i loved it here they where so nice and able to take me in when i called after so many other locations wouldn’t take us in the price was far roxy need x-ray and they charge me about 180$ where the upland location was charging me 300$ they went over everything with me step by step told me the prices and other options the lady’s were so nice and doctor as well overall 5 stars roxy all better after the visit

I tried 5 or 6 vets to get my dog in the day before Thanksgiving. Victoria Animal Hospital was the only one who was able to squeeze her in. We just relocated here so had yet to establish with a vet and my girl was sick. Dr. Anwar and his staff took excellent care of her. I highly recommend them!

Rocky The DangerFloof had his first checkup today. Victoria Animal Hospital took great care of our Diesel-pup right up until his last moments, and we know they are going to take amazing care of The DangerFloof. They are kind, no-frills and trustworthy. The veterinarians and vet techs always make me feel like they are treating a human child. Seriously. It’s like a pediatric office…but one with pet food and doggie/kitty breath.

Rude staff and very unprofessional. The Vet Dr Magid Anwar himself said "find another office". All I requested was if they can skip out on an extra test I knew my dog didn't need. My dog just needed eye drops for an eye infection (I didn't mind paying the exam fee since there is nothing over the counter that is antibacterial), yet they wanted to run an extra test on the eye for any "damage". I knew he hadn't come in contact for any damage to the eye, plus it was both his eyes that were infected, not just the one. I would think I had a voice on whether I wanted the test done or not, but nope, they wouldn't give me the medicine without it. And okay, that's one thing, if they had to do it so be it. I didn't deny, I just voiced my opinion on how the test wasn't needed. But to go the extra mile and be so rude about it. Really? From a professional "doctor". And on top of that, the desk girl up front already had his file printed before I even requested like they want to lose business. So sure, I will find a new office, and I suggest everyone avoid this one as well.

Dr.Anwar and staff are all so caring with our 5 Precious family members. I have been coming here for over 11 years now and would not go anywhere else, so if you’re looking for a Great loving Vet Dr.Anwar is the Vet for you!

My dog and I had an excellent experience at Victoria Animal Hospital. We usually go to LA where our vet is located however I recently found out about Victoria animal hospital which is great because it’s close to home and the people, prices and services are fantastic. My dog Lucky had an injury and VAH was able to see him that same day. The vet is very caring, thorough, professional, compassionate and understanding. The workers were all kind, super helpful and very friendly. The prices we’re very reasonable and they offer so many other services. I will definitely be back to Victoria Animal Hospital.

Update: Tried deleting my post but can't figure it out so I changed it to 3 stars for now. Giving them another chance tomorrow with my dog since they called and gave a sincere apology for the rudeness when our rabbit died. Hoping after tomorrow I can update this to 5 stars... Our beloved family bunny Lemon died today and I called this shelter to ask what to do with her. The receptionist was cold and rude. Never once said sorry about our family pet and just started listing prices for cremation. She didn't listen to half the things I said and I had to repeat the same information over and over again. My husband went to take our Bunny down there afterwards and the same woman was rude to him and told him to wait outside even though there wasn't a single person in the room. Maybe the vet is good? Idk, but I would never go here again just based off of the girl working the desk. Sadly we are all devastated our bunny is gone and this place just made the day even worse. One of the staff members called after my review and apologized.

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Anwar for quite a while now and I completely trust him. He keeps up on everything new, has a scientific mind, & obviously loves animals. During this pandemic especially, the whole crew is so warm and friendly and efficient and accommodating. Their COVID Protocol is amazing and I feel very safe there. I recommend Victoria Animal Hospital to my friends. The whole staff is really great and all of them seem to really love animals. They also have an amazing groomer, Lori. My little dog is sooooo happy when I pick her up from Lori.

Do NOT NEVER EVER go to this vet! I had an appointment to take my dog for her check up exam and her rabies shot. The appointment was set for 11:15am. I arrived at 11:05am. I was told to wait outside with my dog. A male vet tech came outside asked me a few questions and started to take my dog. I asked what was going on and he said that I could not go inside with her. I told him I was never told that and asked him why and he said it was because of COVID. He said there was only one dog ahead of me and turned and walked away. That was it. No other information at all about what to do, how long to wait, NOTHING. An HOUR later I called the front desk from the parking lot to ask for an update. The woman who answered the phone said it would be another 30 minutes and that the doctor was running behind. I told her it has already been an hour and the appointment was just for a rabies shot. I also told her I was frustrated because no one told me when I booked the appointment that I was not allowed inside with my dog and that I would have to wait around outside. She interrupted me and said "Excuse me ma'am, but we are a hospital and everyone knows there are no visitors allowed in hospitals". I told her that is not true and that is not the point. I told her that the point is that NO ONE has communicated clearly with me. No one told me I couldn't go in, no one told me it would be over an one and a half hour wait, all I want is communication. I told her I was upset and not sure I would come back. Her response was "That's OK". Obviously this clinic not only does not communicate with you but they also don't care about keeping you as a paying customer/patient. I then told her I was walking up to the front door and to bring my dog out to me. I walked in the door about 30 seconds later and she was telling the back office people that I was upset and wanted to take my dog and leave. She (the front desk clerk with blue hair) turned to me and said that my dog was just getting her vaccine and would be done shortly. I told her she just told me that it would be 30 minutes and now miraculously it is done? She was very rude, had an attitude, and said "Ma'am! I told you it would be 30 minutes because I didn't know and didn't want to tell you an earlier time and it be later". I asked her to please give me my dog so we could leave. I KNOW my dog did NOT get an actual exam from the vet. He never talked to me and I never saw him. If the receptionist said it would be at least 30 minutes then 30 seconds later my dog is magically done they obviously are lying. They probably just quickly gave my dog the vaccine without an exam so they could charge me the $55. The second I told them I was just going to take her somewhere else, all of a sudden my dog is done. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!! They are unsafe and just want money. They do not communicate with you at all! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

