Affordable Animal Hospital Anaheim , California

Last time I tried taking my dog there, I called them about thirty minutes before they closed. My dog had somehow ripped his nail way below the quick and I was in tears asking for help. They told me they were closed and couldn't help me, to take him to the emergency hospital. Will never go there again nor suggest anyone else to go there. If you're looking for a good vet, try Nohl Ranch Animal Hospital.

My dog got fleas from here!!! My dog sat in there alone for 2 hours before being seen for his scheduled appt. I had to call for them to tell me he’s ABOUT to be seen and that he should get 2 vaccines that he’s already had. I GAVE HIM HIS VACCINE HISTORY CARD! Never told me his weight, name is wrong on the receipt even though I clearly wrote it on the paperwork, and all together this place is a mess. They don’t even know whose dog has what owner.

We were looking for a new Vet and found this place.. we are so happy we found it???????? Our Twinkie got her shots and nail trim.. the Dr. was super sweet and caring.. definitely recommend prices reasonable.. not too shabby ????????

I called to ask a question and the receptionist said she would ask the veterinarian as soon as she can and 6 hrs passed and nothing I called back and they put me on hold for 20 min I hung up called right back and they kept sending to voice recording saying they were closed. So rude!!!

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE, DO NOT COME HERE, AS THE VET (WHO CALLS HIMSELF TOLEDO) WILL NOT FULLY TELL YOU WHATS WRONG WITH YOUR PET. HE IS GOING FOR YOUR POCKETS IN THE LONG RUN. HIS METHODS AND WAYS OF PRACTICING ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, HE IS NOT RELIABLE ALSO VERY HESITANT. WHEN HE OFFERS TREATMENT FOR YOUR PET. THIS PLACE NEEDS INSPECTION DONE ASAP.

I have been coming to Affordable Animal Hospital before Dr. Toledo was the owner. He has been nothing but caring and concerned for all my babies. He even slept at the hospital with my first baby when she had knee surgery. ???? I moved from Anaheim and I still come back and use him as my vet! When my babies needed an expert in cancer, he sent me to an awesome specialist. I would recommend Dr. Toledo to everyone! Wouldn’t go anywhere else. ❤️❤️

I have been bringing my four dogs and one cat here for over 10 years and recommend this place to friends and family. I would never think that the owner would be so greedy and not even consider how many years of loyal business I have provided his company. Customer service is his last priority, very disappointed with our last experience, and the owner refuses to work the issue out in any wa.

I would recommend this clinic! I had my 7mo old dog spayed. I was a bit worried as she was already in heat, I just dodnt want to get taken for a ride in vet Bill's. Bu this clinic took care of our baby dog! Staff is friendly and helpful. Almost forgot: I live a bit of a ways from here, but this clinic was the only place within a 10 mile radius that actually gave me a quote on the phone. Most places near where I live(yorba Linda), took anywhere from 24 to 48hours to get back to me. It pays to have a staff who is competent! Thanks!!

The place seems rushed, they started off great but the last time I took my dog they clearly had the wrong weight, they were off by around 40 lbs. Don't bring your pets here they clearly won't receive the attention they deserve.

I would give Dr. Toledo, and his staff, a 10. +++++ rating, if i could. They were some willing to help. Dr. Toledo was very knowledgable about, Bailey's care. He was great. Bailey stayed over, night. Picked her up, with a clean bill of, health. Thank you, to. a wonderful Vet, Dr. Toledo and his great staff. For taking such great care of my cat! I love this little cat, so much!

Been coming here for a few years. My 13lb pom mix has big ears and therefore ear infections are an issue. I have him washed here and regular ear cleaning. I've had tooth extraction and board my dog regularly here. Boarding is hard to find in OC because everywhere else markets themselves as Luxury pet hotels. I just need a safe place to leave my dog where he'll be taken out 2x/day. And a wash on the day of pickup means he's super clean when I get home from vacation

If I could leave negative stars I would. The doctor was very rude and unwilling to help my friend’s dog who needed emergency surgery all because they went in too “late” in the day despite it being during normal business hours. I would recommend going somewhere else if you want an animal hospital that is actually compassionate about helping people’s beloved pets.

