For a Buffet it's excellent. With that said, at this place, the service was excellent also.

I would actually give them a zero, if possible. I reached out in desperation trying to get my dog in a better situation than I can offer. The answer I got was, we absolutely don't accept that breed. No recommendations, nothing. Simply, " no, absolutely not". Way to go HSCC!! Now, I see why you get terrible reviews!! And your spelling is terrible, by the way

The crew at HSCC clearly love the animals in their care. Every time I go in, they're doing something to benefit the animals, be that cleaning, playing with the animals, talking to them as they do other tasks, etc. The animals always appear healthy and happy as they can be in a shelter environment. Definitely stop by. You won't regret it.

Me and my friends went to take a kitten that we found. When we walked in there was a dog laying on the table like he was dead. Then we saw multiple animals in their cages looking very sickly or just miserable. One dog was whimpering so loud and he looked so miserable. I get that they take abandoned animals and that could contribute to what we saw but I still strongly believe that they mistreat the animals. They simply act like they do not care.

If I could give zero stars, I would. As soon as I walked into the building, it was absolutely heartbreaking and upsetting, I could've cried. I understand they do what they can with what they have but it didn't look like their best. There were all types of dogs and kitties that just looked so sad and out of it. Even the kittens in the front of the building just looked miserable. The women there were just unbothered it seemed like. I understand you can't do much with an animal but there just didn't seem to be a whole lot of love going on in the place. The literally had a dog, belly up, and what looked like he was on anesthesia, just laid out on the table where anyone and everyone could see. There's no back room? Where's the respect for him/her? I absolutely didn't feel comfortable dropping off the kitten we rescued but my friends and I just couldn't take care of Mittens anymore.

Honestly, a sad excuse for a pound. Are supposedly “overflowing with animals” but refuse to adopt a dog to two loving individuals just because they don’t have a backyard? Although the dog we were wanting is under 50 pounds, is Neutered, we have approval from our apartment complex, AND one of us doesn’t work so we’d be with him 24/7. Will turn away loving homes so they can beg for money on Facebook.

When we first walked in all the dogs were whimpering and scared, and they didn’t look taken care of. The place smelled which would seem understandable since it was animals, but it was very bad. When you walk in there was a dog literally in the table under anesthesia while they were eating at the same table. I don’t recommend getting a pet from here, and I don’t recommend bringing a stray here.

My dog escape and was gone for a month I checked the animal shelters the woods everywhere.. I decided the stop by Clark County animal shelter. She had been gone 30 days. The lady in there told me she had my dog there for 2 weeks. She said several people were interested in her because she was such a Well behaved dog. When I went in there and found my dog she asked me if I had any proof that she belong to me. I told her the dog was chipped. If she would of checked the dog to see if it was chip, it would saved a lot of problems a lot of emotions a lot of crying and a lot of disappointment. I even tried to volunteer To help out, I was told I was not needed. What's the use of spending money for a chip if there not gonna use the machine to detect if it has one or not

Great experience adopting a dog today!! The staff was super nice and helpful. The adoption fee is very reasonable, especially considering dogs have shots and are spayed or neutered. I also liked that they made sure a wormer regimen is established before allowing adoption. You can tell they really care about the animals, now and in the future.

Wonderful place to find yourself an animal companion. Plenty of cute cats and dogs to choose from. Even if you don't want to adopt quite yet they welcome you to take their dogs for walks.

I never thought I'd see the day that I would own a pet again but that day has come and this was the first place I went! The facility is well-kept and the staff is so genuine in their care, and made this transition very very smooth! Supporting them is a very worthwhile cause, animal lover or not!

This one of the best no kill animal shelters in Arkansas. Amanda and her crew will go above and beyond to help an animal in need. Can’t say thank you enough for Amanda’s help throughout the last few years with various stray cases. Also a huge thanks to her faithful volunteer crew for hours of tiring but rewarding pet care! Please consider helping this shelter out by donating or by volunteering an hour or two.

They are taking food donations as well as monetary donations at the warehouse on 7 the. Street. This place is near and dear to me. Please help

I love all the improvements and how well they are taking care of the animal shelter. The animals are all well taken care of and they seem to he generally happy, considering the circumstances. My family and I plan to get a puppy from them soon and I would recommend everyone get a dog or cat from the animal shelter....let's save these defenseless animals.
