Petco Poplar Bluff, Arkansas

I called to see if they have a specific fish I was looking for. They had it and I drove an hour and a half to get there just to find out they have decided to change their hours and close early with the only notice being a sign on their door. I got there in plenty of time if they had the hours posted on here or the same hours as every other petco in the area. They also failed to mention that they're special and close early when I called. Total waste of time except I ended up going to Petsmart where my husband got some fish.

I like the place nice clean but they didn't have wat I was looking for this time

Well. Just not going to pay that much, for literally everything on your shelves. Support your local pet stores.

I brought in an old Apple Mac laptop that was given to me. He had it repaired and ready for pickup that same day! His price was more than reasonable. Highly recommend him! I will be coming back for future computer needs!

The fish guy and the guy with blue hair are both super nice and helpful. They both seem very knowlegable about what they do. I heard a rumor they got their pets from bad warehouses that abuse animals, but I was glad to be reasured by them that they are very picky about the pets they receive and that they take every sick or injured animal they own to the vet, no matter the cost. Made me much happier to know they take care of their animals well. Edit: all this time Petco has been so amazing to use. Harley really went above and beyond for me tonight and I can't thank the staff enough with how often they have helped me out. Everytime I go there, they are all amazing.they really deserve to be acknowledged for all they do.

Loads of help w my fish, free water testing too! Very recommended even though cost is higher, ur 100% guarantee even 30 days on fish also!

Don't go on a Sunday. I walked around the store 6 times looking for an employee. The one time I came across one, she was on her phone and wouldn't even acknowledge me. I even started looking sketchy and acting like I was stealing. Will never be back. When I asked the cashier the managers name.... She didn't even know it. Sad.

Had a great time at the Poplar Bluff MO PetCo! Staff was knowledgeable, place was clean and well-organized, and my Siberian Husky loved it!

So this is the second time I have come here for frozen feeders and the frozen case is not even remotely frozen. To the point that the bags are leaking ???? how many times have they been frozen and thawed? I can only assume the frozen feeders are all rotten.

EDIT 9/12/21... I placed my on-line order, but there was an item I wanted to shop for in-store. I got there before actually receiving the e-mail letting me know my order was ready for pick up. I paid for the items I got, and asked the young man if my on-line order was ready, he checked, it was not, (but that was ok), he went and got it for me right then!!!! I wasn't expecting that!!! Another PLUS for PETCO!!! The entire process was smooth, easy and convenient! Petco is the only store, locally, that carries the supplement I need for my pet! I am VERY pleased that I can order it on-line and pick it up in the store, same day!! Thank you!!

Not many animals were kept in cages

I went in to buy a frozen feeder for my snake and the frozen feeder case wasnt even cold and the feeders were thawed and leaking

I HAD NO PROBLEM, I FOUND WHAT I NEEDED AND CHECKED OUT FINE.

Pet stores are very expensive, this was no exception. They carried a large variety of top line foods and were very helpful.

Has a lot to choose from, and the employees are very helpful and friendly.
