My experience has certainly been mixed. I received a service dog from them a little over 2 years ago, and his basic training is phenomenal. He listens well on and off-leash, he is extremely well behaved in public places, and he tasks most of the time, the key word being most. When I received him he wasn't even taught a command to look at his handler, which is an important part of the task I need him to do as he needs to pick up on physical cues - I had to teach him to focus on me myself. He also has a very high prey drive for birds and cats, which became an issue as I moved to an area with a multitude of feral cats. A shock collar was utilized in his training, I feel, in an attempt to suppress his prey drive. I feel it was a misguided decision to continue him in the service dog program as I've seen how strong his prey drive really is through the 2+ years I've known him. The dog I've gotten to know through these last couple years should be tolling through the fields retrieving shot pheasants, not attending college with me helping me get through day-to-day. I also feel the use of the shock collar has affected our ability to form a meaningful connection, as I feel he only listens to me out of fear. Regardless, I've grown to accept the parts of my dog that can only be managed and not fixed, and I am determined to make our team work for me and for him until he retires.

The biggest problem we had is our dog came home sick with Giardia the he obtained at the Doggie Do Good Camp. Our vet told us it’s highly contagious especially in a kennel setting like that. The staff was nice and the training was somewhat effective. They really push for the maximum amount of training days with a “guarantee” our dog came home and continued to dig almost immediately even with training reinforcements. So I wouldn’t say there’s much validity to the guarantee. It’s definitely overpriced to have the training not 100% effective.

Just dropped off our 1 1/2 year old lab, he's a big boy and needs some basic help. See how it goes.

Our service dog is in the middle of training, but it has been an amazing experience. I’m not a “dog guy” and was nervous with our family getting one. But he has made such a positive impact for my wife and kids. The staff is amazing here, everyone is extremely professional and kind. I highly recommend Doggie Do Good. They provide constant feedback and updates on how he is doing in training. If there is a problem area they feel he needs to work on they call my wife and set appts for her to go in a train with him side by side and build the strong bond. You can tell they really care about how strict they are on picking the right pups from litters and choose the best puppy raisers. So far I have zero complaints and will update and the process goes along.

I'm receiving a service dog from Doggie Do Good and they have been so wonderful and accommodating. I've gotten to visit my pup twice now and it's amazing. They give me updates often and let me send her gifts and toys :)

They are very knowledgeable and treat the dogs with respect, firmness and love. My dog was a hot mess, skittish, fearful, dominant and a nipper. He is 88lbs so that is a bad combination. He came home a well adjusted, confident, happy dog that follows commands and direction in a positive and willing manner. He is definitely a different dog and I am very very grateful for how they were able to turn him around. I will continue to use all the tools they taught me so my fur baby can continue to be a happy and well adjusted pup.

It’s been 3 years now since my dog Gus was at Doggie Do Good! Since then, despite a cross-country move, taking on a wild doggie brother and welcoming a baby, Gus is still the most well behaved dog I’ve ever encountered (I could/would not have been able to say that before/without Doggie Do Good)! While off-leash he still heels at my side. His temperament went from hyper and nervous to chill all the time! Despite having an untrained dog come into the home a year younger than him, with consistency and discipline Gus still retained all his skills! If we weren’t in Texas now, we’d have our younger doggo at Doggie Do Good too! Love this place and can not recommend them highly enough!

Loki spent 3 weeks with Doggie Do Good and the dog we brought home has been the best! Prior to camp he was nippy, loud barking and very puppy like. At 5 months old he is more mature, no nipping, no barking and is all around a sweetheart! He loves to chew on his bully sticks and is so happy to greet us when we come home or enter a room. Keeping up on the skills we learned from DDG has given us a well behaved dog. We are forever grateful to the team at DDG, you can tell they all love what they do. I would recommend DDG in a heartbeat to anyone looking.

This company performs a service that is in high need field. The training of service dogs is a long task that most are not willing to undertake. The training here is top notch. I have received training from them as well as supported them by raising/training a puppy for future service.

Doggie Do Good knows what they are doing. Put our two puppies through their three week boot camp, and haven't regretted it. Though it was extremely expensive, once you see the facility and their intensive training methods, you get what you pay for, and the results have been impressive. The staff obviously love what they do and the dogs get top notch care. The dogs haven't gone through some metamorphosis and turned into perfect angels by any means, but it's the hundred little things that make all the difference in the world. They seem calmer all around, more comfortable with their environment, and far more eager to listen to commands. Their 1:1 instruction with us was eye opening as well, and helped us really dial our own methods in. Would absolutely recommend to anyone thinking about it for their puppies!

This is such an amazing company. Everyone is so knowledgeable. So kind. So understanding. I was able to meet my service dog that is being trained and just lay outside and bond. Everyone came out to help and check on us. I was able to watch some of the group training done for camp and the dogs were happy. I watched people meet potential service matches, as well as, a class of people graduating service! I can not say enough!

Doggie Do Good saved my dog and my sanity! I have a naughty, hyper husky. After spending a month at Doggie Do Good, he now knows his name (I'm only kind of kidding) and basic commands. He walks way better on a leash and no longer counter surfs or runs away. He is still a work in progress, but Doggie Do Good definitely gave us a great start and taught us lots.
