Very caring. Vet was thoughtful when prescribing some meds for my dog.

Always appreciate care my dogs receive here. Even my fearful dogs receive great care here without causing them undue anxiety. Vets and techs take enough time with them to minimize fear-based behavior. And also appreciate being given options for diagnosing and treatment especially for more challenging conditions. And have even had dogs taken in on short notice for emergency treatment when regular vet unable to see them. Really like the vets and staff here! They exhibit professional and caring attitudes towards pets and people.

Extremely unsatisfied with this place. Was asked if I was willing to come in with both my dogs, then at the door asked if I was willing to wait outside (clearly no internal communication). Had 1 dog get a bunch of vaccine shots. I was under the impression the rabbies form would be mailed to me (wasn't aware they fill it out in office and give it to you on the spot) so obviously that didn't happen. Had to call to get it emailed. It's been a month and I'm still waiting on the heart worm and stool sample results. Which is really nice considering all the mosquitoes we have from all the rain. And by "waiting" I mean "Don't ever expect to get them at this point". And the vet I dealt with had this "I'd rather be anywhere but here" vibe oozing off her. Glad you took my money and didn't provide the services I paid for. That's what the BBB is for though.

Very clean, friendly, professional, my dog loved the staff and veterinarian. Very happy with my first visit

I have been pleased with the visits. However I think it is unreasonable for the humans to wait outside in the summer. It is not good for cars to idle or the environment. Many vets are allowing the humans in now. We can wear masks.

Briarcrest has been my vet of choice for many years and many pets. From new puppies and kittens to end of life care, they have been warm, attentive, and compassionate. I highly recommend Briarcrest.

I used to take my dog here all the time when we first adopted her but my mother recommended another vet and said the prices were so good so I tried to go to the other vet for a few visits, but I decided to come back here! Everyone has their preferences but I love all the doctors here and I feel that they take such good care of my little girl. They are more patient with her and really kind. The rooms and facility is also really nice and not noisy, cramped, etc like others vets. Also personally I've found the prices to be very good, about the same as any other vet and they do a wonderful yearly exam with shots, bloodwork, etc all included for a great price. I will continue to go here! Thank you :)

Briarcrest was recommended by a friend and I couldn't be happier. They're extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and affordable. They're always willing to answer all my questions and made sure to check in and see how my pets were doing reach time they had a medical issue. I'm a first time dog owner and they were willing to answer all of my silly questions. When our dog was limping they called in a specialist as well, to make 100% sure we made the best decision for her. They give our drugs treats and have a "no fear" policy and my dogs aren't afraid to go inside. I highly recommend them and I'm so grateful for their help :)

I have had my beloved Chocolate Lab Lupe cared for by Dr Collins since she was 6 months old. Her Professionalism and Compassion for our furry family members are beyond appreciated. Words cannot express my gratitude for her and her amazing staff. Lupe is right at home each and every time she visits. A million thank you's, until next time ????

We were not happy at our previous vet, so based on input from our friends I called Briarcrest. Just based on that phone call, I scheduled an appointment. We were very impressed with our first visit. Welcoming caring staff and Dr. Maki was thorough explained all we needed know. I look forward to taking our labradoodle there for care.

Just moved to this area near briarcrest. My dog is sick so I called in to make an appointment. They took my name down then asked if I’ve been there before, I said no, and they went on to say they’re actually not accepting new clients and to try another vet. Ok, you don’t want business and you don’t want to help a sick dog, noted.

Had an emergency with one of our greyhounds. Despite being booked, my dog was worked in. Staff is always friendly and professional. Clinic is diligently following safety precautions. Dr. Maki is the best diagnostician of any doctor I've encountered. She is also kind and always generous in taking taking time to discuss and explain my concerns about my dogs.

I called as soon as the clinic opened to make an appointment for my dog who is currently sick. The person who answered was really nice and set me up for an appointment the same day! When we arrived, we were seen very quickly. The tech was very nice and my dog felt very comfortable with her. When we talked to the vet, she was also very nice, provided different options, and answered all my questions well. I will definitely take my dog there in the future if needed. Great people and great service!

I went here for a 2nd opinion with my dog who was told he had valley fever from Pima pet clinic although they diagnosed him correctly they didn't do much else. So I went to briar crest and spent another 600 dollars on tests etc for them to tell me he was fine n just experiencing side affects from the meds .

