Doctor Patti is amazing. The staff is always so helpful and friendly! We have been bringing our dog to this clinic the past 3.5 years we’ve lived here!

Dr Patti is by far the very best vet I have ever worked with. She had worked in Ahwatukee years ago, and it took some searching for us to find her, at 44th & Baseline-on the edge of Tempe/Phoenix, West of the I-10 for about a mile. She has cared for all 7 of our pups, and has been there with us for some of the worst days of our lives. There are times she knows the pup is ready to go to the rainbow bridge, and she is so kind and supportive when the decision is ready to be made. When she knows a pup melees emergency care, she quickly contacts the urgent care-so he/she will be seen immediately-and all necessary documents will have been sent in. I can’t say enough good things about Dr Pati and her entire staff. The only negative is she can’t be cloned-and as of last notice, is bombarded with patients, and unable to take new ones. Hopefully soon, she will be able to find qualified applicants to add to her team.

Patty and her team are excellent . We take both of our dogs there and they are treated like angels ???? . Very professional team at South point . We love them all .

My mother referred me to Dr Patty after recently relocating back to AZ as they cared for her dog for many years and eventually put him down after a bout of pancreatitis. I took both of my dogs in for a routine visit and shots and started using their groomer regularly. I called and spoke with the RUDEST person in life about teeth cleaning (she wouldn’t say her name; short hair, old lady w/glasses- not a vet). I was asking about options as my poodle is up in age and I was concerned about putting her under anesthesia. The lady wouldn’t even hear my question out about alternatives before she rudely interrupted and said “We do surgeries on this day and that day and we’re booked out for 3 weeks and it’s $500”. I said well I was wanting to know if you do cleanings without anesthesia. She cut me off again and put me on hold. She left me on hold for so long that I arrived to the place in person before anyone ever picked the phone back up. The short haired lady was equally as rude in person about the situation. It was unbelievable. I would charge it to a one time incident but she was on the phone with someone else being equally choppy and smart mouth.I ended up getting on the schedule to have my dogs teeth examined but not before the next day the “owner” who kept drilling her title that she was the “owner” called my phone personally and said she has canceled my appt for the teeth examine, without a reason, because it’s her business and she can do what she wants and where would I like my dogs records forwarded to…oh it looks like you’ve only been here 1 time so you’re not a regular , so where would you like that “record” faxed to. I can’t believe that someone who prides themself on being a compassionate dog lover was so haughty and condescending. Nevermind that I’ve been a loyal customer to the groomer for 4 years. I had no reason to be in the vets office frequently as my dogs are in good health is why I had only been 1 time. If I could give ZERO stars, I would because I wouldn’t even want my dog around such pride and nasty attitudes. Pride always comes before the fall.

I can't express enough how much I enjoy the staff at South Point Animal Clinic. The care they take for all 4 four of our dogs over the years and our 2 cats has been the best. Patti loves and cares about our dogs as much as we do and never recommends something just because it will make her practice money. I moved over half an hour away from this vet and continue to go because I know the service I get will be the best.

I love love love love love Dr. Patty and would not trust anyone else to take care of my cats. She is always extremely honest and doesn't do anything unnecessary. She is very thorough but most importantly she is very caring and compassionate. You can tell she loves every pet who walks in that door and will always do right by them. She was there for me when I put down my 2 elderly cats (17 &18 yrs old) and has taken amazing care of my two cats I have now. She's very knowledgeable and really works to get to the root of a problem if there is one. Her staff is always friendly and just as caring. I recommend her to every person who is looking for an amazing vet to take excellent care of their animals.

I am so happy I found this clinic. Dr O'Beirn is fantastic. She truly loves animals and cares about her customers. She will let you know the truth and is very honest. Usually the service is prompt unless there is an emergency in which case I feel is also amazing because they don't blow you off in an emergency when they are booked up. I love that this office tries their best to fit you in when you are freaking about about a bump on your pet or a cat that won't eat. I would recommend South Point Animal Clinic to anyone who wants good, honest, veterinary care for their pets.

Dr. Patty and her staff show a lot of love for my cats and dog and take excellent care of them. There is no "up-selling." If she recommends a test or treatment, you can be sure that it is necessary.

Not accepting new clients now, so I have no info to share. My 14yr old cat has gingivitis & needs dental cleaning. Somebody recommend a reasonably priced vet. Ty

Excellent customer service. The front office staff who answer the phone are always pleasant, allows you to ask questions and doesn't make you feel like you're being rushed off the phone. It was our first time using South Pointe Animal Clinic, but we will be returning customers. Thank you for caring for our fur babies as much as we do!

Dr Patti O'Beirn is the best! She is the owner and sole veterinarian. She always has your pet's best interest in mind.

Dr. Patty genuinely cares about her patients. She not only treats them at the clinic, but calls to follow up on their health and well-being.

Turned down sick kitten for appointment since wasn't established client. Animals are still being born and still need medical attention, despite there being a flu.

I love this clinic. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable and they explain things so well. Dr O'Beirn it's so good and never recommends unnecessary testing just to up the bill. We have been going there over 17 years. She has seen us through all our animals in that timeframe. When cancer has been involved I feel like she suffers along with us. An amazing doctor and a wonderful staff.

Take great care of my two dogs

I am lucky to live around the corner from this vet team. After my first visit with my chihuahua, my loyalty to this clinic was won. I was able to discuss things in a real way. She was full of compassion while explaining Domingos diagnosis. We come in with our fur babies many times in a vulnerable emotional state. I left tender hearted, but being confident that the care I could provide him was absolutely the best, and I wouldn’t be paying for care that is unnecessary and ineffective. I was given the chance to ask all the questions I had and she explained with layman terms so I could understand and be informed. I received many follow up calls checking on Domingos responses to treatment. They came recommended by a neighbor and now my roommates have high regard for this team of incredible people as well.
