They are very accommodating and tested our Bud for Valley Fever. Staff was very friendly. UPDATE TO BUD'S TREATMENT AT BEAR CANYON: After 6 months of testing, medication and high Vet bills, our Bud was not getting any better. The Vet & staff have no idea what they are doing! The Vet just prescribed terrible medications that were literally killing Bud. I went holistic, changed his diet and supplements, Bud has really improved. That office wouldn't even send Bud's records to his new Vet. They sent one vist...thanks for the other records! They are all sappy sugar to keep you coming back for nothing. Then you realize they don't have your dogs best intentions. It's the $$$$$

Always very helpful. They love your fur-babies as much as you do. Very professional and also welcoming. Dr van Ervin explains everything...medications, sickness, what to expect. Willing to spend time with you. I wouldn't go anywhere else!!!

Great vet and friendly service!

Our adopted 2-year old Boxer mix came with some chronic health problems that perplexed other vets including specialists. He was in constant pain/distress and loosing weight rapidly. One specialist suggested we consider putting him down. Dr. VanErven & Bear Canyon Pet Clinic really put in the time to study and understand his particular issues, successfully diagnosed him, and started him on a comprehensive treatment plan. Absolutely amazing bed-side manner. Today he is healthy and thriving thanks to Dr. VanErven.

Dr. Van and her staff are amazing. They personally care about my pet and my pet enjoys going there. The clinic is reasonably priced and they never push me to purchase “extra” things. The clinic is older but clean. I am never impressed by a fancy office anyways. It just means higher priced visits and procedures. I highly recommend Bear Canyon Pet Clinic.

Competent and compassionate, what a great Vet

Lynn Van Erven, DVM and her entire staff are kind and compassionate. We have been going to Dr. Van Erven's practice for over 20 years and have always trusted her when it comes to the medical care of the furry members of our family.

The staff is friendly, the vet is caring, and the facility is reasonably clean. My family has been taking our dogs, all Humane Society rescues, here for more than 10 years. They have helped us with initial evaluations through putting two down humanely when it was necessary.