My dog hurt her leg and I called every single vet in town and nobody had an appt Until 2 weeks out or even offered to place me on a cancelation list. I called Briarcrest and they closed 1.5 hrs from when I called. Barbara answered my call and she was the sweetest person and you could tell truly cared. She asked the dr if I could be squeezed in and the dr was kind enough to give me an appt. She had wonderful insight to what was going on with my dog and they were very cost effective. I was extremely pleased and grateful for the staff at Baiarcrest. The tech was also very kind and personable. I will defiantly be back and I recommend highly to anyone who needs a good vet who doesn’t just up charge you to make more money off your pets health. Thank you so much!

I have used Briarcrest for all my pets for over 17 years. All the staff are very responsive and friendly. It is obvious how much each and every one there cares about your pets. They have seen us through from kittens to old cats and puppies to old dogs. Their compassion on those most difficult days of goodbye was amazing. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my pets’ needs.

I'm so glad this is my vet. I know my dogs are in good hands and the staff and vets really care about them. The staff turnover is low so I know most of them by name and they know my dogs. One of my dogs hated going to the vet and occasionally needed a muzzle. They were very good at working with him so his anxiety lowered and he rarely needed the muzzle. They've been there for me through many pet emergencies and I've always felt they've gone above and beyond. They've fit my dogs in at the last minute, answered questions over the phone, talked to specialists for me, and followed up later to see how my dog is doing. I particularly want to praise Dr. Collins who had been my primary vet for years. She gives me thorough and clear explanations of what is happening. I really valued this when I had to make the hard decision to put my dog to sleep. She even made time outside of her usual schedule to be the one to do this for him, since he knew her. That meant the world to me.

An excellent and friendly experience. The staff worked very well with the limitations placed on them by the pandemic and provided superb service to my cat and myself. Even having to cover most questions and explanations of the visit over the phone was no difficulty. Excellent and knowledgeable staff. Absolutely earning the 5 stars here.

I took my fur baby for his yearly check up! Due to what is going on in the world....I stayed out in my car and they came to get Gronk. We did everything over the phone. Thank you Dr Collins for taking the time to talk with me over the phone. And the pic you texted me was awesome! The staff here rock!

My 4 year old Springer Spaniel doesn’t take kindly to new vets and techs. But it must have been the old places because he didn’t mind walking into this vets office. I have been disappointed with Mr Beau’s previous vet for a while. Never coming away with less than a $400-$500 bill without feeling like I got my monies worth. Here, I received answers, treatment, and plenty of time with Dr Collins even though it was virtual. No more old vet ‘Petsmart’ for us. Mr Beau is now at a place where I feel 1) they will work him in for an emergency within a reasonable time, 2) they explain everything including future treatments if needed, 3) their staff is friendly and courteous to you and your furry baby. Be careful if you have an emergency with Petsmart, this was the 3rd and last time they couldn’t get him in, always a different excuse. Thank you for being so amazing Briarcrest! You’ve won over my dog which is everything. ???? ???? ????

My dog Buddy (a big boy) has been a patient at Briarcrest since he was a new pup over 10 years ago. My daughter who happens to be a vet tech researched the clinic and doctors for us and recommended them. We use Dr.Maki who has been absolutely wonderful and kind. Dr. maki and the Briarcrest staff are incredible! Never any problems or drama!! Thank you from Buddy

I have been taking my pets to Briarcrest Veterinary Care Center for over 20 years. Suzie Maki, DVM explains things clearly and definitely loves her job - she's the BEST! I appreciate the courtesy, care, and concern for my pets (as well as myself).

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Dr. Collins why did you charge me a whopping $400.00 plus, for an injectional pain medication for my dog when, (as I later learned), everyone else I spoke with charged only half that amount? Not even the online companies selling the same medication charge $800. They sold it for, guess what? Half. I was a loyal and solid customer doctor so none of this makes sense. When we, myself and my very arthritic senior dog came IN for his $800 medication we were left outside, for what was supposed to have been a short wait, (the cat before us "only needed a blood draw."). That was a 45 minute blood draw and on an unusually hot day for that time of year. It took another hour and some change by the time my dog was released to me. All told, 120 very long and very painful minutes for a dog who didn't ask for any of it. 2 whole hours later and not one single explaination, not even an attempt at one and forget about any apology! In the end that $400 medication you had double charged us for made him very, very sick and oh btw it didn't work! I don't know where you learned your practice Dr. Collins but they either skipped business/customer ethics or you did .