I just called because my kitten is sneezing the receptionist today at 6/9 9:38 am was inconsiderate rude a plain stupid DONT call or waste your energy time here !

I took my dog here who ended up having cancer and had to be out down. The staff always showed empathy and gave multiple options for treatment and care for the best quality of life. We moved an hour away and I will still bring my animals here because I know I can trust them with my beloved pets.

I took my step daughter's dogs to get fixed and get their shots. Vet was very nice and knowledgeable, staff was friendly and wait time was minimal. I took my dogs for itching and got flea meds. Really liked this place.

FRAUD! Read the reviews before going. Lots of reviews talk about how they raised prices once you arrive. I wasn't even there yet and they told me that the $39 exam quoted on the website is actually $45. I immediately cancelled. If that's how things are going to go before I am even there I can only imagine what will happen once the vet actually diagnoses my best friend. CONSUMER BEWARE.

If I could give this place a lower rating than one star I would. The reason why I wanted to bring lucky here was because were 2 miles (5 min) away, he needed medical attention. July 9,2019 @ 1:00PM- I actually called to go over pricing and what was the wait time in between patients. They said there were fully booked and even if we would show up, they wouldn’t assure us being seen! They should really reconsider there name, from my knowledge Hosptial shouldn't denied patients that desperately need emergency medical care when they go to a hospital!

Visited AAH when I got my first puppies. They had a little cough. This “affordable” vet was $258 for a visit and some cough pills, the care was bare minimum at least. I was told the visit would be comped if the dogs needed treatment and this was incorrect. I was better off going to a major animal hospital for better care. The place wasn’t horrible, but wasn’t great.

I love them. Kind, upbeat office staff. Dr. Toledo is very nice and really listens. Prices are definitely pretty great for Orange County.

Prices are reasonable if that's all you're looking for :-( they failed to perform are requested procedure, spaying a kitten and accidentally chipped one but couldn't recall which one. Very sloppy. Luckily no one died

Dr. Toledo is an awesome vet. He cared for my first baby Chico until his last day, he was very caring and understanding. He never pushed any unnecessary treatments. Appointments are easily available. I've now started to bring my new dog. I dont see myself going anywhere else for my dogs treatment.

I checked their website and they said they did new client's first examination for free. Big lie, I had to pay. The doctor hardly touched my cat during her "examination." He checked her heartbeat and that was it. He hardly spoke to me as well, he just came and gave her her shots and left. $90 was what I paid. If the doctor would have actually examined my cat I wouldn't have been so mad and giving such a bad review but alas. Don't recommend this place for vaccinations and examinations. Petsmart has a vet program with them that's 100% more affordable and effective.

My 13 year old dog was dying and her normal vet was in the hospital. I called Affordable Animal Hospital and asked if they could perform euthanasia on my 84 lb dog. I also said I want to be present for the procedure and I would take her body after the procedure. I was quoted $143 for the procedure. I arrived at the vet obviously upset and crying. I was then told that the price I was quoted was to not be present and if I wanted to be present then it would be $238 instead. Shame on the vet for price gouging at this most horrible time. I don't know why my presence should cost almost $100 more. It makes me wonder how humanly they euthanize animals when the owner is not present. I immediately left and took my baby to another hospital where they humanly and compassionately ended her suffering.

We been with Dr Toledo for a long time. Even though we moved to Yorba Linda 5 years ago, we still come to him. The staff are very nice. Dr Toledo is honest and very resourceful. He will not push unnecessary procedures or medications. He's very good at what he does and really cares his patients.

Affordable indeed!!! Awesome Vet and staff. My Husky Skye was hit by a car because he had found a way out of the house. No animal hospital was open early in the morning so I ended up taking him to a different place first which were also really good but pricy. My brother told me of this place in Anaheim, he made the appointment for me to take Skye. Place is far for me but it was worth the drive. The staff, and the Vet were great and the price was much reasonable. Of course also thanks to my family pitching in. What I would’ve paid for at the first place just on X-rays I received much more done at Affordable Animal Hospital!!!
