A good hospital, with caring staff, and great doctors.

Blu, my 4 month old puppy injured her front paw when she jumped off the couch, which required a visit to the Vet Hospital. After thoroughly examining her, it was determined there wasn't any damage to the still developing growth plate, which was great news. she had a fracture though which required a leg bandage, sort of like a soft cast. The staff at the hospital always treat me with the utmost respect and provide top of the line care for my furry little gal. They do all this with the most heart warming, caring and compassionate manner, that makes the injured feel safe and cared for. Y'all in that hospital are awesome..keep up that kindness ????????‍????

I called on a Wednesday morning, to see if there was availability for my elderly kitty to be seen, fortunately for us, they had an opening for us. Very friendly staff, and the doctor was informative on the status of my kitty. The bill was on the hefty side but was to be expected due to the tests they had to perform on her to get the most accurate information on her condition. I have used this Veterinary office for several of my animals, and I have never had a bad experience. I highly recommend.

This is a nice facility. The Doctors, especially Doctor Tom, are very thorough and nice to work with. However, their prices are out of this world! We pay more to go to this facility than what is charged in the Bay Area ! More reasonable pricing is offered for their boarding. I recently picked up my dogs who stayed with them during the Christmas holiday 2021. When I got home, my dogs kept pacing and barking at me. I ignored it for awhile until they persisted. I finally figured out they both were begging me for water! I couldn’t believe how much they drank and wanted more! Now, I do realize that sometimes your animals will refuse to eat and drink when left at boarding. But, mine have stayed at Angels Camp Vet multiple times! I decided to call them and spoke to their office manager. I told her that my dogs acted very different after picking them up this trip and I wanted her to know that maybe they had been knocking over their water bowl a few times during the 7 days they boarded with them. She immediately got defensive and angry with me and told me that I was not listening to her and said that there was absolutely no way they would have overlooked that! I suggested she walk back and look as maybe they had new employees and maybe the water bowls could have been overlooked a few times! She would have none of it. She told me that she had heard that I was a complainer and that I was FREE TO FIND ANOTHER FACILITY ! I have Never called them to complain and asked her what she was referring too. Maybe she had me confused with someone else?? No response from her, just silence. Ok, I definitely got your professional message - loud and clear.. Too expensive. Way better vets in the area.

My wife and I were camping in Angels Camp (as we often do) with our 7 year old Chihuahua. Unfortunately our dog was mauled by a much larger dog. This was at about 4:45 and when I called Angels Camp Veterinary Hospital (ACVH) they indicated that they close at 5:00. After hearing my story they agreed to stay open to look after my dog. Upon arrival we were cheerfully greeted by a member of the staff where they whisked my dog to the back to evaluate him. As we already thought, the injuries were bad. They explained the process thoroughly and gave us a rough estimate of cost. At around 8:00 we recieved a call from Dr. Sasha to give us an update and let us know that our dog would be having surgery and spending the night. He ended up spending 2 nights. We recieved a call from Dr. Sasha or a staff member every morning and evening to keep us updated on his condition. Even after we picked him up and brought him home they kept calling to check up on him. The staff and especially Dr. Sasha are wonderful, caring and compassionate people. We are eternally grateful to them for bringing our baby back to health. Thank you, Rich, Trina and Tito

They actually care about you and your feelings as well as for your baby , i was so happy and felt so good after they talked with me about his issues and not money they gave me options and they started with the cheapest rate and then answered my questions and then we talked about different prices. This group of professionals is always On!! It's curbside appointments and these people are literally running all day to meet our needs and the needs of our animals.. they don't hurry anyone along. They literally stand at your car and are comfortable listening to us, problem solving with us... and then they take our beloved animal away to the inside and as they're walking away they're talking gently and sweetly to our babies!! And they do ALL this for us and our furry babies while having a smile, laughter and words of caring and sincerity. LOVES and many appreciative thanks Angels Veterinary Hospital. Sierra came away after a one day stay at the Angels Camp Canine Hotel as happy as she could be!!!! We are very fortunate to have such a place here in Calaveras County.

I have been going to the Angels camp vet hospital for over 7 years now. I started with Dr. MIKE when I got my new pups. He along with Dr. Lorrine have been my girls doctors. I have never had a bad experience at this hospital, everyone is kind and professional. But the best part is Dr. Mike. I have been very ill this year after having covid and had to keep canceling my appointments for my pups. Well I wrote an email explaining my situation. Next thing I know I get a call saying Dr. Mike will be st my house the next day to take care of my pups. We had the best time, he did a complete physical and they got all their shots. He brought his beautiful wife and my pups just loved them. In this day and age with all the covid and people being cruel to eachother, just know there are still good people in this world, and one of them is Dr. Mike and Angels Camp Vet Hospital! We love you doctor Mike!!! And Angels Camp Vet! Love Sophie and Chloe!!!! Your doxie girls!!!

this is a great vet hospital as our dog Harley was hurt. When we drove here the staff was very attentive.

Dr Taylor was so good with my two year old filly My horse liked her and was very attentive to her care. Angels Camp staff is the best. They took time and examined every possible diagnosis I can feel confident my horse is in the best health and care now.

They were very thorough and new what to do and didn't have to wait very long to get in

This veterinary hospital is amazing! Dr. Tom is super knowledgeable and quick to diagnose your pets needs and they have the state of the art equipment to run tests that were needed. My dogs will only be going here now. We were very impressed! Debra Carroll

I've been using ACVH for over 25 years. I've got both large and small animals and have never once had a bad experience. They are equally professional and compassionate and you can tell they love what they do. My animals are part of my family... I trust them implicitly.

I love this place for my dogs! We just moved into the area and everyone I talked to highly recommended this vet. I feel like our vet really cares for our dogs, and the individual time she gives my dogs and me is much appreciated. I purchased the puppy package for both my puppies, and I'm happy I did. Consistent care that covers all the bases. I've never been here pre-Covid, but I think their system is great. You pull up into the parking lot where they have put pop up tents so you're covered, and they come out and get your pet to bring in. My puppies were a bit confused and resisted a bit to leave mom, but the staff was so sweet and gentle and patient, and got them to settle down and come in. I'm happy with the quality service and care for my babies.

Everyone there is very caring and understanding how we treat our pets as part of our family and they talk to you and let you know what they're going to do or need to do you're very informative and very compassionate.

I live in the Bay Area and have a second home in Angels Camp. My doggie has had a couple of occasions where I had to bring her because of an emergency and that entire staff has always been so wonderful. They have alway accommodated us which I am grateful for AND after their services they ALWAYS follow up later in the day to see how she is doing, very personal care. I LOVE Dr. Tom too, he is so awesome. Lucky I found them.
