I took my 10 month old "street cat" Kiwi and my two year old adopted (Robbin') Banx to this place and they were amazing! When you get curbside you always think it's not going to be the best experience, especially because you want to be …

I absolutely love everyone at Kaibab Animal Hospital. Their priority is my fur baby, and take outstanding care of her when she's there. I love the wellness plan and take advantage of the two free cleanings a year, free office visits, and shots. They also do a follow up call as well as appointment after any procedure, and genuinely care about the welfare of my doggie. I highly recommend them to everyone.

So this clinic is not just unprofessional and incompetent but a big liar! They response from my first review stating that I did not actually called their office to request Bravecto for my dog, they found nothing on file???? First of all I have a record on file that I called, and by the way it was a man who I spoke too, either it's Jacob or Sabien. I waited 2 days waiting to hear from them when my pet's meds will be available just to find out that no one send a request to the pharmacy coz yeah, they stating that no record on file I called. So I have no other choice but to call Chewy and ordered the meds on the 9th, then on that very same day I received a voicemail from Hailey who is by the way the only helpful staff there, stating that they approved the request for Bravecto. Guess what? on the 11th Chewy pharmacy cancelled my order because they stating that they attempted to contact Kaibab clinic but have not been successful, no meds approval has been sent to Chewy. Omg!!! Whyyyy? I can't believe this clinic. So frustrated and angry, my dog is overdue for her flea meds.

Everyone that works here is extremely compassionate and loving towards our animals. They are all competent and able to answer any questions we have. They have been there for us through a lot of stages in our pets lives and we are thankful that we never feel the need to get a second opinion. Very rare to get this level of care and service! Thank you!

This is my favorite vet around I just really don't like the COVID protocols seems like you have to wait for ever the last 2 time's if gone but in the end I would prefer to wait for vets that I trust

This was a great clinic for a long time. I enjoyed my visits and interacting with vet and the staff, getting to ask questions, and just generally watching how the staff treats my dog. But ever since COVID, for some reason the clinic has refused all visitors, even with a mask or vaccinated, and seem to be absolutely terrified of any contact with the outside world. For example, last summer they asked me to wait in my car so that a staff member could come out to 'pick up' my dog. When the staff member got there and I opened up my driver-side door to hand off my dog, the staff member backed away. When I asked her what was wrong and why she wasn't taking my pet, she mumbled something and backed up more. It was awkward and frankly unprofessional in my opinion. So when I went back today I figured all of that would be over with, considering how much of the country - and our state - has returned to normal. But alas, when I walked up to the entrance and knocked, I waited several minutes before someone cracked the door a few inches, just enough to ask "Can I help you?" I couldn't see her face and when I stepped towards the door to giver her my dog's leash, she began to close it. I literally felt like I was committing some kind of crime. She then stated "I'll be right back," and never came back out. I waited for about 20 minutes before deciding to leave. Again, where is the professionalism? Or is that not a thing in vet offices? I won't be going back. I don't like being treated like a walking plague victim. We put up with that long enough. In my humble opinion, it is time for this company to either a) get past it and move on with their jobs and their lives or b) re-label themselves as a pet 'drop-off clinic' and not a full service veterinarian.

I really love Dr Wright and the Staff here, they are exceptional, so it is hard to delete a few stars. My biggest complaint,is lack of communication. If they could move past that hurdle, and it seems huge, then they would be back to 5 …

Very disappointed that they are still doing curbside check-in. Sitting in a car in over 110 degrees when everything else is open has caused me great concern. I saw an older woman sitting outside in the shade because she had an older car and could not run the A/C for the long wait. I volunteer for a rescue that uses this vet and applaud the quality of care they have given the foster dogs in the past, but during COVID they have been very difficult to work with and obviously not following the science.

Brought a family member's dog here for a dental visit and they stayed on the anticipated schedule and communicated each step of the way!

First of all the receptionist has no idea what is going on and when you can't see your pet while it's being treated this is a big problem. Secondly, after my dogs minor surgery she was crying all night and struggling to breathe. I was so scared she was going to stop breathing I did not sleep all night. The next morning when I called they didn't even have the decency to have the vet call me to explain what the issue could have been. I also had some questions regarding the way the bill was laid out for me to submit it to insurance and I can't even put into words how RUDE and nasty Nancy was on the phone to me. Refused to have the owner call me and seemed like she wanted to fight with me. I'm starting to wonder if my dog was having issues breathing because she was given too much anethesia OR she was just mistreated by the mean staff . NEVER again will I take my dog here. NEVER. If you care about your dog like your child do not expect them to care at all about your animal here or even give you respect. I'm 100% sure their staff will leave a nasty response to this review instead of dealing directly with me. Ask yourself is this the type of facility you want to leave your helpless beloved pet at?

Every time I reach out to Kaibab, Nancy has always been super helpful she goes above and beyond to Answer questions while making you feel comfortable. Dr. Wright has kept our two cats very healthy and happy there Older cats so it’s really important to us.

