I would give you a zero but that’s not possible so I give you a 1 I Took my cat in they found two puncture wounds on his back told me they weren’t bothering him had nothing to do with the issue told me he was blocked and when asked if he was going to die they said yes that’s a real possibility and sent me home. Took him to nipomo cat and dog ( amazing place and people) the wounds the er found where the exact cause of my pet in pain had nothing to do with him dying and they charged me $500 for 1 test showing he wasn’t blocked yet still said he was and he might die These people don’t care about your animal or you just the money nothing but money money money .

The vets at this hospital saved my dog's life. We brought him in at one am not realizing that he was suffering from a sudden unexpected case of GDV. They started emergency surgery on him right away and fortunately it was successful! We are eternally grateful to this hospital for keeping our pup alive.

even on a holiday weekend, as our first time having to experience going to the pet ER, the whole staff was kind, efficient and great bedside manner (you ALL know what I mean!) Yes a little bit of a wait, but to be expected on such a busy weekend.

Horrible group of people. They don't do what needs to be done - they half way the treatment, and then try to push any/all blame off. If you want to spend a bunch of money to get nothing done, go here. Otherwise I'd pick another place. Especially if you are homeless, or your animal is very important to you.

Appreciated the way they responded to our needs. The process was a bit cumbersome, increasing wait times but everyone helping were very professional, courteous and knowledgeable.

Really rude staff, pressures you into procedures, wants to charge thousands for diagnostics. Go elsewhere. Lady who said her name is Anastasia was incredibly rude, dismissive, and insensitive. They also misgendered my sister and were transphobic.

I can not say enough good things about the kind and care staff here. Times have been very tuff for me recently. I had very old Sheba inu the last of my Sheba’s she was 18 I had just gotten released from the hospital after a 7 day stay still very frail. And had to deal with my poor girl and other things. She was in a lot of pain so forced to have to take her into emergency I was faced with real but deficit choices. There staff was so professional and kind caring people. I myself in a very bad position in life dealing with some serious personal things. Took that into there hearts too. Me knowing I was going to have to put her down was so gracious to me knowing in there hearts how proud of a person I am did something for me that brings me to tears just to even think about it. They gave me something back that I cannot even put into words how they made me feel at a time when I don’t think things could get much lower at Christmas time than I was feeling. I’m rambling on sorry but these people have no idea what they did for me at Avery low time in my life. There is in fact humanity and amazing good people left in these life. I can’t say enough nice kind good things about them and how they do business. Thank you isn’t enough. You have no way to ever know the amazing gift you gave me. After having one of the most horrific experiences with another emergency vet in the local area with the same dog two years ago. They put fath back into my soul about life. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!! Central coast pet hospital ❤️????

The end result was very positive but there was an extended wait time. This was frustrating due to the lack of any explanation up front. There were no updates in the process and we waited in our vehicle for an hour and a half. When the vet actually came out the procedure had been accomplished which was good. It took another ten minutes for the invoice to be processed. During this process my battery ran down and my car required a jump start.

Dr. McEnroe and his staff greeted us late on a Saturday night, so cheerfully and brightened our worried spirits. Our sulcata tortoise had hurt his front leg and we were having trouble finding any vet to treat him, as an exotic animal, much less someone open for emergency hours too. Dr. McEnroe was extremely professional, knowledgeable and caring. He had Leo (our sulcata tortoise) fixed up and ready to go home in no time, as well as all of our questions answered. We were pleasantly surprised with the very reasonable bill. We are very grateful to have found Dr. McEnroe and the Central Coast Pet Hospital and Emergency. On a scale of 1-10, we give Dr. McEnroe and his staff an 11.

The doctor and her assistants were great. The process to be seen was a bit longer due to COVID restrictions (not allowed in with my dog, had to wait in the car), but that’s understandable. Very thorough assessment as well as detailed notes given and emailed later as to the issue, the diagnosis and the treatment. Reasonable costs.

Rushed my Labrador in because he got into gopher poison. They took him in right away and kept him overnight for observation. They were very professional and empathetic.

I appreciate how kind and efficient the staff and vet were at 1am. However, I do question their "recommendation" to complete a series of tests and procedures that added up to $1000.00. Fortunately, we did not agree all of that was needed and took our dog home. A day later, our usual vet prescribed medication for our dog's cough, no tests or procedures needed, and the bill was $124. 00. He is so much better!! Sometimes starting small and seeing how the goes is the absolute best decision (treatments & money).

Highly recommended - I really felt this facility and the professionals I interacted with had sincere compassion for my pet, and we were treated very well. Rare in a world that is more challenging to find quality care for pets, or humans for that matter.

We brought our dog there late at night as she was having issues w/her bladder. Staff was very nice & our wait wasn’t long. Dr. Reed was very kind & explained everything clearly. We were relieved our dog turned out to be fine. Thanks to everyone there!

I came in twice in one weekend for my cat Eugene and they took amazing care of him! It was a very scary experience but they were there for us every step of the way and never let us worry. The medicine they prescribed is helping immensely and he seems so much better already. I wish they could be his normal vet too!

They took great care of my old girl she had blood in her urine and we had just arrive from out of town . I spoke to them in the afternoon and they gave me advice on what to watch for and said bring her in anytime. The next morning it was unchanged I called and they said come on in . They ran a few tests and she had a UTI but also possible a clot or tumor in her bladder . She seems fine other than the blood . They were kind kept me informed showed me a price break down and what they thought she needed . And told me to return if anything changed . I feel as though now when I come to the area camping I have a great place to go if I need to . Kona says thanks everyone for your help and kindness.

We talked with several staff members and the vet. They were professional, timely and did not try to oversell their services. Their cost estimate had a range of $200 depending on their diagnosis and treatment. The final cost was $200 less than the low end of estimate. One small criticism is that while we were waiting about 2 1/2 hours a quick update would have been great but they did have a steady stream of people bringing their pets in, and may not have had the time (our dog was not in danger of dying). Overall a very good experience. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

First time cat mom and my hyper kitty took quite a fall off of his cat walk. They were available to help me immediately, seeing my kitty quickly and assessing the situation with extreme attention to detail as well as a sense of the unseen (cats don’t always present their pain/injuries like other animals). The doctor had awesome communication skills and spoke in understandable language and was able to calm my nerves and alleviate any future anxieties I may have.

We’ve had to use CCPH&E twice this month, first to put our baby Maximus to sleep after a devastating heart condition, and this week for our baby Thor. They made Max’s end time a little easier, and I LOVE them for that! They are kind, understanding, patient, so much so I wish I could use them as our permanent Doctor for our other babies! We WILL recommend them to EVERYONE!

Very positive experience. I am an RVT, a veterinary nurse of 15 years, and just like everyone else, worry about my furry companions when they "go to the back", especially under urgent circumstances. I felt nothing but confidence when speaking with the front desk, nurse and doctor, that my little Pretzel dog was getting the best care possible. I was passing through Pismo on a road trip when my dog was bit by another dog at the beach and needed a laceration repair. I called ahead to notify staff I was coming, Pretzel was triaged and I spoke with the doctor shortly after about a plan. Pretzel got all stitched up and home within a few hours. So grateful! Thank you CCPH for taking such good care of my dogo <3

We were very concerned about our baby Cisco. We took him to Central Coast Pet Hospital because we couldn't get in with our vet until Monday. From the time we got there to the time we left the staff was wonderful and treated Cisco with care and love. The doctor explained Cisco's condition to us In a clear manner. We never want to be in the situation to take our pets to the ER But it's nice to know therei s an excellent one To take your pet too. Thank you Central Coast Pet Hospital!
