Dr. London was fantastic. She was great with my anxious pitty/boxer mix, and I appreciated how well she explained things to me. She was knowledgeable, personable, and professional all in one. Would absolutely recommend her if you're looking for a vet!

Honest and kind. While it is more expensive than taking your pet to the clinic/ shelter for shots and surgeries, if you have concerns on how your pet is being treated I would recommend spending the extra time and money here. I have been to other VCA locations and the doctors here seem to have a lot of patience and understanding. It is the best VCA location I have been to.

On April 1st we came home to find my daughters cat laying motionless. We raced to take her to a vet and drove up to VCA Arroyo Grande Animal hospital frantic and looking for help. Even though they were closed, they opened their doors and tried to help our cat. Unfortunately, she didn't make it. They were so caring and loving giving us time to say our good byes. They offered us a clay paw print of our baby. Thank you to the staff and the Veterinarian for being so great in our hour of sorrow.

Very thorough, presented several options for my dogs treatment of allergies.

$60 for an "exam" that takes over an hour when you show 10 minutes early. Phone call with doctor is a big upscale of random things. This place is so not fair and it is pure evil. "Owner" dont reply with some I'm sorry you feel s type a way message. You don't care and you wont do anything. You will make it seem like you're taking action by telling me to contact you or something lame. Here is an answer, don't charge $60 to waste an hour of my time, then try to sell me more stuff.

These people are quick to kill your pets. Gives out wrong medications and every vet has a different opinion. My dog is alive and cancer free. I was told my dog was dying from cancer. Went to another vet and nope he is fine.

Vet staff is always friendly and helpful.

AG Vet Hospital deserves numerous recommendations from my family, so this recommendation will come in 3 parts. We highly recommend Arroyo Grande Vet Hospital for any of your pet's needs. We can not speak highly enough of the entire staff! 1.) Our one year old puppy got into some sort of toxin. We obviously did not know that was the issue initially, and when we called about our puppy not feeling well, their response was "How soon can you be here?" The relief that is felt as a dog parent when you are able to get in that quickly is something I cannot put into words. To have the vet available when you need them is so, so important! Dr. Murphy went above and beyond, along with the vet techs, to help our Australian Shepard. The amount of phone calls Dr. Murphy had to make to keep us updated was unbelievable. But Dr. Murphy always kept us informed and updated. His dedication at trying to find the specific toxin, as well as helping our puppy was remarkable. Sadly, our sweet Australian Shepard, Nasa, did not make it. The kindness and love that was shared by the entire staff at AG Vet Hospital was extraordinary. We appreciated their support at such a difficult time. Dr. Murphy and his staff will always be remembered by our family for their above and beyond support. 2.) A year ago, our family dog was unable to walk. His hips were bad, and they finally gave out to the point we knew most likely we needed to euthanize him. It was a Sunday, and we were SO GRATEFUL that AG Vet Hospital was open. They were so kind and patient with us saying good by to our sweet boy. They helped ease the sadness of our 10 year old daughter by giving her a popcycle to give to our dog as a last treat. The kindness that the staff showed us that morning we will never forget. 3.) A couple years ago, we added 2 pet kune kune pigs to our family. We were so grateful that AG Pet Hospital was able to neuter our boys. Not many vets in the area were willing to do that. Again, there is no doubt in our family that the best vet hospital is Arroyo Grande Vet Hospital. Please know that you are so, so appreciated.

They are amazing here. Dr. Murphy guided me through the care for my Newfoundland and the staff are amazing as well.

even with covid-19 pandemic going on this vet hospital has a great staff, and they do there best to keep each patron and their animals involved with social distancing while providing great care for the person of their patrons. Keep up the good work everyone, I really appreciate your dedication to our fur babies during this crisis.

I recently took my 3 month old Samoyed puppy to VCA Animal Hospital to get his updates on his inoculations. They went out of their way to accommodate me in feeling comfortable about their safety protocol regarding the Corona virus which I deeply appreciated. Dr. Kevin Palisoc who graduated from U.C. Davis read through my whole page of questions, and spent an hour, yes I said an hour, going over every concern I had about my new puppy. He is such a lovely person who had nothing but my pet's best interest at heart. He is very articulate, precise, and so well organized who didn't miss a beat in answering every concern I had. I have had dogs all my life, but I don't think I have ever been lucky enough to get a vet who is so intelligent and truly cares so much about my pet. S Edelman Arroyo Grande, Ca.

I had an emergency and they took care of it without a worry

We just moved into town were referred here by a friend. The experience was great despite not being able to go inside. The techs were very nice and the Vet, Dr. Cammidge, was great.
