This last visit was as always "Great". Very thorough and professional!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. However, maybe I went on a busy day, but my wait time was almost 40 mins past my appointment time. That's a bit much.

This place is all about upselling and not about the wellness of the Pet. The owner Vet Alex Cassio has misdiagnosed many dogs here in Scottsdale and tries to silence the negative reviews. Several pets have died under this clinics care. He misdiagnosed our dog as having an abscess for several months and took our money. He also said no refunds whether or not there is a misdiagnosis. We took our dog to another facility and they knew right away he had cancer and we had to have him humanely euthanized. Since our dog was misdiagnosed for months we were not able to provide treatment.

We had a litter of puppies and our dogs received the absolute best care! Everyone was so happy and friendly at every vet visit. Dr. Rice is amazing and we will never go to another vet! So professional and friendly! Our dogs absolutely loved her!

We feel our review is so important and hopefully can save other pets lives. We feel too many have died under the care of this hospital. We took our pet here multiple times and was constantly told he had an infection so we took our dog to another Vet hospital and they immediately diagnosed our dog properly as having cancer. We had to have our dog euthanized. This practice does not prioritize the wellness of the pet but rather money. They also lowball the price of services to get you in the door and then upsell and charge you higher fees. The reviews and the reality of this place tell a different story.

Dr rice amazing and listens to what the problems are. They don’t run test to run test and rack up a bill. They are extremely fair. Well worth the 45 min drive I make to see them.

It's amazing how attached you get to your furry little friend. When they get sick it breaks your heart bc you can't fix them yourself. You can only hope you have quality vet care available to you. I'd been numerous times to Scottsdale animal healthcare.... unfortunately since my little Maltese had been quite ill. Every time we were there, everyone took such great care of her. The front staff always has a smile. The vet techs go over everything they need to get the patient ready and the doctors are all amazing. Kind, compassionate, and they care... They really care. It was time to put my baby down and knew I had to rush her in. They explained everything and made sure I knew all the facts so I made an informed decision. My little one is at peace now. You won't find a more caring, highly qualified vet in the area. I was lucky to have found them.

Scottsdale Animal Healthcare is the absolute best!! I have taken my dogs here for years and have always gotten the best of care. They saved one of my dog’s life and helped us transition with another when crossing the rainbow bridge. The care and compassion is absolutely unparalleled and I will never take my precious pups anywhere else.

Dr. Alex is the best veterinarian I have been to in my 50 years of having pets. I drive 40 minutes each way to bring my dogs here and would be willing to drive much further to see him. The office staff and technicians are also amazing. Thank you very much for taking such wonderful care of my fur babies!

This place is awesome. My puppy Dash loves going there so much. Everyone is so kind and welcoming and make Dash and I feel special. The care there has been fantastic. Several friends recommended this place to me, and I, in turn, recommend it to anyone.

Look no further if you need excellent care for your pets!! I drive 35 minutes each way because of the superior care they offer. In April 2021 my 13 year old pup Sprout wasn't breathing well after a family trip. Tried my vet and 5 vets in my area but nobody could get me in. My daughter takes her pups here so thought I would call them. They had a full schedule but surprisingly squeezed me in as an emergency. They had imaging & medications onsite and EVERYONE was very kind and caring. My dog was diagnosed with early heart failure by Dr. Holly spent the time explaining what was going on despite their busy schedule. She responded to emails and calls immediately. He has since passed and I received a hand written personal card from Dr. Holly. In June I got Olive, a French Bulldog puppy and I wouldn't want anyone else looking after her but SCOTTSDALE ANIMAL HEALTHCARE! This time I was given Dr. Rachel. She makes each customer feel like you are their only customer by giving you individualized attention at every visit. Love everyone here!

This is the best vet I have EVER been to!! I can’t even begin to describe how amazing Scottsdale Animal Healthcare is. We got our puppy back in June and it has been great getting to know the staff and see how well they treat our cattle dog mix, Booker. Although he gets excited and tinkles sometimes, the staff always welcome him with lots of love, pets and kisses. They have provided us with the best care for our pup while also being conscious that we are on a tight budget. Our dog suffered from allergies and when we were visiting California, a vet tried to charge us nearly $300 for a skin test and analyzing. We are so thankful we waited until we were home and could come to Scottsdale Animal Healthcare, they charged us less than $60!!! I could not recommend this vet more… best staff, doesnt price gouge you and we always look forward to bringing Booker in.

Dr. Rachel Casuccio is very knowledgeable and professional. She actually takes the time to do a complete and thorough physical exam. All of the staff including the receptionists and vet techs are attentive and great with my dog.

I am so grateful for the love and care my little Nuetrino received at Scottsdale Animal Healthcare. My little Pomeranian ("Neut") was in dire shape with severe neurological issues. We had a misdiagnosis with another Vet, so by the time we finally made it to see Dr Rice and team, the spark was starting to disappear from my boy Neutrino's eyes. Its the kind of panic no pet owner ever wants to feel. Today, I write this with a happy full heart. My little boy is ALIVE today and showing signs of improvement with the medication. Dr Rice is very knowlegable, even with our complex outlier case. The staff is wonderful. They appear to care genuinely about each and every pet that walks through their door. Just amazing. As a sidebar footnote, I have had a slight "phobia" of Vet Clinics since traumatically and unexpectedly losing a very, very special companion pet in 2017 at a high-end "specialist" animal hospital just a few miles away. Dr Rice, the techs and the receptionist, helped to put my mind to ease. So they aren't just good with animals, they are good with people too :) [edited to correct a few typos]

Awesome people great service they really care about your animals ????

Recently took our dog in for a physical. She had gained significant weight, and Dr. Rice helped us to work on her diet with a stepped plan, and also helped with new medication for her arthritic leg. The staff was marvelous to me and to our dog, and Dr. Rice was the consummate professional in her attitude and demeanor and the professionalism she showed toward our dog and to me personally.

We love Scottsdale Animal Healthcare! Our puppy had parvovirus, and I cannot express how wonderful the staff was in helping us and making sure that our little guy would make it through - which he did! Our dog loves the staff there, and is excited every time he walks in the building.

Our family has had nothing but caring, loving and efficient care from all of you. You all helped us when we were dealing with Scout's lymphoma. You offered treatments that we used when we decided chemo was not the route we wanted to go. Dr. Rice got us in to see the oncologist when the original wait time was much longer. When it was time for Scout's spirit to be released, all your staff on duty on his last visit, the day before he passed away, were giving him hugs and love. That meant the world to all of us. Emails are answered quickly. Rx's filled quickly as well. You give us options for treatments, but never have we felt pressured to do anything. Products that are recommended, are either available in your office, or we are referred to an online company. Dr. Rice is very gentle and extremely compassionate. The staff have all been friendly and caring. I hope that those looking for Veterinary Care become your patient!

Everyone is friendly and professional!

We have been taking our two dogs to SAHVC for about one year. Our previous Vet retired so we wanted someone closer to home. Dr Rice and Dr Rachel have been really great they are caring and smart. The staff is very friendly and works hard to accommodate the clients needs. I was in the veterinary supply business for over 30 years and have been in thousands of clinics. This clinic is clean, the staff is very friendly and caring. We are very happy with the level of care and service our pets receive.

The entire staff really cares for each animal and Dr. Rice is so knowledgeable and patient in her care. I would highly recommend

It would be hard to see ourselves going anywhere else where we get the same quality and value from such a reliable and trustworthy team. Only out for the bucks. Misled us on more than one occasion. Had we not gotten a second opinion, we would have certainly lost our dog. There are much more caring vets available. Extremely disappointed.
