Would not see my pet one of many vets I would not recommend to an enemy

Most places will make follow up appointments at the time of your current visit... this place doesn't nor do they follow up with phone reminders. ...

These wonderful people have been taking great care of my animals, and the random critters and pets that I have brought in for many years. The prices are very affordable and they care so much. Thank you so very,very much!!! That was from 8 years ago. Dr. Hackett is not there anymore and the new people are in it for a buck. I won't be going back.

The best vet we've ever had. I'm sorry to leave (we've moved). When one of our kitties was too sick to live, they were SO kind and caring.

They are all wonderful there. We have been taking our dogs their for over 11 years. They have been with us at the beginning and at the end. They are all so caring and go the extra mile to help.

Pet Owners Beware! This place has been sold and changed hands. Service and treatment now are horrible at best, dangerous to your cat or dog at worst. The girls now manning reception are inept and ignorant, and often rude and unpleasant. The journeyman "vets"- there is no regular full-time doctor- are erratic and unreliable in attendance and performance. If you live in east county- Alpine, Descanso, Guatay, Pine Valley- take the time to drive into El Cajon for safe and competent veterinary service. If you do not, you will regret it- and pay an inordinate amount for it to boot.

They were great helping my poor boy and updating his vaccines. The veterinarian was great, front office manager needs to work on her people skills. We found her to be a little rude but will be back as the rest of the staff were amazing and you can see their love for animals.

Taken my cat and now 2 dogs here they're great the helped my cat feel better STAT, fixed my dogs umbilical hernia and are helping me nurse our new pup back to health love them and recommend them.

It's the best vet on east county

My neighbor's dog attacked my cat rusted to Alpine vet and the cat now you would never know that she ever had anything wrong with her

Friendly, knowledgeable and reasonable costs. You can see that the staff really do love their jobs and care for all animals.

They're genuinely awesome people who love animals. They always want to watch out for the animals' interest and mine too. That's what set them apart from other vets. Many times they'd help me at the last minute without any notice. I'm so thankful for them.

We have been customers of alone Veterinary Clinic for nearly 20 years. They are friendly, caring and very reasonable on their rates. You cannot find better caretakers of your pets!

Wonderful people - really care about animals, excellent service

They've always taken good care of my pets. Neutering, shots, checkups, they've done a great job and very informative. Luckily I haven't had any emergencies to have to take them in. But they'll be my first place to go if I need to

Caring staff and excellent care of our pets!

Excellent this far, are prepared for rattlesnake bites and caught what two previous vets missed on my kitty. Excellent pricing as well! Will update as I get more familiar with the practice. My kitty is there for a week, and every call thus far has been handled very well with concise and complete responses to all questions. They care and it shows! Follow Up: My kitty is doing very well now. She was at the vets office for 15 days and pricing was far more than fair, and I couldn't be happier. 5 stars very well place and beyond earned!

This Pet Clinic actually cares about the animals that they take care of. We've been going there for over 25 years and have never been disappointed. I would recommend this Vet Clinic to anyone who lives close especially those in Alpine. Dr. Hackett's staff are wonderful to work with and when we had to put our cat down they were so kind and caring

This isn’t the place that lies. That’s Alpine Country Pet Hospital with Doctor Brar. Alpine Vet Clinic, across from the post office and run by Dr. Hackett, is amazing. Connie works the front and is wonderful, as is Doctor MacDonald. I’ve been bringing my pets there since I was a little girl, and they have always taken great care of my fur babies. They need to charge more money, they have such great rates.

I have been a customer for years and actually split my time between Northern and Southern California. I make it a point visit them whenever we are here. The Dr.'s and staff are very kind and good with my "kids". I have complete confidence in their services!

The staff was supportive and sincere while I had to have my best boy euthanized and for that I thank them.

This place is completely about money and not your pets well-being. They lied to me about who they were to try and get me to bring in my dog. They should have told me I had the wrong number but instead confirmed that they were my Vet and made an appointment for me. My dog was dieing from stomach cancer and was in a great deal of pain when I showed up to my Vet they had no clue why I was there. I thank God that they were able to get her in and take care of her. I had to put her to sleep one of the hardest things that I have ever had to do. I can't believe in a time like that they would behave as such. I'm truly disappointed in this business. Kim

Best veterinary experience ever! The staff was awesome! I got Clive from a family who had allergies and needed to get rid of him.Took him in to get neutered and shots. When he had a slight reaction to the anesthesia (and/or stress) causing an eye problem, they treated him at no cost, offered to keep him for observation at no cost, called me daily to follow up and see how he was doing. I've never known such caring people. A wonderful place to trust and take your beloved pet.