Kaibab Animal Hospital is amazing!!! They took in our puppy, Grizzly for his first well check and parvo shot. The staff was very friendly, professional and answered every question we had. They even emailed us the next day just to check on Grizzly after his shot. I am VERY comfortable with Kaibab providing medical care for our fur baby and highly recommended them!!!

I have been going to Kaibab for almost 3 years with 3 pets. At first I had no issues with scheduling appointments and I liked the staff. The past 2 appointments have been disasters and unfortunately, administrative issues make an office difficult to work with since they are the first point of contact. My last appt I used their online scheduling and no one contacted me for a month. I called and they apologized and I scheduled an appt. This time I tried again and someone called me back next day with 2 appts available. I called back within the hour and she confirmed me for one of them just 2 days later. I showed up for my appt and they told me they did not have me on the schedule. This type of front desk management is what ruins too many businesses and I have no idea if the vets or mgmt even realize it is going on. I called to transfer my pets medical files and they didn’t even care. Another friend of mine has had similar issues and doesn’t go there anymore. Sad that good techs and vets lose business bc of poor front desk staff.

As someone who has taken my dog to Kaibab for years...I’m not sure if the management or vet staff changed recently, but this place has gone down hill. They make you jump through crazy hoops just to keep your dog healthy and get your dog’s food and heart worm prevention pills of all things!! If you dont want to pay for unnecessary semi-annual visits for your healthy, young dog and only take him annually, they won’t renew his Hill’s food diet that he’s been on for years that poses zero risk! If you are responsible and give your dog heart worm prevention pills on the same day every month but miss a test because they failed to communicate, they wont prescribe/approve heart worm prevention! (They won’t tell you at your visit so that you have to pay to come back once they dont approve it...great communication skills). So the alternative for Kaibab is to let my dog get heart worm?! The benefit of continued heart worm prevention is worst than the risk of...what exactly?? Kaibab denies my dog care (food, prophylaxis) because I don’t want to spend money on unnecessary tests/visits because I take good care of my dog. Clearly the takeaway here is Kaibab does not actually care about the wellbeing of dogs and cares more about a profit. Be cautious coming here.

These people have been amazing! I had to put my sweet old dog down almost 2 years ago, and they were all so amazing, caring and even after the fact, they still sent a letter to me saying their condolences. All my future animals will be going here!

I went here for a second opinion on a 2 mass removals the size of a tic tac and was surprised to get an estimate $600 more expensive then the first place and they recommended a dental cleaning for $400. General anesthesia under 45 mins was $450.00. The worst part was the doctor didn't even discuss anything with me after the exam, which I wasn't allowed in the building and he had gone home for the day.

Very poor service here. We’ve been going to this clinic for a few years and remember when Dr. Wright first acquired the clinic. He is a sound technician and when the book of clients was minimal he was capable of managing it. With the increase in clients we started to see issues. Almost every visit there is an issue with the computers (printing receipts, record keeping etc). The older lady with the short hair is clearly overwhelmed and her frustrations show. I have a dog who may need surgery for a growth plate that closed prematurely and we’ve been trying to reach them for 1 week to discuss the findings of the radiologist. I called today to ask if I can at least have the chart so I can consult with a surgeon and was told they will try to email when they can. Unfortunately you cannot on them when you need them. We’ve recently had a much better experience at Scottsdale veterinary clinic down the road.

I am very happy with our experience at this vet. The vet techs are kind and friendly. They pay close attention to concerns. The vets are also very kind. It was stressful as we inherited a stray kitten who was not spayed during the pandemic. I am so thankful that they remained open and did curbside appointments as our new fur baby kept going into heat. She had a very successful surgery and healed very nicely. We will continue seeing this vet.

Great vet clinic with great staff and veterinarians. They took our pet insurance and had us quickly in and out. Few things to note: 1. Due to covid, everything is being handled via curbside. Park, call them, they take your animal, they bring out paperwork. 2. Make sure you have an appointment before you go - they are not walk in, and are typically quite busy. 3. Due to them being very busy, it seems like they tend to not check all of their emails for any documentation you sent prior to your visit. Either remind them or fill the paperwork in person.

Dr. Wright was always informative about our dogs health and was very caring. He would give all options and then also give his recommendation and why.

Dr. Wright and his staff have been treating my dogs for the past year. In this past year, the treatment my dogs have received has gone beyond professional, it has been compassionate, kind, and honest, as if they were treating one of their own. Unfortunately, one of my 'kids', as Dr. Wright empathetically calls them, was suffering from cancer and I had to make the difficult decision of putting her down. Throughout the whole process, I was comforted knowing it was right decision to make. I was given the time I needed with her for every step and their compassion extended beyond her last moments. This practice isn't the kind that is in it for the money, as I've experienced with other animal hospitals. They work within your budget to provide the most effective treatment and they truly care about the pets and pet owners.

Doctor Wright and staff are great people and animal people. They accommodated my pup in for emergency surgery the next morning. I live in Chandler but was referred to them by my vet. So happy for this recommendation! It's great to see her back to normal so fast.

The quotes are off. They prove gouge you the minute they think you have money. They quoted different prices for the same dog. Just different owners calling.
