Dr. Ashley helps me take better care of my pup. I switched to her about a year ago, after a not so great vet experience. She has helped improve my dogs quality of life. I appreciate and trust her judgment when it comes to my pup. Thank you Dr. Ashley and also your lovely team.

Its wonderful to have such a empathetic and knowledgeable veterinary scientist who is open minded enough to provide non-conventional and innovative care to your pets.

Don’t even bother. They aren’t accepting new patients

This place is very shady! Take your dog somewhere else! They charge 2-3X as much elsewhere and try to trick you into paying for things that were not administered. Look very closely at your bill and make sure to ask for a detailed bill when you leave so you have proof!

I am so thrilled with Dr Ashley ( 1st name ) she had shown nothing short of kindness not only for my lil guy , but she is concerned of my well being ! She has taken such great care of my fur baby, & the staff is also just as kind . I admit , 3 years ago was rough at this location , however as soon as Dr Ashley arrived it was ???? % for the better . Cannot imagine ever taking him anywhere else .

Took my sister’s dog here to get vaccinated. They made my sister prepaid $85 for the exam, however when I got there they gave me a $250 bill. I repeatedly told them the exam had been prepaid, they tried to ignore me. After they finally removed the $85 exam fee, they tried to make me prepaid for deworming, and I told them no, my sister will paid for that if she wants to but I’m just here for the vaccination so you can charge her for that when she brings back the fecal sample if she wants. They told me the deworming was $88 and the vaccination was $77 and they were going to give me 2 free meds for ticks and fleas. So I was like fine, I’ll pay $77 for the vaccination but I’m not paying for anything else. Left the clinic feeling like I just dodged a bullet. Came home and told my friend that I pay $77 for the dog vaccination and my friend said that is pricey. I then showed him the receipt and he said I paid $24 for the deworming med and the vaccination was only $52. By now I’m furious and could not sleep all night. Early in the morning I called the clinic and they said I agreed to the deworming. Why would I pay for deworming when my sister’s dog did not even get tested for worms? I’m contacting the news station to expose these people scam! I’m going to make sure this is seen all over social media so that no one has to go through what I went through! I’m so glad I documented and took evidence of everything. They are lucky this is not my dog, if this was my dog, all hell would break lose!

Wow, where do I even begin. I’m only giving this place a 2 star because Dr. Ashley is nice even though she failed to explain the parvo vaccines steps to me about my puppy. My main concern is the tech named Stormi. She has a very biased attitude. She displayed unprofessional behavior to me. I do not feel comfortable with her around my pets after this last visit. She completely ignored me when I asked questions about my puppy’s next round of vaccines. She refused to let me speak to Dr.Ashley. This clinic is only acceptable because of Dr. Ashley’s positive attitude. The techs are all pretty rude but Stormi is by far the most unprofessional healthcare worker I’ve seen. Overall, I will be looking to switch vets because I felt extremely disrespected and lied to by so called healthcare professionals, including Dr. Ashley who failed to advise my pets parvo series during my initial visit. Please be careful when visiting this clinic.

I have only seen Dr. Ashley once due to Covid-19 and owning a now 2-year old kitty. Nonetheless, anytime I have questions, Dr. Ashley responds to me in a timely manner. Her response time gives me great comfort as a new feline parent.

Dr. McCaughan is a great listener and took the time to discuss all the options for my dog when she was having her "issues". During the pandemic, it was really hard to not be able to have in person appointments, not being able to see her examine my dog. But she spent extra time on the phone after the appointment, explaining what she found, answering all my questions, and making the appropriate recommendations. My dog's and my experience with her was exceptional.

I really appreciate that she offers options for treatment with information about what all the options mean. Her main concern is my pups comfort and wellness. She is friendly and an excellent communicator.

I am so glad I found Marina Village Vet. It took a while to find a professional, caring and extremely informative Doctor for my little guy. As a dog mom, my #1 priority is his well-being and safety and I truly trust him in Dr. McCaughan (and her entire team's) hands.

