Fabulous experience. Doggo was here for 8 days and came home happy, well exercised and extremely content. Owner of the ranch was very accommodating. It's not easy to get to, but it's certainly worth it!

I’m gonna start by saying I’m not a person who uses kennels for my dogs. My dogs have never needed them. I searched high and low for a place that has no kennel boarding. I was referred to Alpine Dog Ranch! It’s a place that dogs can be dogs. A camp for your furry family member to have the best time while your away! Hikes, swimming, socializing. It’s the hands down BEST place for your Pup to go. My Malakai had the best time at the ranch. She made lots of fur friends and came home so tired. Thomas made this experience so calming for Me. This was a big step seeing as my Mally had never been away from Me. He sent me updates and pictures and reassured me that my Pup was fitting in well with the pack. I have found my forever camp for my Mally. If you are looking for a place for your dog to go and have the best time while your away look no further. This place is a dog heaven! Why board your dogs in kennels all day when you can send them to camp, to Enjoy nature and the outdoors. Thank you Alpine Dog Ranch for giving Mally the opportunity to enjoy your camp!

The best place for my dog and I highly recommend for anyone who wants there dog to have fun while your away.

Our dog Rosie always has a blast when she stays at Alpine Dog Ranch. Last time we had her dropped off (great service by the way) and she started crying as Jacob left the house.... Great place for an active dog they get to hang around loose throughout the day rather than being locked up all day. We know shek had a great time while we were gone and she always seems exhausted when we get her back. Great location and Thomas the owner is a great person. Highly recommend boarding your dog at this facility! Thanks for always taking great care of our dog.

Our cattle dogs have stayed at the ranch twice this summer for a total of 3 weeks and they loved it! If it weren’t for the hour drive from Encinitas they would stay with Jacob and family every time we travel.

Our German Shepherd, Ranger, has stayed at Alpine Dog Ranch many times and he loves it!! He is overly excited to get there and exhausted from all the fun when we pick him up. It's a great place to leave your pet while you're away.

Left my two pups here for 8 days during the holdiays. One of my pups is very cautious and nervous around strangers. Jacob was fantastic with her. They were both so happy, excited, and understandably dirty when I picked them up. This is an amazing place if you are considering boarding your pup and want them to have the freedom to run/play all day long. Much better than the alternative of staying in a cage most of the day. They definitely enjoyed themselves and I will be using Alpine Dog Ranch in the future for any boarding needs.

I have been bringing our Golden Retriever to Alpine Dog Ranch for over 10 years now and it is the best place for a dog to run around freely from 8 -6 pm every day. We left her for 27 days this time and she enjoyed playing in the water near the waterfall they have, playing with the other dogs and enjoying being trained by Thomas if needed. Why would you have you dog stay in a cage when she can run around on huge lot and get some exercise. I highly recommend this place to anyone whom cares for their dogs.
