Horrible and overpriced for what you get. You never know who will be the one grooming your dog. One occasion the newly hired young girl cut my puppy’s nails into his quicks, making him bleed. He was trembling like a leaf scared to death, once she handed him to me. Her response was “he didn’t like it, but I’m stronger,” as she smirked at me. They comped me for a free nail trim, but I didn’t trust them at that point. Should have listened to my gut. Another time a newly hired woman carried him under her armpit and when he got home he stunk so bad that I had to shampoo him. Total waste of time and money. Also wasn’t impressed with his choppy grooming. I’ve since been grooming him myself & he looks great & no longer afraid!

We have been with Karabu for years. One of our Pups is OK with Groomers the other one (Buddy) is a little "difficult " The staff works with both of them with the utmost in care. We highly recommend Karabu. !

Did a great grooming on our little dog. We are from out of town and they kindly sqeezed us in.

When I first brought my dog they did great but second time was awful. My pup was happy to be brought in but when we got her at first everything seemed fine until later that evening. We thought maybe they clipped her nails back to far because of how she was acting but it kept persisting. She wouldn’t beg for food like usual and she would just lay down and did not accept treats. Later at one point I tried playing with her only for her to whimper. That’s when I noticed a lot of nicks on the back of her head and between her shoulder blades. Whatever the groomer used (I’m guessing a sharp brush) they were really rough to the point it was ripping her skin up. She’s gradually getting better but I’m never bringing her back. Whoever groomed her did a really bad job to the point of hurting her. I’m sure she resisted because there are multiple spots that are scabbing up and are still open but it seems they didn’t bother to stop or check on her. I’m sure usually they do a fine job but this time no and I’m not risking this again. We brought her in September 24th around 8am so which ever groomer was on that day I sure hope you’re more careful and conscientious. If whoever is reading this decides to bring their dog in make sure to check and see if theyre alright or just go to a different groomer.

They did a great job! I do all my dogs grooming myself besides nail trims (he is very squirmy and has black nails so I leave it to the pros!) because I have had bad experiences with groomers in the past. The last time my dog got his nails trimmed at a different groomer they cut the quick on a few of his nails, so I was extra nervous trying a new groomer. The actual facility is far from fancy and I was a bit nervous when I pulled up, but I was so wrong! I guess I needed a reminder not to judge a book by it's cover???? Both groomers I met were nice as could be, and they were so fast with his nails! It usually takes 10-15 minutes but he was done in 5 and they did a better job than others I've been to.

We highly recommend Karabu pet grooming. They are wonderful, kind, caring people. They did a great job grooming our dog, and trimming his nails.

They are so good with both my German Shepherds. I cannot cut their nails myself with a village of help. They are so efficient and fast. They were recommended by another nurse I work with. I LOVE this place.

First time and so glad I found this gem of a place! Friendly on the phone AND in person. Fast and pleasant drop off and pick up for a nail trim, very pleased! Staff is always friendly!

Brought my husky in today and I am soo happy with this place!! They did a beautiful job and were so kind, even though she was being difficult for the blow dry! (dramatic husky of course????) They took their time and my furr baby came out relaxed???? such a positive and stress free experience (for both of us!) compared to other groomers I've tried! We will definitely be back and I'm recommending to everyone I know!

The guys are absolutely amazing! Have done a brilliant job. Unbelievable qualification and skills and they truly adore dogs. I have received my dog Stella with a scarf and a bow on her neck (she looked like a Christmas gift). The haircut was done like I wanted: I have a shih tzu mix and asked to do a "puppy cut" - not too short, head in bichon frize stile, leave tail's hair - her tail looks like a chrysanthemum flower. But they definitely exceeded any possible expectations. My dog looks cute and adorable - can't stop to pet her. I paid $75 (anal glands cleaning, ears cleaning, nail trimming, bathing, anti-ticks bathing, haircut) - there was an additional charge as far as they did additional laundry after Stella's ticks treatment. Great professionals and perfectionists. Highly highly recommend!

We love Karabu! We’ve been bringing our Maltese, Cotton, there for years and he always looks so cute (and clean!) after they groom him. They also take great care of him while he’s there, as he’s a pretty anxious pup.

I rescued a very large very old dog from PACC, it seems he may have had an unhappy life bc he had a bullet in his back leg, terrible arthritis and very dirty. He could barely move about. After a month of diet exercise and love, i was desperate to have him cleaned up. He was greasy and wollered best he could to ease the itching. Not many groomers were interested in helping. When i finally found Karabu, I called and Patrick, the owner was very sympathetic, listened to his story and I took him in that day. Lord have mercy, i could not be more pleased. Old Charlie came out w a new pep in his step. Karabu went over and above what I ever expected. Very kind and caring family of dog people. I will forever be grateful and take any animal to them.

Friendly staff and affordable prices! Been going to this place for five years now and I can't see myself getting my dogs groomed anywhere else. Professional yet friendly service and the owners are absolutely angels.

It’s to bad I’m not being allowed to post my picture, I think that would be enough of a statement. What was done to my long haired Shih Tzu was lazy and completely unprofessional. The poor guy has such a mangled cut that as it has grown out he has worse mats than ever because the lady who cut him obviously just cut him didn’t detangle, could it be because I told them I was just passing through town? Could of been I’ve never had a poor poor haircut on my one year two month old in his life. 2 stars

I've been taking my schnauzer here for 3 years now. When I first moved to Tucson, I took my dog to petco off river. However, they would always tell me they never did his feet because he would try to bite them. I don't know what they were doing to him at Petco, because he doesn't have that problem with the groomers at Karabu. Also, they did a great job with my new puppy who had only been groomed once before. He can be a little jerk and they were able to groom him with no problems. They're affordable, friendly, and good at what they do

Kara and Natasha are very talented, and incredibly patient with my older dog. I've taken out dogs to them for years. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

So I just got them grooming at Karabu Pet Grooming on Grant in Tucson. They look so gorgeous. I'm in love with the groomers who did for them. I really recommend to go here, but just let them know you don't like shaving but just scissor trim only.