I have been going here for years.The staff is super friendly and Dr. Anwar is my favorite vet ever. He explains everything and and makes you and your pet feel comfortable. I can go on and on with how well they treated me and my pets.. When my cat passed away they were very compassionate. Dr. Anwar did everything he could do and more to make my cat comfortable in her final years. They made a hard time a little less painful. Thank you for all that you have done! We appreciate it.

I bring my 8 month old puppy to victoria animal hospital. They are great, Tabatha is very kind and always helpful. Dr. Anwar always takes his time to answer all of my questions and concerns. I drive from Glendale to Rancho Cucamonga because it’s worth it! Thank you guys for you hard work and for always taking care of Lola!

Pricing for diagnostics was provided prior to any examination by a veterinarian. Any doctor should always speak to client and examine animal PRIOR TO any medical tests diagnostic(s) being recommended to the patient. The facility appeared more concerned about the patients ability to pay for recommended diagnostics and treament prior to any Veterinarian examination to provide a diagnosis for condition. It appears that vet technicians are doing the work that should be done by the veterinarian. I don't appeciate when clients dog is removed and taken to "back room" for bloodwork or other care. I want to remain and stay with my dog, at all times and see that care is being given. You reallly don't know the care and condition and what is being done when your dog is separated and removed from owner!! The separation of animal from client must stop. I want to remain with my animal to see what is being done. I don't want to be separated from my dog during my visit to see the veterinarian.

I took my soon to 12 yr old boxer into the vet thinking I might not be bringing her home. The vet called and made me feel so at peace that she had plenty of life left just needed some pain mgmt. The staff was excellent during this pandemic and being safe as well. My 1st time here and I have found the veterinarian for my dogs ???? ????

The staff at Victoria Animal Hospital is very caring. They took great care of my boxer, and they have also taken great care of my Yorkie and my kitty. They follow up to make sure your animal is doing fine. Their prices are reasonable.

I needed to find a vet for my new 8 week old beagle, and trying to find one during this pandemic was tough. There were a few that were taking new pets, with Victoria Animal Hospital being one of them. From the initial phone calls I felt an immediate sense of comfortability with them. They answered all of my questions, even gave me additional information, and didn't once give me the impression of trying to rush me off the phone. The appointment was even better. Although we couldn't go in the office, there was no shortage of communication. From the staff answering questions on a personal level (because she had a beagle, and had some tips), to the doctor calling me after examining my puppy. Again, he spent at least a good 15 minutes on the phone going over any and all questions that I had. He did so with an eagerness to put me at ease and never gave the impression of trying to rush me. Honestly speaking, I was only going there until I could get in to the vet where I take my guinea pig, but they have made me a life-long client because of how much I have liked the experience so far. If I could take my guinea pig here, I would, but he's considered an exotic pet. I hope this review helps whoever reads it :)

I do not recommend this Clinic. I would never go back there again. Very Unorganized and not friendly office. My appointment was at 10:15 AM. I dropped off my dog at 8:00 AM for her exam and bath. They told me, they were going to call me when they were done. At 3:00 PM, I called to find out what was going on and they put me on hold again as always for about 10 minutes and Vet tech told me that they just did the examination which was 5 hours later and her bath was not done. They explanation was they they were too busy. I picked up my dog and went to another clinic. I would NEVER go back to this clinic again.

Love this place. I brought my first cat here and then got a second cat and tried a vet closer to my house and wasn't happy, so I now have both my pets at Victoria Animal Hospital. The doctor and techs are very friendly and they always are willing to provide me with the cost upfront so there's no surprises.

I had to wait outside and didn't have the privilege of meeting the doctor. I did however speak with him over the phone. His voice was kind and reassuring. This is one office that Will not take advantage of you financially. I told them I was on a fixed income and they worked with me. I recommend everyone to try this hospital out for your fur babies.

We have had 2 recent experiences with Victoria Animal Hospital recently and both were wonderful. One we had to let go of our very sick Calico cat my wife and I adopted 15 years ago. They were sweet and kind. Explained what was wrong with our little Tabitha and helped us thru the process. Thank you for that. Second we took Gracie our pure bread AKC registered Golden Retriever to have her fixed. They were professional and kept us informed all thru the day. Price was reasonable and I love the way they care about animals. Thank you so much for your love and caring for our animals. You all are the best!
