Over they phone they were highly responsive and kind. Also, they were the only vet in the area that asked me if what we needed was an emergency, and it genuinely seemed like they cared and wanted to help.

I have been going to Dr. Berg for the past 9 years and have found him and his staff are very professional and caring. I will always refer the Five Cities Veterinary Hospital to everyone I talk to. This is one of the best Veterinary around - Thank you Dr. Berg & Staff !

Had To Wait Outside At Their Location For 3+ Hours With A Very Sick Very Unhappy Cat That Had To Be Kept In A Small Cat Carrier. Despite Calling Ahead. There Must Be A Better More Flexible Way To Do That! Isn't There???

Felt like they were interested in you, and your pet was important to them and not just a client.......

Poor customer service, refuses to work with people who are having car trouble...will go elsewhere where there's better customer service and overall treatment of not only animals but humans well!

Still unable to met the vets due to pandemic, but have taken care of my dogs.

I recently changed to this vet because I called around everywhere to try to get my dog in for a simple procedure and no one had availability and when I called here they worked my dog in between other appointments to accommodate me. I love that they get back to me fast and I personally love that they text you if you prefer to connect that way. My dog is super happy to go every time and they even price match for her prescriptions. The staff is always friendly and meet me outside and take payment outside or even come up to my truck which is very convenient with three kids.

Our Cocker stepped on something that caused a large swollen blister on her front paw. We called Dr. Bergs office late in the afternoon & they were able to get us in the next day. She had a puncture wound & it was examined & cleaned & she was given an antibiotic & sent home with us. I received a welfare call the very next morning to see how she was doing. All the staff here is so friendly & professional & their prices are very reasonable. I have used them in the past & can certainly recommend them!

Had to wait days for an appointment then got turned away because my dog was aggressive?? I thought vet professionals cared for dogs

Dr. Berg is outstanding. She took time to explain my kitty's condition in terms I could readily understand. It was obvious that she had carefully reviewed my cat's records and considered her previous problems. Her kindness and compassion for my cat was evident. I had been sick with worry. It is such a relief to know my cat is receiving such terrific care. Everyone at Five Cities Veterinary Hospital has been so supportive. I have been caring for pets for over 60 years and it is very rare to find such excellent care for them. I recommend Five Cities in the highest possible terms.

Outstanding first appointment with our new pup. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable. Appointment was on time and vet spent a fair amount of time with us answering all our questions...lots of them! We'll be back! This is a follow up review after our second experience. I have to change from 5 star to 2 star review because we had our puppy neutered and they prescribed a cone for post-op instead of the doughnut. They put it on him too tight and broke his ear. I called twice to find out what could be done and got a message via office staff that the doctor/vet was not concerned!!!! We certainly were. I asked if the ear would come back on it's own or if there was something that could be done. Office staff said maybe it would come back, but that she really had no idea, said she never had this happen. But the vet obviously was still unconcerned and NEVER bothered to call us. Four months later we have a pricey, purebred pup with a flat ear! We're very disappointed with the lack of concern from this vet. We will not be back. Go to Santa Maria don't go here!

Dr. Berg and his staff are the most professional veterinary service I've found. They truly care about your pet. Dr. Berg is very knowledgeable and shares his knowledge with us in terms you can understand, but in no way condescending.

Both Dr. Bergs have taken care of our senior dogs and now our new puppy. They are wonderful because they educate us on our pet's needs and allow us to make the decision. They do not pressure us into treatment. The doctors are honest and easy-going. I do not get crazy surprises with my bills. They are kind and caring and I would recommend them to anyone with a pet.

Dr Berg is just the best! Takes the time to explain your animals issues and is just an overal super nice guy.

Dr.Berg / 5Cities Veterinary Hospital is a wonderful source of love and care for your pets. Dr.Berg is very kind, patient and understanding of all situations that occur with our loved pets and has compassion. He is very conservative with his approach but very honest with his recommendations. Dr.Berg cares for our Dog whom has an auto immune disease and always something else occurring and cares for my two senior cats. Highly recommend his care and I give him the ultimate respect of his expertise. All the staff is so helpful, warm, friendly and knowledgeable as well. Thank you all.
