The staff was very friendly and helpful. The establishment smelled clean and was not dirty. I felt safe leaving my dog there for a few days and instantly knew I made the right choice after picking her up. ????

I LOVE this place. My boyfriend and I came through Memphis in the course of our road-trip from California to Pennsylvania and stayed at a hotel right across the street from Mutt Island. We wanted to enjoy the foodie parts of the city without leaving our pup in the hotel room to get anxious and bored so we dropped him off across the street! The process was super easy and the staff was super inviting, kind, and professional. They made us feel super comfortable and safe leaving our doggo in their care. We left him for a few hours and came back to a happy, tuckered out pup who kind of weirdly smelled better than he smelled coming in lol. Mutt Island made our stay in Memphis as amazing as it could have been. Absolutely five stars

My dog stayed here for daycare while I was traveling in the area. He had a great time and was nice and tired when I picked him up. I appreciated how efficient and responsive they were. Easy drop off and pick up. Central location to downtown. He also seemed to be in a good group relative to his size (he's smaller). Thanks for taking good care of my baby!

We're on a road trip with our dog, and were unable to plan ahead for when we would be arriving in Memphis. I reached out to Mutt Island this morning to see if they could accept a dog same-day. They got back to me quickly, answered all my questions, and had the paperwork printed and waiting for me when I arrived an hour later with my dog. My dog is a senior and I thought a bit tired from traveling, so when we arrived they offered to let him have his own space with water if I thought he'd be too tired to play - I loved that this was offered and can think of situations when I would have preferred it - but not today! My baby did the standard day care, and when I returned for pickup the owner recognized me and went to get him right away. He came out prancing around with a wagging tail so it seems to be dog approved! I was able to get a brief review of his activities as well. They do require proof of standard vaccines, and they have an "evaluation" process, which was very quick and straightforward - didn't take any time out of our day!

So far so good. We left Marvin for an extended weekend, after we picked him up he seemed very tired. I wanted to make sure that he loved the place so, before we went on our next trip we drove Marvin to the place to see what was his reaction. Marvin jumped out of the car to the door to go in! MARVIN LOVES IT! We are happy.

These guys really came through for us when we were stuck in Memphis with car trouble and 4 dogs! Huge facility with friendly staff. Our pups were very happy going to Mutt Island. Highly recommend this place!

Mutt Island is incredible! Stan and his staff are so friendly, and have a really easy system for picking up and dropping off our dog. Our dog loves going here, and two days a week really helps supplement his normal daily walk because he gets so much exercise playing all day with other puppy friends. Our dog is also really nervous around people when he first meets them, but they go the extra mile and work hard to gain his trust (they called it peanut butter therapy!). They also offer boarding, which we just used for the first time since adopting our dog, and we're extremely happy with everything they do. If you need a doggy daycare, Mutt Island is the place for you!

We recently went to Memphis on a last-minute vacation, and Mutt Island was so easy to work with and accommodating! When I dropped off my pup, she wasn't thrilled about being left behind, so I called to check on her later and they assured me she was outside running around with the others. A little while later, I received a video and picture of my dog having a grand old time! Not to mention they had her out and playing long after the day care dogs left, and again in the morning before we picked her up. I can't thank them enough! I wish they had this place in Chicago.

I really can’t say enough good things about Mutt Island, the staff there have been a lifesaver for me as a single dog mom! They take amazing care of my dog and pay so much attention to detail. They’re super flexible and willing to work with you financially, plus my dog always comes home worn out and so happy! I board and do daycare, and always feel confident in my dog’s well being when he’s there. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing staff & service! After moving from a house (with a fenced in backyard & dog door) to a studio apartment, this place is cost effective, family owned, and my pup is as happy as ever! I was even over charged once (I didn't even notice) & they called me immediately to let me know. I would 100% give more stars if I could.

I have been taking my dog here for 2 years and he absolutely loves it! The staff are very friendly, professional, and personable! I couldn't recommend Mutt Island Dog Daycare more! You can rest assured your dog will be well taken care of in a safe environment!

Dogs are amazing and these guys know that. In addition I feel that they basically love our dogs as much as we do. Anytime we have to do a last minute trip these guys are the ones that we can count on to take care of them.

Our dog has been coming to Mutt Island for 2 years now, and he loves it! Seeing him excited as we pull up for doggy daycare reassures me that he is treated well here and has a blast. We also board and have our dog groomed at Mutt Island. We’ve always been very happy with the service we receive. Thankful to have Mutt Island downtown!!

We were traveling from out of town and staying at the hotel across the street. We realized we forgot our leash, and stopped in to find one. The gentleman who helped us gave us a leash we could use, and would not take any payment. Thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness!!!

My family was traveling through Memphis for the day. We couldn't miss the opportunity to visit Graceland, but what to do with our 18 month Aussiedoodle for the day? We found Mutt Island through a quick Google search, and loved the convenient location. With little notice, Mutt Island let us know immediately we could drop off our dog for a few hours. Spacious spot, friendly and responsible/responsive folks.

Mutt Island is the best doggie day care in Memphis, hands down. The excitement that Abigail (English Bulldog) shows when we pull up to her “school” is priceless. I always take her off the leash and let her run to the door, even though she can’t open it. Heather and her crew are like the dog whispers. The dogs are usually on their best behavior and super quiet until it’s time for one to get picked up. The facility is also super clean and secure which means that they take pride in what they do!! Our pup loves coming here! Recently moving to Memphis I thought we would have to try out a few daycares to find the right fit, but to my surprise Mutt Island was the first and only one that we needed. The staff is very friendly and great with the puppos. Highly recommend!

Deeply appreciate the great service and care my dog recurves here! As well as the service they're willing to provide to human counterparts. As with any boarding experience, you worry for your pup, but after boarding and many daycare visits I trust she is good hands. An additional shoutout to Madison for going above and beyond to bring my dog home when my flight was delayed and I was unable to pick her up.

My Bella loves coming to Mutt Island. I’ve never had any issues even when leaving her there for a few days! I always recommend this place to anyone in the downtown area. I am moving to MS, but still plan on going out of my way to bring her to Mutt Island since I still work downtown.
