. Dr. Cooke is very low key, but explains well, and most importantly pays attention to pet more than human companion- how it should be.

Gotta say I love Dr. Cooke. I recently put down my almost 26 year old pitbull. I won't go anywhere else for checkups and when the day comes to say goodbye they are very compassionate. They let you chose to stay with your animal or if you can't handle being there for it not to. They let you stay with your pet for awhile after as well if you so chose. The Dr is very experienced and explains everything thoroughly.

I called about my dog. And the women who answered the phone hung up on me before I could even explain what was going on with my dog, how rude and unprofessional.

My first visit to Dr. Cooke's office with my French bulldog Cooper. Dr. Cooke seems very experienced and knowledgeable. His love for animals is apparent by his patience with Cooper. I would recommend ????

Cats roaming all over are very friendly. If you are a cat lover you are in paradise. Went there to donate pillows and blankets. Very friendly staff.

Very hood doctor and nice staff and cute cats

We have an elderly dog with some health issues. We didn't wait long for an appointment, and when we arrived were taken to a room in a few minutes. I was very pleased with the care and attention received for our old pal.

Doc. Cooke has been my Vet for over 20yrs. He explains what & why your Pet is having a problem. He's great with a normally hyper Pet. The man is one word, "WONDERFUL"!!!

Been going to Cooke's since I moved to Bakersfield in 2003 and they are awesome! I have NEVER had any issues and they treat me and my fur kids like family. Dr. Cook is very knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate- a great doctor. Whitney and Margie and the vet techs are amazingly kind, helpful, and super friendly. Our fur kids are our family and my hubby and I trust them 100%, we feel blessed to have found Dr. Cooke and his team!!

After being a loyal client for more than 16 years with one dog then a second for more than 10, when I needed help for my 16 year old best friend, the office said I needed to make an appointment that was days out. And when I pleaded for help, before the other even closed, I was told Cooke was busy. More than 16 years I brought my Brutus, who was not doing well at all, to this office to be told to get in line. I will not be returning to Cooke’s office with my other best friend or any other and I can no longer recommend this office! Loyalty is very important in my values and principles and this office should me it has none.
