Unless your pet has an issue that your veterinary doctor cannot handle be prepared for a huge bill. I consulted them for an estimate for cleaning my small dog's teeth. No issues other then some tartar build up. The consultation was brief, the cost $150. The estimate was lengthy and came to $3-4000.00. In my opinion that is outrageous considering that the work is performed by their technicians. I do not plan on using their services unless my dog's life is at stake.

Wonderfully run office. Excellent service. Very professional. Kept me updated about my dog. As a physician, I strongly recommend Arizona Veterinary Dental Specialists.

Okay!.. so first off as far a customer service goes they are super nice! They listen to what your concerns are about your pet etc.. but they can be pretty pricey.. The reason I am giving a 3 star is because they want you to do everything up front at one time... and to top it off it may not even be a huge thing you need done to your pet they just want to do it to do it to cross there T's but most of us can't afford a ton we just want to help our pet... They do not offer a paid assistance or program through themselves they expect you to get assistance from credit cards... or us to figure it out on our own... and towards the end.. we felt kinda awful because we said no.. and it almost felt like they were trying to guilt us... ???? So thus the reason for the 3 star.. at first suppose helpful and seemed concerned but towards the end almost as if they switched to how much can we take with pressuring... and guilt..

The team here are excellent with our pets as well as us the mom’s and dad’s! Thoroughly explained procedures, cost estimates and possible outcomes as well as answer all your questions. Put our pets at ease and care for them as their own. Will not hesitate to have my fur baby here again!! They are simply the best.

Impressed from the very beginning. The first person I spoke to there was Debra and she offers top-notch customer service to us with every interaction. I never once felt rushed in person or on the phone with any member of their staff or the surgeon. Their follow-up has been exceptional: texting during our dog's surgery with updates, calling us the day after to ask how she was doing. I felt that my dog was in the best of hands (and I don't say that lightly). I highly recommend them.

Arizona Veterinary Dental Specialists is top notch for your pet's dental care! My 14 year old rescue dog had to have extensive dental procedures, including the extractions of her canine teeth, and the surgical team monitored my dog and made sure she was safe throughout the entire process. They also texted me on a regular basis, keeping me informed of the progress. Such a terrific group of skilled professionals.

Excellent group! Dr Sawtelle, Debra and team were wonderful, thorough and great communicators. My 7.5 year old dog needed surgery and this group is fantastic specialists. Really grateful for their expertise and care for my dog.

Definitely pricier, but you're paying for the best! Unfortunately, I've struggled to find a vet that I trust, so I never would consider letting a normal vet do a dental procedure, especially with anesthetic, on my dog. Arizona veterinary dental specialists were a different story! Brought my dog in due to plaque building on his teeth. AVDS walked me through the whole process, explaining all parts of the procedure, as well as the cost of everything. A cleaning and one tooth extraction later, and all the plaque was gone! When I got nervous about a side effect from the tooth extraction, they even let me come in a week earlier for the follow-up visit. I very much appreciate their patience with both myself and my dog - highly recommend!

I do highly recommend. Very great and professional from start to end. Deborah is very knowledgeable and sweet. Dr. Sawtelle was very thorough about the procedure/extractions, dental radiographs, and home care instructions. Shout-out to her CVT as well who took awesome care of my pet! It can be noted that it is on the pricier side than general practice but you are dealing with a specialist and her team, and with that comes high quality care!

I want more stars for this review! Dr. Adrian and the Vet Techs are simply outstanding in every aspect of their jobs. I have seen many vets over the course of my lifetime and these folks are just the very best; true professionals in every way. They will take great care of your pet and inform you of all that you need to know. They are animal lovers and it shows. Thank you Dr Adrian, words just don't express my gratitude for how you helped my lil Pepper.

My dog had a broken jaw after being attacked by another dog. The care was amazing, they did an excellent job, provided me with details about the surgery like pictures, X-rays and everything they did. Also, gave me cell numbers to docs and called the next day to check up on the dog... WOW.. and the big one was that I had to shop around (surgeries can be a lot) and called many places and they were most affordable .... HIGHLY RECOMMEND

They will take you for everything you have if given the chance. They tried to charge us THOUSANDS of dollars for things that were completely unnecessary. Not to mention the initial exam is $145 which is outrageous. Ended up going to university pet clinic and they just wanted to do their best to take care of our dog. Even stayed hours after closing preforming the surgery he needed. Do not waste your time or your money going here, there are so many better options.

Stupid EXPENSIVE!!! As a retired people dentist, I know a little bit about what dentistry costs. A 10 minute consultation was $145.00 and we were given an estimate of $4000 to $5000 (that is thousand) for a dental cleaning and extracting …
