HORRIBLE! Do not take your dog to this "groomer." I have a King Charles Cavalier and gave specific instructions NOT to shave her. I got her back completely shaved and her whiskers gone. I called the owner with my dismay and he said that was standard even after I gave specific instructions. My dog can't jump anymore due to her whiskers being cut off and she's depressed. The owner was very rude and was extremely demeaning by calling me "sweetheart" the entire conversation.

I've used their Doggie Daycare and grooming services for years. They're the best! They're the only ones my nervous dog will allow to groom him and clip his nails. He actually looks forward to his visits. Wonderful, caring staff.

First time getting my dogs groomed here, and I am hooked! They look better than they ever have before. No detail was overlooked. And to my surprise, they came out with complimentary feather decorations behind their ears! Absolutely the best groomer we’ve ever been to.

The groomers did such an excellent job at not only her physical appearance and haircut but her emotional state as well. She went in scared and shaking and came out so happy and comfortable. They were professional and following Covid standards. We will be back!

I took my Maltipoo for a haircut and the blade they used was too sharp and they scratched his neck, ears, tail, and parts of his body. I gave them a happy dog and I got a terrified dog back. I went back to the little dog house and I did not even get an apology from the employees.

Great attention to my dogs. I have difficult dogs to groom, with special instructions to keep in mind, and they always do a great job.

My main coin cat need a lil fur TLC. Sierra did a great job and my fur child was well taken care of and came back to me fresh to death! The only think I would have to say is timing of his drop off was a little disorganized, but they made up for it in caring for my gato! Thanks again! ????????

I personally love The Little Dog House. Every 3-4 months, I take my maltipoo to the Little Dog house, and every time she comes back, I am not disappointed. The Little Dog House always dresses up my dog in seasonal "outfits," small touches that include a flowery bandana, or a Halloween themed bow in her ears. The actual cut is incredible; it is even and everything is straight and short. I would highly recommend The Little Dog House!

They have great service and even though I'm just a volunteer I see how well they care for and how well they groom the dogs and cats.

A very professional service with a one to one talk about the grooming of the dog . My dog is high maintenance and requires total attention and his individual protection and safety from himself. The owners of Little fog house give him and other dogs VIP treatment as he likes to be on his own. This is a hard working group of professionals. And they collect and drop off.. Thank you ... My dog always comes back looking soo cute (and I love the bandana), but they can take quite a while because they are so busy. We took my dog in at 7 am when they had 2 or 3 dogs, and he has been there for 3 hours so far. If you have time to wait hours, they do an amazing job.

We love The Little Dog House! We adopted our Standard Poodle from them and were initially under contract to groom with them for one year. After one year, we continued to do our grooming with them because they are awesome! We drove from Los Angeles & havectried some groomers in LA but prefer The Little Dog House! We have a Standard Poodle and they are Poodle Pros! There’s always so many beautiful, well-groomed poodles there hanging our freely together! The staff is very caring & nice & professional!

If you want your animal stolen and neglected by one of their own employees this is the place for you. An added bonus: upon arrival to the employees' house she will tell you that she hasn't seen the cat in days. Ask the employee for her bag of food to shake around the neighborhood in hopes of finding your lost companion, and she will tell you she doesn't even own any pet food...

HORRIFIED AFTER COMING ACROSS THIS POST ON FACEBOOK. Update: It is with a very heavy heart I tell you that Merlin was found on the side of the freeway earlier tonight, deceased. The officer said that it looks as if he has been gone for at least a few days. My heart is breaking knowing that in his final hours he was alone and most likely frightened. My heart is breaking because my companion is now gone and I hate to have to tell you that the search is over. I want to thank everyone for the support you have shown. There were people that we hadn't ever met searching the area to find him. I had no idea what a big heart Santa Barbara had. It was even because of this post that we were able to find and identify him. So with the bottom of our hearts, we thank you. Merlin, little fur baby, you will be missed. You sweet thing. -- My beautiful black cat Merlin is missing and we believe he has been missing since at least yesterday, last seen in Oak Park area of Santa Barbara. On the 16th of December, I dropped my cat off to be boarded at The Little Dog House due to being evacuated during the Thomas Fire. They assured us that they would take care of Merlin and board him until we got back into town. I was uneasy boarding Merlin but I knew that it would be a safe place for him during the emergency caused by the fire. I finally went to pick him up yesterday, excited to see him after the long separation. When we got to the front desk, they told us that he was not at the facility and that an employee took him to her own house, without my permission or notification. We then went to the employee's house to pick him up, even though he should have never been there in the first place and that it seemed strange and very suspicious. When we arrived, to my complete dismay, the employee of The Little Dog House had lost Merlin and could not tell us how long he had been missing. We searched the house and surrounding areas for hours but we still could not locate him. When I asked the employee where his food was, in order to shake the bag to see if Merlin would respond, she replied that she did not have any. At this moment, I realized that there was not evidence of either a food or water bowl anywhere in the room that Merlin had been staying. He had been locked in this woman's room for at least four days before we arrived and there were at least seven other dogs in her home. The house was in complete disarray and it was inhospitable for any kind of animal to be living in. She had used a plastic drawer for his litter box even though we had provided The Little Dog House with his own litter box. The litter box she was using was buried under dirty clothing and clutter, rendering it inaccessible. I was so heart broken knowing that Merlin was missing and was so obviously neglected. Had I been asked permission for Merlin to be taken from the boarding facility where we placed him, I would have absolutely refused. He does not do well in environments he is not familiar with, as most animals are, and becomes very scared when he is around dogs, even more so when he is not familiar with them and even more so when there are multiple. He was lost in the Oak Park area of Santa Barbara, on the corner of Bath and West Quinto. If anyone lives near the area or knows someone who does, I ask with a pleading heart that you keep an eye out for him. You will recognize him by his sleek black coat and large, fluffy tail. He is unbelievably sweet and will snuggle you until you can snuggle no more. He was my companion and my heart is broken knowing that the people I entrusted to care for him were negligent, irresponsible, and so cruel that they allowed an employee to take him without our permission and then lose him. I hope that he is safe. I hope that he isn't scared. And I hope that he remembers that we love him. Please contact me if you or anyone you know sees a black cat in this neighborhood. PLEASE never board your animal with The Little Dog House. They are incompetent and irresponsible and I will never be able to forget the way they treated the animal that I love.
