Iit was awesome all the fish tank the Water is so clean and clear all the fish Looks healthy the staff really did a Good job.

It's a small but convenient place to shop for all your pet needs the staff who work here are really great and very knowledgeable

TERRIBLE customer service, Makayla is who I was approached by and from the moment she spoke to me to the end of the conversation I didn’t feel this was a safe environment for my dog. She blatantly yelled to her coworkers “ I ain’t doing this Yorkie haircut I’m off in a hour” she was unnecessarily rude and I will be sure to not allow anyone of my friends or family to go here

Mkayla Summerfield was a total jerk. The moment I stepped into petco she was absolutely rude and yelled out to her co workers she isn't going to assist me with my puppy's grooming cause she's off in an hour. This was the worst experience I had at petco and will not be returning and will be sure to let family and friends know about this individual at petco.

Kid enjoyed seeing all the animals. Had everything I was looking for for pets but a bit disorganized. Also not their fault but dog pooped in the aisle we were in :(. Thankful to have a store like this in Alameda, a free aquarium of sorts

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! Save the time do not bother with bringing your animals here. Not sure where they get their employees from but seems like anyone can get a job there. This lady named Makayla Summerfield has the ugliest attitude inside and out! Go get a job elsewhere if cannot deal with customer service! SIMPLE.

I had a very poor experience with the grooming department in which I was ten minutes late I have never been to this location and stood at front desk for almost 3 minutes asking for help when I did make it to the grooming department she told me I was at the grace period 215 exactly then she spoke for the other groomer who acted like she didn’t know how to speak for herself and decided she would only bathe my puppy. I have never been treated so poorly and the readiness to dismiss us was beyond me. I will never be back and I hope somebody bites the hell out of them both.

If you're looking for reptiles are looking for any type of small pet I would suggest you go to Petco great place to be environment atmosphere is awesome in the people that work there or very cool chill and lay back

Kiki is the best groomer

Tried to place an online curbside order. Called to verify it was ready, was told it was but that one item was out of stock, though it showed in stock on line. Was told I could pick up the remaining items and wait until Thursday to see if the out of stock item would come in on their next shipment. Ok.. so came to the store to pick up the items and was told it was not ready! Could see the items I needed on the shelf and asked if I could just get the items rather than wait for a staffer to pull it from the shelf. Said, I could but they would have to cancel my order and I would have to buy again in the store. Why??? I did not want to cancel my order, still needed the out of stock item. So I didn't cancel the order and just bought the additional items again. When I get home, get a text saying my original order was canceled. WT! And now I keep getting daily spams saying I need to pick up the order. What? I thought it was canceled? Get your system straight! Also found the young staff to be unhelpful, unresponsive and unknowledgeable.

You have an employee there who for some strange reasignar seems to pick on me every time I've shopped there. She follows me around and just scolds me on everything I do, Esther my más is too loose on my face or telling me that product doesn't beling where I put it back even though it's were I picked it up from. She just doesn't seem to care for me. I don't want to even get close to her to look at the name. Saturday she was in the training area and kept looking at me as if I was going to take something. I feel attacked by her. She has realizado short almost shaved head and just not very pleasant. Yeah, don't think I'll be going back there. For her sabe and mine, at first I thought it was a one time, two time thing but it's not. Mayb3 I'm masculine for her presence, I don't know anymore but I will take my bussiness elaewhere from now on

Bring back the cats:( I love this shop cause of the reptiles but one of the big things I miss was the cats that yall had in pens to be able to be adopted. Also the employees were nice.

The staff were incredibly helpful and understanding of our needs. They were very knowledgeable and able to point us in the right direction. My only disappointment was the slightly small selection of things like dog beds, water bowls, and collars, but I think for less picky people it would be fine. Thank you for preparing us for our new pup, Petco!

We are new first time cat owners and we felt very taken care of with advice and assistance with what to buy!

Variety of products and courteous service

It’s hard to find people to help you and when buying a fish they don’t let you know that you already have to have a fish tank running with a filter for two weeks or one week with the filter so I had bought a fish tank and now I have to go back two weeks later to put the fish in because they will die if I don’t sense I didn’t already have a fish tank running

It's a typical Petco full of supplies, food, and toys for all types of pets. They support fish, amphibians, birds, reptiles, dogs, and cats. They usually have good deals on dog food. Stop by for an easy shopping experience. Also, they require masks in stores and generally seem to have good COVID safety.

Good selection for my aquarium needs.

I went in late yesterday to buy food for my chameleons. My 4 year old was with me. He had an emergency and he was denied bathroom use. I was told to go to Chipotle and use restroom there.

Every one was knowledgeable, and of great help.

The toy section is smaller than I'm used to, but it's a good clean store with friendly employees.
