They didn’t really help me diagnose my pet They had no idea what he had , they gave him med for the itching and then something else for a allergy then wanted to charge me for some other tests , Hes still the same…(the vaccine didn’t work) I wasn’t there present to even see if they actually put it . I payed $ A lot and my cat is still the same

After years of being a patron at this facility, the other day they denied me from buying my dogs prescription food because his yearly check up is overdue. I explained that I could not afford the check up at this time because I lost my job due to COVID related cut backs at my job. I had enough to buy him the food but not enough for both the food and the check up, they offered me no solution. Go elsewhere where your pets are valued. I will never again use VCA mission.

Called in to see if I could bring my 7 week old baby to get her second round of vaccines but there’s no availability until May? I’ll keep looking.

Took my kitten here for diarrhea treatment. I had asked if the formula could be the problem. The vet said he didn't think so. They did run a test on the BM but it wasn't conclusive. The kitten was given meds. On the fallow up appointment, she still had diarrhea. I asked again about the formula. His response was Could be. I asked if I should try a different formula and he said if you want. He also said the kitten should start eating wet food. Personally I didn't think it was wise to give wet food if the kitten has diarrhea. That should be fixed first. I changed the formula, all good. Waited two weeks before introducing new food. This I did without vet advice or knowledge. I just treated the kitten the same way I did my son when he had colic. It worked. They are nice people, but they need to communicate better at least.

What a wonderful experience today. The doctor and his team went above and beyond to work my cat into their schedule when they learned he was 18 and very sick. Great experience with these compassionate professionals. I highly recommend them and am so grateful.

Everything is good, BUT 1) why 1-year rabies cat vaccine cost me $61??? I checked online, the cat rabies price range is from $20-$50. My old animal hospital costs me $25/cat, and most animal hospital online prices the rabbit $25-$30. I have three cats, and no one told me the $61 price until I got the bill. 2) I only asked for vaccines. I have my pet physical exams several before, but VCA Mission added the physical exams without my permission, and it cost me $$66/cat.

Poor service from administration manager who tried to submit a bogus claim after having a disagreement about price and then bogusly claimed improper touching of one of her employees while I was holding my dog for shots. Ridiculous claim the employee brushed against my arm. Beware of your dealing with this manager who negatively influences her staff with evil and vicious me2 claims against males.

Took my daughter snake there vet didn't have to many snakes but showed use how to get the tick off are snake with a paper towel.

These hustlers make you do a pet examination before boarding your pet. Never heard that before. I see you guys are really trying to make ends meat. I dont get why vets in socal really try to hustle. Not looking out for pets, just their wallets. Avoid this place.

The staff is very friendly. Not a long wait when you come in with an appointment. We really like them compared to our old vet

I LOVVEEEEE this vet. The staff is soooo sweet and knows their stuff. I can see their passion pour ou by the way they treat the fur babies. Dr Kapplin is THE BEST!!

Such friendly staff. They even text you the next day after vaccinations to see how your pets are doing. Sometimes it’s a long hold but everyone needs to wait their turn to be helped. Make sure to bring a credit card. They don’t have much change on hand.

Updates my review after an year. My cat’s leg broken, and she didn’t have insurance. Doctor checked her, even though her bone was fine, VCA still recommenced me to take an x-ray + surgery which was over $1200 Then my friend recommended me another hospital. Spend $75, my cat is fully healed. VCA is a great place for vaccine. But if your pets have any serious problem, go to another hospitals.

They were super kind and took good care of my cats. It's not the most inexpensive veterinarian I've ever been to but I wouldn't say it's expensive either. Would recommend to a friend.

Love this place... I feel comfortable to leave my 5 months old Frenchie here for day care. Dr Kaplan is great and the price is very reasonable especially for whole day, Day care . I love when they texted you the day after he got all the vaccines and checking on him. Highly recommend this place and this location.

The people who work are super nice. But. I have an issue. They wanted to do an surgery cost over 500. The vet looks at my dog less than 5 min.. said she had a painful foxtail... and I didn't have that on hand..but i did take an 2nd job at night delivery food to help. Yes I do have the record.. so the workers are super sweet super sweet called to check text... Awesome ????????????.. but one night her body temp goes up we rush her to another vca that was open at 8 pm. The Dr comes in. And really really really really takes her time looking at her foot. Said hold on I don't think it's a fox tail. I'll be right back. She takes my dog to the back .. comes back 5 min or a bit more. She said ok I made an incision no fox tail but you have a great puppy. She didn't clench. Growl. Nothing. She said it could be she was bit by a but or a cyst. But no fox tail. No surgery.. and paid 85.00. and my dogs foot is back ????% better can't tell anything was wrong. Keep in mind they are very sweet but I'm not sure about what goes on behind. Because my dog was in pain badly for a week and this vet could have looked better at her. Less than 5 min... Just sad. I wouldn't recommend the vet. It wasn't cool... Yes I do have all documents bills etc...
