They messed up all paperwork on our puppy. They did not ever update our records and they mixed up the shots.Communication is lacking and the worst animal hospital I have ever come across. Beware.

Dr. Kim is a good doctor with a kind heart but the customer service needs to improve

Dr Kim is very nice and takes the time to listen to all questions and concerns. The staff is great and the prices are very reasonable.

I made appointment one week advance, but on the appointment day I called them. They said no appointment was made for my cats. Such a waste of time!!!

Was in and out in about an hour. Cost $28 to discover nothing was wrong with my baby (which is great). Doctor was polite and straight to the point. Got tired of the other pet clinic near here and I’m sure you can figure out which based on the reviews that also mention this one particular establishment. Definitely going back!!

Yes, they are busy. So is every other business that delivers quality service. Dr. Kim is caring towards all pets and is the most cost friendly vet I have been to. Although I now live in Mission Viejo we still take our pets up to Anchor.

Have been going to Dr. Kim's now almost since he took over Anchor Animal Hospital; almost 10 years now. At first I thought "this is the vet for me and my cat babies." Four cats have passed since going to his office and I am highly disappointed with the care he gave them. Dr. Kim over works himself unable to give quality care, to at least from what I know, mine and my families cats since his establishment has become crowded. He lacks personal care for his patients; example: although my princess had been seeing Dr Kim for years even on her last visit before passing he didn't know her name. I continued taking in her biological brother after and he still couldn't remember her name. As for my boy, mind you I had been seeing Dr. Kim for years. One time my boy had an abscess that grew. I had only enough for the office visit at this particular time. Dr Kim knew me as a returning client yet wouldn't give my boy a single shot he needed. I went home trying to treat my boys abscess but it got bigger and ate through part of his skull. Finally, I was able to take my boy back to Anchor. It was then I realized all my boy needed was a 50 dollar shot that would cause the abscess to go away. My boy spent weeks in pain and I constantly tried caring for his abscess only to be turned away for a 50 dollar shot I could have handed Dr Kim later since I was a loyal client. Years ago when Dr Kim was an attentive doctor I had referred my sisters to him for their cats needs. The end result is he seemed indifferent to their cats as well. Example: Recently, although both my sisters have been loyal to Anchor one of my sisters too ran into a financial issue. Her cat, biological sibling to mine, seemed to be dying. Hoping Dr. Kim would see her on an emergency bases as her vet because my sister didn't have the 250 to be seen my sister and her cat were turned away. Two hours later my sisters cat passed away. We have been loyal clients of Dr Kim's yet he has not been loyal to us allowing our companion animals to sustain further agony all because twice we couldn't pay right then. And let's not forget he couldn't remember our loved ones names. I knew I should have walked away years ago from this vet. Even though Dr Kim may Charge slightly less than other vets it's not risking your pets life for. In the end Dr. Kim only seems there for the money. Not the overall well-being of your companion animal. Me and my human loved ones will now take our remaining loved four legged family members elsewhere. We are completely done with Dr. Kim!! And as for people's comments about the office being disorganized, lacking in returned calls even in a life or death situatiin with a high turnover, they're right. Dr. Kim may have a nice side but he also has a not so kind side as well.

My kitten got her shots and flea medication here, it's conveniently located for me and so far it's been good.

Our second time here and it was great. The staff is amazing and friendly. The doctor is very informative and actually spends time explaining everything. Way better than my old vet (Stanton Pet Hospital) because they actually care. Thanks guys!

Currently trying to call them and they answer and hang up. How rude. We are just trying to get them to send some records to our email. We had already talked to someone but we haven’t received anything so we’re on round 2 trying to get a hold of someone. Wish us luck.

I've never in my life met a veterinarian that's so devoted to his animal patients in my life! This Dr. Aaron Kim is there from 9am and he literally stays there until 1-2 am performing surgeries.nhe takes care of my 2 cats even on emergency basis if I get there before a reasonable time like 4pm. An emergency vet will run you up in the thousands but Dr Kim is the most reasonable vet I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Thank you Dr! It's is sometimes a long wait but let me assure you if you want to drop off your animal you can and you'll receive a call. Last new years eve one of my cats had surgery and I had to pick her up at 11:30pm because there is no overnight stays. I actually love that, it's just like us humans, everything is out patient and get to go home without extended stays. I know my cats have appreciated coming home no matter what time of night it is. I think we all heal faster because it's home, the best place to be.????

We have been taking our dog here for the last couple of years and contrary to other experiences where they pretty much throw a high number to see how much they can get way with, not here the doctor is pretty honest and genuinely cares about the animals, by the contrary he will try to avoid expensive procedures unless absolutely necessary, his personnel is also very friendly, They can get overwhelmed by how busy it is at times.

I took my 2 cats in for routine shots and nail clippings a few weeks ago. They were very understaffed for a Saturday. But that did not stop them from pushing through and taking caring of my pets and being very friendly with me during the wait. You guys rock!

Best vet I've ever been too. Dr Kim was so patient and care with my two dogs, Waffles and Mochi, and they have the best prices I've been able to find.

The doctor is amazing; however, the staff is atrocious. No need to make an appointment, you will be waiting for hours anyway. No communication from the staff; completely ignored. It's a shame we have had to go elsewhere as the doctor is so loving, caring, thoughtful and attentive.

Usually long lines( even if you make an appt.) and very busy atmosphere. But the doctor truly takes good care of our dogs and very reasonable price. Worth waiting !!!

Love it, specially because they are not only professionals but most important, they care about pets. And the prices are good

VERONICA VALDOVINOS

The Doctor is very professional and patient, however the service is HORRIBLE. Kasey was very attentive and friendly other than that..... Be prepared to be there for HOURS! What appointment?..There is no point on having an appointment or planning to be elsewhere on time since you have to wait on the phone too long before anyone answers then you still have to wait even longer in the lobby and after more waiting... To be seen by the doctor.
