Dr. Gratzek and her staff were great! I brought my dog in for a removal of a small mass on his eyelid and they were very professional. Communication throughout was quick and their online platform made everything streamlined and efficient. Affordable and fair with price and the nurse Danielle did a great job explaining all of the post-procedure care instructions. Thank you!

While traveling to Aptos from Berkeley I felt as if on a last ditch pilgrimage to Lourdes try to get a diagnosis and treatment for a recurrent swelling under my dog's eye. But Dr. G. saved the day! I had spent a fortune so far on different tests, trying different vets, but none could give me a diagnosis and after draining it, the swelling returned. Yet they still charged me. The bone was getting eaten away. Dr. G. looked at it and gave a diagnosis with the first few minutes. It was a rare type of cyst she had only seen a few times. I returned a week later and she drained it and put in a substance that is used on women's varicose veins. It worked! Hurrah and thank you Dr. G. It was worth the travel!!!!!

I brought my dashund in on 12/31 for a hard to diagnose eye problem. The care he received was exceptional All staff (including the receptionist) were kind and professional. I received clear and understandable explanations and instructions and would highly recommend their services.

i would only trust Ophthalmology for Animals of Aptos for my pets personal care. They saved our dog from eye surgery and are an amazing group of professionals.

Wonderful, compassionate and very professional took care of my poor pup on an urgent basis and were very generous with me as I had some personal challenges. God bless the great staff as well. ????

I love Dr. Gratzek. First, she treated my poor old dog (R.I.P, Tofu), and years later she treated and fixed my young, aggressive rooster, Step! We thought he would be blind forever after his retinas detached but nope -- she totally fixed him. Also, she seems to truly love her job, which is the key to being an awesome vet. She also might be the only vet I haven't gotten into an argument with, which believe me is quite an accomplishment!

Houdi, our beloved Chihuahua loves this place - but maybe it's the treats. Meanwhile, his only remaining eye is under their tender care and doing quite well. Professional, learned, kind, and not horribly expensive. Recommend them for your animals too.

Great response to the animals and their situation. Wait time for the appt? Was I in a regular Dr office? Took too long! Too many dogs in too small a space. Made me nervous for my girl that was already stressed out.

Everyone here is great! Dr. Gratzek saved our dog's vision when he required emergency surgery, and then treated his complicated autoimmune condition, even assisting his internist (not kidding, he was very sick) with his diagnosis. And the vet techs and Autumn behind the counter are all wonderful.

Dr. Grate is a hoot! Her office is where you want to go if your pet is having eye problems. She is extremely knowledgeable and doesn't miss a beat. Thanks Ann!