My dog is 12 years old and was chattering. A previous vet said it was probably neurological and that there was not much to do about it as he is an old dog) Dr Ashley took the time to evaluate him; he had a loose tooth and needed an extraction and a cleaning. Hopefully I will have several more years with him. Thank you.

Having spent a lot of time at MVV both as a client and as a staff member, I have a ton of appreciation for the excellent care we've had from Dr. Ashley and Dr. Christie. Both are intelligent, thorough and insightful practitioners who bring all the tools to the table. Whatever is going on with my dogs, I know that they will be able to evaluate them and propose a plan of care based on best practices from a wide range of modalities, from the traditional to the cutting edge. Their skill is matched by their compassion and commitment to providing our critters the same standard of care they would provide for their own pets. You are in good hands at Marina Village!

Dr. Ashley is one of the most compassionate, intuitive and engaging vets I’ve ever met. I would trust her with anything. She is a vet for life.

Dr. Ashley was kind, patient, and extremely helpful when working with my cat who has had ongoing severe allergies and inflammation. I came to her desperate to figure out what was going on with him and how to help. She spent so much valuable time with me discussing his case, our options, providing insight and information on testing, and and working on novel treatments. She took more time with me and poured more thought into my cats health than any vet I have had (and my poor kitty has been to at least 6 vets trying to help him with his condition). Everyone I spoke to at the clinic, from reception to the vet techs was helpful, kind and considerate. I cannot recommend Dr. Ashley or Marina Village enough. I have had pets all my life and they have been hands down the best vets I have brought my pets too. I am so grateful for their help and guidance!

Dr. Ashley is fantastic and both my pups are always excited to go see her. The entire staff is great and has been working extremely hard to take care of all our fur friends as we all got more companions over the last year.

Dr Ashley and her staff are very professional and treat each animal as their own. From the first time I brought my dog to Dr Ashley over four years ago, I felt very comfortable with her. She listens to every fear, question and concern and allows time to process everything. She is very knowledgeable in holistic medicine and integrates traditional medicine when warranted. What I really appreciate is her interaction with my dog, making him feel comfortable with her. My dog loves going to see Dr Ashley!

Dr. Ashley McCaughan at Marina Village Vet is my go-to guru for all things my dog. I appreciate her hybrid-holistic approach using both Eastern and Western methods and treatments. She explains things very clearly and keeps up-to-date on new research. I have found her to be very responsive and resilient throughout the difficulties of running a practice with all the COVID restrictions. Would recommend highly!

First time there yesterday. Took my pet rabbit for chiropractic care and acupuncture. Dr. A was amazing. And the staff is great too.

Dr. Ashley is the best — she takes care of all of our pups and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We always appreciate her thoughtful and loving care.

I have been taking my dog to Ashley McCaughan, DVM, for a few years and can easily say she is the most caring and knowledgeable vet I have ever seen. She is well-grounded in alternative treatments, but never hesitates to recommend traditional medicine when warranted.

Dr. Ashley is such a delight and treats our cat with care. She takes time to listen and understand our concerns every time we visit, without rushing or forcing treatment on us. Always provides options and a clear opinion on best choice, and we have had continuous success with her recommendations around diet and stress remedies. Cannot imagine going anywhere else and a huge relief when we finally found a vet here that we love - it only took 6 years ????

Dr. Ashley is such a compassionate and knowledgable vet! She really listened to our concerns; she had lots of suggestions; after the call we felt we had some solutions. She's very popular, but it's worth the wait to connect with her directly.

Dr. Ashley truly cares about ALL her clients - 2 and 4 legged alike! She is careful, methodical, and respectful when treating my dog, Lola. She always follows up with me after assessing Lola to discuss any special circumstances and provides options if further treatment is needed. She’s very professional and very invested in the well-being of those she cares for. Thank you, Dr. Ashley!
